Summary
Aziraphale and Crowley are finally free from Heaven and Hell, or as close to it as they can get. Their fairy tale love story is finally on track to be just what it should be, according to the lyrics of a particular Peter Gabriel song - long and boring.
But.
As Adam Young comes of age, grieving and longing for childhood, and the archangel Saraqael investigates the disappearance of human souls from Heaven (including the Son of God), the angel and demon inevitably become involved in a mystery that’s a matter of life and death. (It’s really more the latter.)
What Peter Gabriel never knew is this: God wrote the real Book of Love, and it’s locked up in Aziraphale’s bookshop for safe-keeping. It may be long and boring, but it’s also powerful, and possibly dangerous. And God hasn’t decided how to end it just yet.Series
