Aventurine was driving back from work, he officially started his holidays and can't wait to be back home. He only need to visit some more shops on his way and then he finally will be able to go back straight to his and his dear mate and husband house.
After all they will spend some time only with each other when his rut and Caelus heat will start soon, so they need to make sure that they will have everything what is needed during their private, intimate time.
For long time since they become mates their cycles synchronised and are always starting in the same time. They always are getting throughly prepared, so they will have everything they needs ready when their special time together will begin.
Starting from scenting some new clothes or fluffy bedding that they chosen together, making sure that they will have enough to drink especially in their small fridge that Aventurine put in their bedroom specially for easier access, well balanced, easy enough to make food, taking out heavy dark curtains, so sun will not interfere or especially not annoy very sensitive for many stimulations at time Caelus, checking if they have their medication to prevent pregnancy.
Those are some of things that they're regularly preparing beforehand. Also always before their time starts Aventurine and Caelus spent a lot of time together and scent each other and their clothes, for blond man to calm his slowly building up strong emotions that unfortunate coworkers can witness if they mess up hard enough to annoy him what during that time isn't too hard to do, and for silver haired man to make nest and feel safe and sound.
Around their special time they always go through many different emotions and feelings be it getting more easily tired, being sensitive for light or some food and ingredients or behaving more clingy to each other and more irritably with others.
Aventurine finally stopped on parking near supermarket and went to buy some more bottles of water and some fresh fruits for quick and healthy snack. Blond haired man looked at list of important to get things that they wrote together and noticed that he only need one last things which are some of Caelus favourite sweets and desserts that silver haired man added when Aventurine wasn't looking. Blond man just smiled and went to bakery that they both like a lot to buy favourite sweets for his love, already planing their date in nice cafe during rest of their holidays when their cycles will end. After making sure one more time that he got everything that they will need he immediately came back to car and drove straight to home.
When Aventurine finally arrived after entering house he was meet with silence. He fastly unpacked groceries and went to find his mate. Blond haired man followed Caelus sweet scent till he reached their bedroom. When he came in he noticed that nest is empty, nearby on floor are lying thick curtains and Caelus is nowhere to be find. Blond man looked around and felt that his mate scent is coming strongly from their closed, so he quietly approached it. Aventurine gently opened door to see his dear Caelus laying there together with their three cats on some small fastly made from blankets nest and is holding closely to himself one of Aventurine shirt.
Blond man started to slowly close door knowing that his mate often not only is getting more sensitive for shroudings, emotions and food before his heat, but also he is becomes very easily tired and sleep more to collect energy before heat, that's why Caelus is often taking free time faster than him.
That's why Aventurine decided to let him rest more, but before he was able to close door he heard sleepy voice. "Kakavasha you're back, how was work and did you buy my favourite?" Asked Caelus and after yawning and rubbing his eyes a little, he lightly raised his head.
Their cats only meows for greeting and went back to sleep.
Aventurine crouched and kissed his husband head. "It was fine everything went smooth and ofcorse I bought them, you can have as much as you want later for now rest some more. But I need to ask first what are you doing in closed love?"
"Sun is so bright today and it was annoying my eyes. I wanted to put up those curtains, but I feelt to tired that's why I grab some bedding and decided to nap here."
"Alright then rest more I will wake you up for dinner later." Aventurine was about to stand up, but he heard his mate again.
"Kakavasha."
"Yes love?"
Caelus only gestured for him to get closer. When blond man done what he was asked for silver haired man threw his arms on Aventurine neck and kissed him. They stayed like that for a moment enjoying each other closeness and warmth till Caelus broken kiss.
He smiled brightly and cuddle back to blanket and shirt. "Now I will have sweet dreams, thank you."
Aventurine caress his dear mate head them closed door to closet and went to change his work clothes. After that he decided to went to kitchen to start preparing dinner for them. When food was slowly cooking Aventurine decided to put heavy curtains up, then prepared food for their cats and in the meantime he checked if their cats have everything that will be needed packed in backpack for time when Caelus sister will come and pick them up to take care of them when their intimate time will start.
Aventurine came back to kitchen and was preparing some fruits when he heard footstep and felt coming closer sweet scent. Moment later he felt arms around his waist and Caelus leaned on his back.
"Did you rest well dear?" He only felt silver haired man head nod as an answer. He came back to preparing fruits, then slide ready plate to side. "Dinner will be ready soon, but if you want you can eat some fruits."
