“I know this looks bad, guys, but I know how to save the day.”
“My Dad is out there in bad Power Rangers cosplay throwing goblin bombs at people, Nico!” Harry Osborne said, exasperated. “There’s nothing we can do.”
“But I do,” Nico said, tapping away at her cell phone. “You know my boyfriend, right? The one who lives in Canada? Well, I may have left some things out about -”
“We know your boyfriend is fake, Nico,” Harry cut in. “It’s fine, slightly pathetic, but fi-”
“Not fake. She’s real. She’s just not a boy… and not from Canada… and also she’s an alien, but we don’t need to get into that right now. The point is: She can help us. She knows Spider-Man too! They can help us.”
Peter Parker just stared past Nico, her words washing over him.
He gasped in surprise as it clicked for him.
“You’re dating Lucy in the Sky?!?” he asked.
Nico chuckled to herself, continuing to tap away on her phone.
“‘Lucy in the Sky’ - heh, that’s cute. Her name is Karolina, but that is what Spider-Man calls her…”
Nico trailed off, turning to look at Peter, her jaw slightly agape.
“You’re Spider-Man?!?”
