Kate and Edwina had planned a girl’s trip to attend The Ears Tour concert in Italy. They couldn't wait to see the concert together. They decided to dress as sister albums: Folklore and Evermore and made so many friendship bracelets.
Edwina and Kate decided to go pub crawling throughout Milan because they had arrived late in the evening. The following day, they woke up early to explore the magnificent parks of Parco Sempione before heading to the famous Milan Cathedral. They ordered takeout for dinner in their Airbnb as they had to go to the concert the next day.
Edwina got sick the night before the concert so Kate decided to not to attend the concert. Edwina convinced Kate to go alone at the concert as she only had common cold and a sore throat, promising that she would feel better the next day.
Since Edwina and Kate were supposed to go to the concert together, Kate felt a little guilty about attending it alone. She wanted so much that they had gone together. However, she was now making her way to the stadium hoping that she would enjoy herself there.
Kate was standing in a line chatting with few other people when Eloise approached her. "Hi, I am Eloise Bridgerton. Did you attend NYU? I believe I may have seen you somewhere "
” Hey, I'm Kate Sharma. I'm sorry I went to Columbia Law," Kate said.
Eloise chuckled "Oh, I see. You're Edwina's sister," and then smiled towards a girl standing next to her.
Kate exclaimed happily” How do you know my sister!”
“She and I are friends; we share a class at NYU” Eloise answered.
“Oh, That’s very nice. Glad I found someone here. I am attending the eras tour alone. I made a few friends here, but now since you are friends with my sister, I will stick by you, only if that’s okay with you”
Eloise chuckled “We would love to accompany you. By the way this is my best friend Penelope”
Kate and Penelope greeted each other. Penelope handed Kate the friendship bracelet. “I love it here. Can’t wait to see Taylor!” Penelope said.
“So, Kate how is Edwina doing?” Eloise asked.
“Edwina got sick yesterday so she couldn’t make it to the concert. You know what Edwina planned this whole trip. We travelled to Italy three days in advance to enjoy a girl's holiday, but she became ill yesterday. I was cancelling to come to the concert to take care of her but she insisted that I must not miss the concert.” Kate answered.
“Oh, Poor Girl. She’s going to miss this amazing concert” Eloise said.
“Don’t worry. She already attended the eras tour concert last summer with her boyfriend” Kate replied.
“Kate, you look stunning. And by judging your outfit I believe Folklore is your favourite album” Eloise asked. Kate had worn a white off shoulder floor length dress with a gold necklace with a heart pendant and was paired with brown boots. While Eloise had worn the 22-song t-shirt that said `A Lot Going At The Moment` with black shorts and Penelope wore a Black Jumpsuit with Snake Earrings.
“Thank you, Actually Edwina and I decided to dress as the sister albums, me going with Folklore and her choosing Evermore.” Kate blushed.
“So, both of you are on a girl's trip as well?" Kate asked.
“No…” Eloise was talking to Kate and suddenly she waved her hand shouting “COLIN HERE!! COLIN”. Kate turned to look them and noticed two men approaching. One of the men hugged Penelope and kissed her at the cheek. The other stood beside Eloise and was looking towards Kate while Elosie was scolding him for being so late.
“Kate we are here with my brothers. This is Anthony and that one is Colin” Elosie said to Kate.
Colin shook Kate's hand and said, "Hi Kate" keeping his other hand around Penelope's waist.
Anthony was still looking at Kate. He watched her soft curly hair cascading down to her waist. he noticed her lips when she smiled. She was, quite possibly, the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.
“I’m Anthony.” He said quickly, holding his hand out and when she took it in her own, she felt a spark of something pass between them. Kate bites her lip, trying to hide the smile that is surely already overtaking her face.
When Kate smiled at Anthony, his heart skipped a beat. As soon as he came to his senses, he jerked his hand back into his pocket nervously.
“Colin, you know my friend Edwina; Kate’s her sister. We met her here, She’s so amazing. Sadly, Edwina got sick and couldn’t make it to the concert so Kate will be joining us.” Eloise said.
Of course, she is amazing Anthony said to himself still looking at Kate.
“It’s so lovely to have you” Colin said.
“Thank you. I won’t disturb you guys” Kate said.
“Nonsense. You won’t disturb us-in fact it would be a pleasure to have you with us” Anthony replied.
“So did you guys travel together to see the concert?” Kate asked.
“Colin and Penelope were already backpacking in Europe when they informed me that they are going to The Eras Tour concert in Milan; so, I begged to accompany them at the concert” Eloise said. “And Colin insisted Anthony to join me besides he has already been to the concert back in New York with our sisters Francessca and Hyacinth”.
“At least Anthony got to attend the concert with all of his siblings” Kate said wishing that she and Edwina would have attended the concert together.
“Well, I have seven siblings” Anthony chuckled.
“Seven!” Kate squeals.” It must be so fun to grow up around seven siblings. “
“Yes!” Anthony, Colin and Eloise answered in unison.
“So, where’s B, D and G then” Kate joked.
“How did you know!” Eloise exclaimed.
“No, I didn’t. I was just joking. Wait are you serious…” Kate said” I noticed your names Anthony, Colin, Eloise than you mentioned Francessca and Hyacinth so I figured the only letters left were B, D and G. I seriously had no idea!”
“Well, Bendict was busy with his art gallery and Daphne got married last month so she’s currently on her honeymoon: Francesca had some pending college assignments and Gregory and Hyacinth wanted to come but Anthony didn’t allow them as they had school” Eloise answered.
Kate and Eloise were talking to each other about the concert and Edwina and NYU while Colin and Penelope were busy with each other. Anthony was mostly staring at Kate behind his sunglasses, but when Kate looked back at him, he pretended to go through his phone.
Eloise held Penelope's hand and said, “Pen, I think we should go get something to eat before the concert starts.”
“Are you joining us, Kate? “Penelope asked.
“No, I’m Fine” Kate said, "I'll hold our place here."
“Colin, I think you should go with them” Anthony whispered into Colin’s ear.
“Wait Pen! EL! I am coming too” Colin followed Penelope and Eloise.
