[VEE]: Testing, testing, 1 2 3...(background chatter)...yes, I know. Mhm. It's on. You can come in now.
[ASTRO]: Oh...okay then.
[SHELLY]: (loudly) Hi everyone! I'm Shelly!
[VEE]: (pained) Please refrain from speaking into my microphone.
[SHELLY]: Sorry.
[VEE]: Anyways. (clears throat) That was Shelly. I'm Vee, and I will be your host for all following broadcasts. Would everyone else like to introduce themselves?
[ASTRO]: I'm Astro...
[PEBBLE]: Bark bark! Arf!
[ASTRO]: There's Pebble...cmere buddy. (fabric rustles) There we go.
[PEBBLE}: Bwoof!
[SHELLY}: He's almost as small as an archeopteryx. Did you know that-
[VEE]: Sprout?
[SPROUT]: (in the background) Coming! (footsteps and panting) I'm so sorry...huff...I was doing some baking with Cosmo. Toodles' creation day is coming up, so I'm a bit busy right now.
[SPROUT]: (to the audience) Hello! How are you guys doing today? My name is Sprout! I'm in charge of making sure everyone here gets fed. If you have any questions about the food here, just ask me or Cosmo!
[VEE]: These recordings will serve several purposes. Their main one is so we can reach out to humans about our situation at Gardenview Center. However, we are also open to questioning. Resources would be appreciated, but are not necessary at this current moment. Can you pass the list, Shelly?
[SHELLY]: Here you go! (papers flap)
[VEE]: We are in most need of healing supplies, but we can also make use of sweet food items, utility tools, clothes, and some toys. Other items may be received, but aren't likely to be very useful.
[ASTRO]: We also wanted to talk about our...experiences here.
[VEE]: Yes, that too.
[SPROUT]: Feel free to talk to us! We'll try to respond as soon as we're available. I've gotta go, so I'll be leaving now. I probably won't be available for a while. Goodbye!
