Work Text:
Lee didn’t know how to feel when they took the gun from her. She had been ready to put it in her mouth.
The Devil was outside of her. She stood empty before him. He touched her wet face, and laughed; the stink of Kobble’s bedsheets was still on her. Hot metal held in both hands. He would have let her.
There was a dead woman in the kitchen, and another on the couch. A face like a cracked mirror. Lee had planted a little red cross on her own mother’s forehead.
It’s a new hell with the same master.
