Work Text:

“He’s so pretty,” Mingyu propped his chin in his hands, staring across the cafeteria with a lovesick grin.

Choi Soobin, leader of TXT, sat with his back to Mingyu, chatting animatedly with Huening Kai. He wore a striped button up with sleeves rolled up to his elbows, tucked into black dress pants which emphasized his tiny waist. The sight made Mingyu feel a tiny bit insane.

Seungcheol groaned loudly, “Mingyu, stop staring like a creep!”

“Yeah hyung, it’s getting kind of embarrassing,” Chan snickered.

Mingyu pouted dramatically, “None of you get it! Soobin-ssi is literally the epitome of love and joy and everything good in this world.”

Jeonghan rolled his eyes from where he was tucked into Seungcheol’s side, “Yes, we know he’s cute, yes, we know he’s pretty, because you won’t shut up about it.”

“Seriously, you see a man do a few girl group dances once and fold immediately. That’s crazy,” Soonyoung muttered under his breath.

“Okay, first of all, I know Soonyoung is just jealous because his attempts to seduce Jihoon still haven’t worked, which, by the way, you could talk to him. You’re just too scared to,” Mingyu turned to stare indignantly at Jeonghan, “Hannie-hyung, you really don’t get it! I’m convinced he’s meant for me. It’s only because you didn’t see him bouncing around to Girls Generation. He’s so cute.”

“Gyu-ah, I watched the video,” Jeonghan deadpanned.

“It’s not the same as seeing it in person!” Mingyu protested.

“He was pretty cute in person,” Minghao said, setting down his lunch tray, “You could tell his energy levels went up when he was dancing.”

“Exactly!” Mingyu exclaimed. Then he frowned, “Wait, don’t talk about my future husband like that. He’s mine.”

“Believe me, I do not want your man,” Minghao reassured him.

“Seungkwannie might, though. Did you hear he got Soobin’s number?” Soonyoung remarked.

Mingyu whipped around to glare at him, “What?”

“Yeah, I was with hyung when he asked.” Chan affirmed. And then he paused, turning bright red as he looked towards the entrance of the cafeteria.

“What’s got you all- oh,” Minghao laughed as Choi Yeonjun walked in, all confidence and swagger, dirty blonde hair falling across his forehead.

Yeonjun glanced up from his phone, scanning the room. His eyes landed on the table where the six members of SEVENTEEN were gathered, unphased to see them all staring directly at him. He flashed a small smile and a wave before sauntering over towards where Soobin and Huening Kai sat near the window.

Mingyu glanced at Chan, who looked like he was about to pass out. His face was so red, Mingyu was certain that he could cook an egg on it.

“Dude, are you okay?” Mingyu raised an eyebrow at Chan.

“I-I’m fine,” Chan replied, voice cracking.

Minghao chuckled, amused, “He’ll live. He’s just crushing right now.”

“On Yeonjunie? Wow, our Channie is growing up…” Soonyoung gasped exaggeratedly, pressing a hand to his heart.

“I just thought he was really cool, you know?” Chan said sheepishly, scratching his head.

Mingyu flopped onto the table with a groan, “You probably have more of a chance than I do. Soobin barely knows I exist.”

“I don’t know, hyung, maybe you fangirling over him for a good thirty minutes during the random play dance got the message over to him,” Seungkwan said, dropping into the seat next to Mingyu.

“I hope you explode,” Mingyu deadpanned.

“Gyu-ah, don’t be so violent.” Jeonghan chided softly.

“It’s fine, hyung. He’s just mad that Soobinie likes me more. Isn’t that right, Gyu-hyung?” Seungkwan smiled.

Mingyu mimed choking him, “You really got his number? This is so unfair. And I can’t believe you’re already dropping honorifics with him.”

“It’s more progress than you’ve been making. Have you even talked to him since Game Caterers was filmed?”

“For your information, yes. He said hi to me in the hallway once!” Mingyu puffed out his chest proudly.

Seungkwan laughed, “Well, we’ve been texting everyday and we’re planning to go check out this new cafe together.”

“I’m actually going to kill you,” Mingyu launched himself at Seungkwan, who let out a strangled scream.

“Yah- hyung, what the hell, no, Seungcheol-hyung, he’s abusing me!”

Seungcheol just sighed, taking a resigned bite out of his sandwich. The members had learned to ignore the duo whenever they got started on their playfighting.

Mingyu had just about shaken the life out of Seungkwan when he heard a melodic voice from above him.

“Hi, sunbaenims, I hope we’re not intruding.”

