There’s something in Husk’s closet, far back, hidden in a shoe box, that’s about the closest thing to having Angel here as he can get. He’d remembered it existed after just three days without Angel and his fourth time popping a boner just scrolling through pictures of his lover like the miserable sap he was. The cat initially denied its existence, told himself he must’ve thrown it away already. He’d not touched it since Angel moved into the casino after all, so why would he have even bothered keeping it?
But now, almost two weeks of no Angel, that secret in a shoebox is starting to feel like his best option. It’s late, he’s a few glasses of whiskey in, and Angel has just sent him a new picture.
