Tommy will be the first to admit that there isn’t anything that he doesn’t like about his lovely boyfriend, but there is one thing about Evan that he feels is better than everything else, and that is his red birthmark. Any time that he’s at the point where he can, he is always kissing it, especially when they’re cuddling.
“Why are you always kissing my birthmark?” Evan asks breathlessly when Tommy kisses the red mark above his eye for the 7th time since he came home from work. They are both equally blissed out while they cuddle and hold each other before deciding to finally get cleaned up.
“I always kiss it whenever I can because it’s my favorite thing about you, Evan. What’s your favorite thing about me?” Tommy asks hesitantly, hoping that he hadn’t just put his boyfriend in an awkward or uncomfortable position.
“If I had to choose something about you that I love more than all of the other amazing and perfect things, I’d have to say that it’s your adorable cleft chin.” Tommy blushes at the compliments and giggles like a schoolgirl while wiping himself off and changing the sheets on his bed.
“You think everything about me is perfect?” Tommy asks as Evan walks out of the in-suite bathroom with a towel loosely wrapped around his waist.
“No. If I only thought it then that would mean that it isn’t true, and it is, everything about you is perfect, honey.” Tommy feels tears well up in his eyes at the praise as he watches Evan put one of his sweatshirts on. Tommy wakes up the next morning with Evan on his chest and he lightly kisses the younger man’s birthmark like he always does before wiggling out from under him and going downstairs to make breakfast for them both. He’s just finished the first plate of pancakes when a pair of strong, pale arms wrap firmly around his waist.
“Good morning, darling.” Tommy says with an easy smile on his face as Evan starts lightly kissing his neck, making him lean his head to the side in pleasure.
Morning, babe.” Evan replies while kissing his boyfriend’s cleft while the older man chuckles softly and kisses his birthmark, both men loving kissing their favorite parts of each other's bodies first thing in the morning.
“Do you have to work today? I wanted to spend the day with you if I could.” Tommy turns around in the other man’s arms and smiles at him.
“No, I have the day off, same as you. I was thinking we could take a chopper ride to a little secluded place, have a picnic, and then fly over the gulf.” Tommy says while leaning against his counter and turning off his stove so he doesn’t accidentally burn himself or Evan.
“So, you basically wanted to take me on a romantic helicopter date this afternoon?” Evan says teasingly while wrapping his arms around the older man’s neck and playing with his hair.
“Did you expect anything less from me, Evan?” A few hours later, they’re in the helicopter, heading to a forest area that not many people go to for a romantic picnic.
“I think I wanna change my favorite thing about you, It’s definitely your competency.” Evan says as he watches his boyfriend control the helicopter effortlessly, making him half-hard in his jeans.