He froze, slowly turning to see Soobin, standing over him. Yeonjun and Kai stared from behind the leader, looking thoroughly amused.

“Aw, Soobin-ssi, you’re just as cute as my members keep saying you are!” Jeonghan cooed, “Don’t worry about interrupting, we’ll always be glad to see you!”

A flush spread across Soobin’s cheeks, “Thank you so much, sunbaenim.”

“See, Soobinie, you really didn’t have to be worried. Hyungs are nice!” Seungkwan batted Mingyu’s hands off his shoulders. Mingyu grimaced at his sickeningly sweet expression.

Soobin smiled again, lips curving up prettily. Mingyu noticed offhandedly that the right half of his lips lifted into his smile first, and Mingyu decided that he really wanted to die right then and there. Soobin was ethereal, the most beautiful man on the planet, show-stopping, stunning, delectable–

Mingyu was seriously contemplating how weird it would look if he hid under the table when Minghao spoke up.

“Did you need us for anything, Soobin-ah?”

“Oh, yeah,” Soobin said.

He turned his soft gaze to Mingyu, his cheeks flushed a delicate pink.

“Mingyu-sunbaenim, I apologize if this is too forward, but could I have your number? I wanted to ask after we filmed together, but things got in the way…”

Mingyu wanted to get out of his seat and start jumping up and down in joy.

“Of course, Soobin-ssi! By the way, you can drop honorifics with me, I don’t mind at all,” He handed Soobin his phone with a grin.

“Thank you, hyung,” Soobin typed for a bit, saving his contact and pausing for a few seconds before giggling and handing Mingyu his phone back.

“You’re welcome, Soobin-ah,” Mingyu pocketed his phone immediately, still in disbelief.

“We have lessons soon, we have to get going now, Bin-ah,” Yeonjun said, peering over Soobin’s shoulder from where he had been conversing with Kai.

“Ah, okay hyung. Thank you, Gyu-hyung and it was nice talking to you all, Seventeen-hyungs!” Soobin bowed.

As the trio walked away, Mingyu caught Yeonjun turning and winking at Chan, who immediately turned away with a barely-concealed smile on his face. He raised an eyebrow at Minghao, gesturing towards the maknae. Minghao just shook his head in a “I’ll tell you later” gesture.

The second the doors swung shut behind them, Mingyu turned to Seungkwan with a shit-eating grin on his face. Seungkwan looked like he wanted to throw Mingyu out of the window.

“Sucks to suck, Seungkwanie!” Mingyu exclaimed, “He asked me for my number!”

“Yeah, because you were too much of a pussy to ask on your own, Gyu-yah,” Soonyoung said.

“That doesn’t matter!” Mingyu felt like his face was going to split in half with how wide he was smiling.

“You’re so annoying,” Seungkwan groaned, “It’s fine, he definitely likes me more.”

Mingyu frowned, “He approached me first! I’m his favorite!”

“Whatever you say~”

Mingyu rolled his eyes and took his phone out of his pocket. He unlocked it, only for his eyes to widen in shock as he dropped his phone on the table with a loud thunk.

Soonyoung peered over his shoulder and burst out into laughter.

Mingyu’s phone was left open to his Naver app, where he had searched ‘Choi Soobin cute pictures’ and forgotten to close the tab.

He put his head in his hands and groaned.

Mingu was at the gym when he spotted Taehyun. While he wasn’t too familiar with the younger, he’d seen Taehyun around the gym enough times to where he could comfortably strike up a conversation.

“Hey, Taehyun-ssi!” Mingyu waved.

Taehyun turned from where he was filling up his water bottle, “Hi, sunbaenim.”

It was relatively quiet in the HYBE gym, with only Mingyu and Taehyun on the first floor.

“How are you? I’ve seen you around here a lot these days.”

“Yeah, I’ve been trying to prioritize working out while we’re on break. Tour has been a lot, so I’ve been trying to rest while I can,” Taehyun said.

“Good on you. When I’m on break, I mostly lay in bed and scroll on my phone all day,” Mingyu laughed, “We should work out sometime, it’d be fun to not be alone for once.”

“Of course! Thanks for asking me, sunbaenim, it’d be my pleasure.”

“No need to be so formal,” Mingyu clapped Taehyun on the back, “You can drop honorifics if you’re okay with it!”

Taehyun smiled. The younger boy was so cute with his huge eyes and little fangs, Mingyu understood MOAs who said they wanted to bite him.

“Okay, hyung.”

Mingyu had turned away to leave the gym when he heard Taehyun call out.

