Summary
The Doctor's usually fairly adept in hiding their less-than-humanoid body parts from their human companions. Their feelers and scythes and wings stay where they belong, in the higher dimensions and the Vortex, and their friends never have cause to suspect that they're anything more than just another humanoid alien.
When they regenerate, however, things tend to slip somewhat.
(A series of ficlets about each of the Doctor's regenerations, in a world where that process bears a significant resemblance to an insect shedding its exoskeleton.)

Summary
"Our world wasn't always like this, you know. Once upon a time it was very ordinary. Stable, peaceful, almost boring, small human towns separated by vast wilderness inhabited by pokémon, people living the same lives, century in and century out, change coming slowly, when it came at all. There was nothing to set it apart from a million other pokémon worlds, quiet and unremarkable."
"Then the Voices came. And nothing was the same, ever again."
(My interpretation of the Twitch Plays Pokémon stream from 2014 to 2018, as the story of a pokéverse the Voices randomly wandered into, and all the nightmares, chaos, adventures, and joy they found and caused there.)

A bunch of vaguely TPP-themed rambles, songfics, and errata that I can't quite justify giving their own posts to rescued from the tumblpocalypse. Posted in probably-chronological order. Capitalisation not guaranteed.

Summary
Elrond has known for most of his life that the world is going to end soon. No matter what happens, sooner rather than later, the forces of the Enemy will overrun what's left of the Fëanorians, and they'll all die painfully. The darkness will reach down from the sky to annihilate all Beleriand, and evil will rule all.
Except it doesn't.
(Elrond's relationship with Maglor and thoughts about the future, from the arrival of the Hosts of the West until after the end of the War of Wrath, to the tune of nyanyannya's Clear Sky Engine.)

Summary
Fëanáro, she says. Oh, my son. What they do in your name, what you have done to your own name. The world trembles at their feet, as it once did at yours, and yet you burned bright, my spirited son, while they burn, and are burnt in turn. I am so, so sorry.
What they will yet do, she does not say, but you look at her, and you know that she fears it. Your mother knows better than most how death is a mercy, and how it is not, and you cannot bear to have her tell you which it will be for your sons.

Summary
Alma knew what he had done.
Yet, she had no desire to desert her husband. Not now.
Even when the glares of the residents of Tirion felt as though they were burning a hole in her back.
....
Maglor’s wife, Alma, was aware of her husband’s deeds after her death at the Battle of Unnumbered Tears. She knows that she will face the consequences of his actions, but she will not desert him. Not now.
However, Alma will soon come to realise that, when it comes to the Sons of Fëanor, forgiving and forgetting are entirely different things, and that she has a more important role to play now than ever before.

Summary
Fate killed Maidros, according to those who remained.
Fate killed Maedhros again, they say when they hear the news from the West.
Bruithwir never should have changed his name to Finwë, they say, it only made fate angry.