"Thank you." Caelus finally let go of blond man, but before that he kissed back if his neck and started to eat some strawberries and fed blond man some from time to time.
Aventurine looked at him warmly and noticed that Caelus was wearing only shorts and his shirt."When will your sister come for our three dear babies?"
"Hm? Sorry what did you said?" Asked Caelus.
"I asked when will your sister come? About what are you thinking so intensely dear?"
"That's nothing really." Caelus smiled softly and took another pice of apple. "Stelle wrote to me today morning that she will come here tomorrow before afternoon, so we better make sure they are properly prepared after dinner."
Caelus looked like he was deep in thoughts not only about their cats, but Aventurine decided not to pry knowing that his mate will tell him when he will feel like it.
"I already prepare their backpack, but if you want we can check it again together after we eat."
"I will like that."
Then they proceed with dinner preparations. Caelus got table and tableware ready and Aventurine put their food on plates and got it to dining room.
They sat in silence enjoying home made food even their cats finally woke up and was happily eating their food, then Aventurine noticed that Caelus started to just play with his food on plate.
"If your preheat symptoms got worse you can tell me. Especially if food is still to strong for you it's really no problem for me to make something lighter."
"It's not it I just..." Caelus shook his head.
Aventurine put his hand on his mate one and squeezed it firmly feeling that Caelus sweet scent is getting a little sour. "You can tell me what's bothering you."
Caelus sighed, but then squeezed Aventurine hand back and decided to share what is weighing on his mind. "We're together for long time already and I know that we are busy with our work, but I was thinking a lot about it lately, so..." Caelus shook his head and looked hopefully and with determination straight in the eyes of his husband. "Can we this time not take medicine and try to make our family bigger?" Then he add fastly. "Ofcourse if you are not ready we can wait more I really want for us both to be ready for this big decision."
Aventurine looked shocked because family topics wasn't bringed to often between them, yes he thought about it and saw Caelus happily helping others with taking care with their babies, but he know that Caelus loves to travel a lot and wanted to explore world more, so Aventurine wanted to wait for his mate with that decision. When he noticed that his dear mate determination is decreasing he immediately hugged him closely.
"You and me having happy little one that will be perfect combination of us? I couldn't dream about anything better." Then he kissed Caelus lovingly.
"Really? I thought that it is to big of life changing decision, so I wasn't sure if I should ask about that now when we're busy with work and especially you after your promotion."
"You're the most important for me. Never fret from asking me about anything I'm here to always listen to everything that you have to tell no matter what it's, just like you always listen to me. Also thinking about you glowing even more with our little one and spending time together just enjoying our presences in nest make me want that even more."
Caelus got his happy sweet scent back, hugged Aventurine tightly and nuzzle his head in his Alpha neck. "Thank you, I love you." Said while leaving small kisses on blond man neck.
"Love you to and that's nothing to thank me for. It's our decision and responsibility and I'm ready to take it." He then kissed Caelus head. "But now let's go back to eating. I know that you have infinite stamina during your heat, but you still need to eat properly before and gather more energy.
After eating and washing dishes they checked their cats bag putting in their cat carrier some of their little trouble makers favourite toys that Aventurine thought were lost forever and Caelus somehow miraculously found, then after playing a little with their small family members and finally eating their desserts they decided to got ready to bed.
Caelus put some more clothes in and ultimately finished nest. When he noticed that Aventurine is taking his pyjamas and is going towards bathroom he immediately caught sleeve of his husband shirt.
"What's up love, do you need something?"
"Can we sleep shirtless? I just want to feel your skin on my and directly hear your heartbeat tonight." Asked a little red on his face silver haired man and looked to the side.
"Ofcourse dear."
Caelus smiled brightly and after some more scenting from his partner and him silver haired man decided to take top part of pyjamas and also add it in to the nest.
Aventurine love Caelus with his whole heart he love his curiosity and strong personality, but still after all this years he can help feelings like melting inside when his dear husband behave so bashful and innocent especially and the most often before his heat. Additionally it's the best thing to calm his storming emotions.
Soon they were laying in carefully made nest Aventurine on his back with Caelus on his chest humming happily some made up tune and for Aventurine there wasn't anything that could beat that. Blond man hugged his mate tightly wondering what future will bring to them, but no matter what he was ready for anything with his dear mate together with him.
