Summary
He was technically tidying up, but only in the broadest sense: the floors and tables were cleared of detritus, but the lockers quickly became full of it, lab equipment and tube food settling alongside fuzzy hats and science textbooks. Unfortunately, once he started running out of room, he found that not all of the lockers' contents responded well to a shoulder hefted against a hard place to compact their contents. One gave him a squeeze of tube food to the eye; one was significantly pointier than expected and left a painful bruise; one refused the budge altogether. Another, though, revealed a hidden gem.

Though at first glance the cockpit had seemed entirely alien- naturally, given what the aircraft was developed from-, he was soon able to pick out a number of familiar features, and understand the thought processes behind the design. One important thing quickly stuck out to him, though, bars of yellow conspicuous in the otherwise monochrome cockpit.

Summary
This is 100% inspired by the sentence, "Oh my god, I don't even know when Christmas is here," from a PHM fic by decimalsbuiltdifferent where Grace shows Rocky lots of movies, including Christmas ones.
Basically, Grace tells Rocky all about Christmas, has another near-breakdown, and Rocky tries to fix. Set during the trip to Erid, Grace has serious food issues, and Rocky already has his special suit from the final scene of the movie.

“What made you come up with this?” Grace asks. His voice is thick.
“Grace need comfort,” Rocky says matter-of-factly. “Like a hug. This comfort Grace, question?”
Grace presses his hand more firmly against the top of Rocky’s carapace, and Rocky shifts a bit within the xenonite, rising so that they make nearly direct contact through the panel. It’s not like they haven’t done something like this before—Rocky is always pressing his claws up against Grace’s palm—but it’s different for Grace’s whole hand to be so close, to feel the heat of a living thing against his side and against his palm all at once.
“Yeah,” Grace breathes.
