Summary
The Steve, Dustin, Max and Lucas group means so much to me.
Dustin and Lucas were the first ones to welcome Max to the Party, Max and Lucas have one of the best relationships, Steve and Dustin are practically brothers at this point, Max wrote Steve a letter and after these two Steve is closest to Lucas. Also, the scenes the four shared in season 2 and season 4 are just great.
So, because I love them this series is going to be a bunch of scenes shared between them, maybe in duos, maybe in trios or maybe in the full group. Other characters also is gonna show up, especially Robin.

“Take Max, right, it means a lot to her that you come to pick her up without any complaints, that you don't get angry when she wants to stay longer." Jonathan stated firmly.
"Why would I get mad? She wants to hang with the other shitheads and, hell, they all need that.” Steve answered with a sincerely confused tone.
"That's the difference.” Jonathan said with a light chuckle.
"What difference?” Steve asked, his voice more confused.
"The difference between you and Billy.” Jonathan replied and Steve’s head snapped up. "I'm not saying she is trying to replace Billy with you but, all she knows from boys our age is for them to get mad, yell, and hurt her. She is surprised every time you do the opposite."
or, after the events of Starcourt Jonathan comforts Max by showing her he understands the messy feelings of abusive households and then, Jonathan and Steve bond over their love for the kids.

Max sat on the curb opposite the Harrington house for thirty minutes that night before sighing and getting back on her board. It was past midnight already, and his car still wasn’t there. She wasn’t particularly convinced she would have even gone in to him, if he had been home.
“Mayfeild is that you?” Harrington called out.
