Work Text:
After that sudden and unexpected reunion of Yuji Itadori with one of his former classmates, the first graders were already forced to go to the cinema to see the movie that Itadori suggested.
The human centipede.
When they entered the cinema they went straight to buy food, although the one who paid for everything was Fushiguro since he was the only one who had money. Kugisaki excused himself saying, "I finished my money at the cafe, and I also paid for your coffee." And Itadori is Itadori, he had forgotten to bring money so he simply apologized "I'm sorry..." That's what he said.
The movie wasn't that bad, the seats they got were good, however the three of them had different tastes and it was reflected in their actions. Kugisaki was bored, Itadori watched attentively and commented enthusiastically while Fushiguro was somewhat irritated that he wasn't paying enough attention and that Itadori was giving him spoilers.
Megumi was the one who deigned to pay (forced) with his usual apathetic face and anger, He just watched as Itadori and Kugisaki. – Bring money next time.
Although it was completely ignored.
– Finally that hell is over, the movie had already been extended. – Kugisaki said half asleep, she fell completely asleep in the middle of the movie when the romance began. She watched with intrigue as Itadori planned to say something. – What bug bit you now?
– Thanks Fushiguro! – He said with a big excited and happy smile, transmitting his growing joy to everyone around him including his classmates. He was feeling quite grateful that the aforementioned friend had paid. – You saved me again.
– It's no big deal... – He said the aforementioned blessing, turning to look away with apparent apathy and calm. Choosing to continue without seeing Itadori even though his growing anger had already disappeared.
Kugisaki laughed a little at the scene. However he realized something, Thanks to the previous appearance of Itadori's former partner, he knew he had to take advantage of the situation.
– Uhm... Itadori?
– If Kugisaki? – He asked innocently, finishing the last sip of soda left in her drink. Watching carefully what Kugisaki had to say, well he was intrigued without having the slightest idea about what his friend was thinking. What if she didn't like the movie? He was scared if this was the case.
Megumi simply limited himself to observing, how the scene unfolded. Returning to his usual apathy while as his eyes moved following Yuuji and Nobara's movements. Not as if he cared but rather his gossipy lady instinct forced him to.
– How was your childhood? I mean how did you live before you were a sorcerer
Kugisaki added the last thing to make himself understood better, since he knew that his idiot friend might not understand the question. Although Yuuji perfectly understood the question without needing the explanation, feeling a little bad for why he was labeled an idiot.
However, leaving that aside, this Itadori began to try to remember a little more about his previous experiences already lived. His memories about what had happened in his life before being a sorcerer. The words of his late grandfather came to his mind and nostalgia hit him like a black flash.
He realized that he didn't really remember much else apart from living with his grandfather, he doesn't even remember his mother's face, he remembers at most a few moments with his father. So he had to improvise, feeling nervous about what Kugisaki would say about his words.
– Itadori, the land calling to Itadori – Said a Kugisaki apparently somewhat irritated by the long wait. Unconsciously, this Itadori dissociated while thinking.
In an attempt to calm the situation he spoke again. – Uhm, well I had a normal childhood like anyone else although I was raised mostly by my grandfather. I don't remember my parents much but I was happy. – He said returning to a more cheerful tone like usual.
– That's all? – Fushiguro now asks, finally joining the conversation, although he had been listening from the beginning.
– Huh... I also remember hanging out with guys my age, but I felt a bit lonely since it was just me and my grandfather, and I was trying to live a life like anyone else.
Fushiguro didn't speak again, feeling empathy as he remembered how he was alone with Tsumiki. Just him and his sister...
The already ignored Kugisaki honestly didn't expect that answer very much, she thought Itadori had fatherly love since he was always very happy, But in reality Itadori learned to be positive with any situation until now he was laughing happily.
But a new doubt appeared, but now it was for the emo of the group.
– And you Fushiguro? – Kugisaki asked again now looking to the blessing. She wanted to try to get as much information as he could out of Fushiguro now.
There was a silence, apparently there was no answer or even the aforementioned was going to say something about his past since he still did not speak.
Something that disappointed Kugisaki since he wanted to know more about Fushiguro's past while Itadori understood how his love could feel, But he didn't deny that he also wanted to know about this to understand it as much as possible.
– If you're not going to say it, it's okay.
A seemingly defeated Kugisaki said, giving up on having more knowledge of his past. Shrugging her shoulders as she watched Fushiguro's action, who remained silent. Itadori gave a thumbs up, pretending that his friend's opinion was okay.
– No, just give me a moment...
Kugisaki was surprised and shocked just like this Itadori, who was now more excited knowing that his emo friend was going to open up. – Oh really?!
Speak with a melancholic and apathetic tone, but remaining calm. – My mother died when I was born and I don't remember my father, he spent his time from partner to partner while he gambled his money, probably living a great life... However, the last partner of his that I know of was Tsumiki's mother who abandoned us both but then the professor arrived...
– I'm here now!
His teacher Gojo said animatedly appearing in front of them, interrupting Fushiguro's tragic story and Kugisaki's almost tears.
– ¡Professor Gojo! – Greetings happily Itadori, stop being ignored and tell some things. Approaching and observing the sudden appearance of his aforementioned albino teacher. Completely forgetting the story.
– You came at the worst time, professor... – She said somewhat irritated but now she had a new opportunity. She approached Itadori to murmur a new request (order)– Yuji ask Professor Gojo about you know what...
– What are they planning now? – Fushiguro thought, observing them quite carefully, wanting to understand.
– Professor Gojo
The albino was intrigued to know what his beloved students wanted to tell him. – If Itadori?
– What was your past like? Before you were the professor you are now.
– Uhm... Well, I was born into the Gojo clan and they tried to keep me hidden so I could be someone like them, but they couldn't stop my greatness and I entered the school of sorcery where I met a charming prince emo... – He continued talking happily as he recalled his teenage years and his "prince."
Honestly, the three students thought that their teacher was telling a children's story, without knowing that what he said was really true.
– By the way, Professor Gojo, why did you come? – Fushiguro asked interrupting, drawing all of Gojo's attention as he remembered why he had come.
– Thanks for asking Fushiguro, well there is a traitor in us and Utahime needs help. – He said as if nothing happened.
