Summary
The Pines twins had no idea what they were getting themselves into when they entered through the vending machine door.
Dipper had grown to expect the worst since arriving at Gravity Falls. From fighting gnomes to being possessed by a demon, the experiences he lived through would be enough to make anyone retire from adventuring. However the confrontation with Stan, the man who he had horrifyingly come to realize he knew nothing about, became the worst moment of his life the instant he saw his sister being pulled backwards into the portal.
Mabel trusted Stan. Undoubtedly, wholeheartedly she trusted him. Maybe it was the anguished look on his face, or maybe it was the desperate way he said “please”, but either way it was enough for her to let go and float away from the shutdown button. If she had known the force with which she would be torn from her home she would’ve held on.
Lost and adrift, Mabel is faced with the impossible task of finding her way back to her own dimension, whichever one that may be. Although she doesn’t have to do it alone.
Left in the basement, his twin taken from him so cruelly, Dipper is determined to find a way to bring Mabel back to him if it’s the last thing he does.
