Work Text:
Chibita has never been a particularly delicate person, so when Osomatsu was sat in front of him and complaining about his brothers "growing distant," Chibita decided to just get straight to the point.
"You need to let your brothers go," Chibita started, swinging his ladle upwards. "If you don't wanna grow up, well you're terrible but at least-"
"Excuse me?" Osomatsu sat up from his slouch, sloshing some of the alcohol from his cup. "First off, you family-less orphan-"
"Hey! I wasn't done!" Chibita shouted. Osomatsu screwed his face up into what Chibita considered a fairly pissy expression.
Chibita crossed his arms and Osomatsu sipped from his cup, their eyes locked. Osomatsu eventually looked away, sighing. Chibita resisted the urge to sigh as well. Matsunos were such a hassle, honestly.
"If you wanna be a penniless loser your whole life I cant stop you, but don't you want better for your brothers?" Chibita asked, softer than he meant to.
He already knew the answer.
"Hell no! I want them with me!" Osomatsu said, drunk-loud but not slurring at all, "'Better'? Honestly? Honestly! What's better than mooching off our parents and doing what we want whenever we want?!"
"You're honestly so pathetic!" Chibita snapped, irritated. "Are you so afraid of being alone that you'll sabotage your brothers having a chance at a future?!"
Chibita knew the answer to that one too. Still, he was surprised by Osomatsu's answer.
"Yeah? Of course."
"You're horrible!" Chibita shrieked. "Absolutely horrible! What the hell!"
Osomatsu laughed, apparently delighted by Chibita's outrage.
Chibita gave in, sighing. Matsunos, honestly.