“By the way, Mingyu-hyung, Soobin-hyung has been whining about you not texting him for the past two days. Please text him and put the rest of us out of our misery.”

Mingyu felt his face warm. Taehyun looked amused.

“Just talk to him, hyung.”

Later, as he exited the gym, he collided with a very tall, solid body.

“What the- oh, hey hyung!”

Mingyu looked up to see Soobin standing in front of him, his dimple peeking out as he smiled. He wore a white button up shirt, the top buttons undone and showing an expanse of pale skin and collarbone.

At that moment, Mingyu totally understood vampires. If he was a weaker man, he’d have chomped down on Soobin’s delicate collarbone already.

“Hi Soobin!” Mingyu smiled, resisting the concerningly strong urge to eat the younger man, “What are you doing here?”

“Oh, Taehyunnie texted me and said he’d be done with his workout soon. We’re planning to go have lunch together.”

“That sounds nice.”

“Mhm!” Soobin hummed, pursuing his lips.

“Speaking of Taehyun-ah, he told me something quite interesting earlier…” Mingyu said teasingly.

“He did?” Soobin’s eyes widened, and Mingyu watched as the tips of his ears began to flush a soft pink.

“Something about you sulking and waiting for my text?” Mingyu stepped closer to Soobin, who refused to make eye contact, eyes fluttering from the floor to the walls to the ceiling.

“Ah, that’s not-”

“Are you sure?” Mingyu cocked his head, “I don’t see why he’d lie to me.”

“Well, what was I supposed to think?” Soobin pouted, “I give you my number, and you don’t text me.”

“I’d never pass up the opportunity to talk to a pretty boy, I was just scared that I’d made you uncomfortable,” Mingyu admitted, running a hand through his hair. He absentmindedly watched Soobin’s eyes trail down his arm before snapping back to Mingyu’s face with a blush.

“By looking me up on Naver?” Soobin raised an eyebrow.

“Well, I think I’d be a little weirded out if I asked someone for their number and found out that they were looking me up,” Mingyu said.

“I’m flattered, hyung,” Soobin smirked, “I’m glad you think I’m so intriguing that you have to look up cute pictures of me in your free time. You must like me so much.”

“I just called you pretty, Soobin.”

“Is that an admission?” Soobin leaned back, causing Mingyu to follow.

“I don’t make it a habit to lie,” Mingyu placed his hand on the wall next to Soobin’s head, “So yes, I do like you a lot.”

“You’re so cute, Bin-ah. It drives me insane sometimes.”

“Hm? I thought you said I was pretty, though.”

Soobin was such a brat, speaking smugly with his mouth quirked upwards. He looked so ethereal, so perfect, that Mingyu wished for a second he could unhinge his jaw and swallow the boy whole. Like a snake. Not in a weird way, though…

“You’re definitely both,” Mingyu breathed.

They were still in the middle of the hallway, where anyone could pass by and see them, Mingyu practically pinning Soobin against the wall. Mingyu found that he didn’t care.

“Do you think I’m handsome too then, hyung? You say so many dangerous words, yet every time I try to make a move on you, you start sputtering. Why don’t you act on it?”

Soobin stared up at him, daring him to move. Mingyu found himself entranced, trailing his gaze across the planes of his face, the slope of his nose, landing on his plump, pursed lips. Soobin brought his slim fingers up Mingyu’s neck, cupping his cheek and bringing them closer–

Soobin dodged at the last minute, pressing his lips gently to the corner of Mingyu’s mouth before pulling away, a large hand splayed across Mingyu’s chest to keep him from leaning forwards again.

Mingyu flinched, “Soobin, what-”

“Hyung!”

The two men turned to see Taehyun, standing at the exit of the gym with his arms crossed. With the distance, Mingyu couldn’t tell what the youngest was thinking. His expression appeared completely blank, if anything laced with a tinge of impatience.

Soobin sighed and pushed Mingyu off of him completely, “Coming, Tyunnie!”

He turned to Mingyu, voice dropping to a whisper, “Sorry, Mingyu-hyung, but you’re going to have to try harder than that.”

He winked and started down to where Taehyun was standing, linking arms with the younger as they continued down the hall. As they turned the corner, Soobin turned to give Mingyu a small wave and smile. Mingyu stood, gym bag slung over his shoulder, completely frozen as his mind worked overtime to process what had just occurred.

Huh?

₊˚🐰🍊🐶⊹

Mingyu flopped on top of Joshua, who let out a groan.

“What the hell, dude.”

They had just finished going over choreography, and Mingyu was bone-tired. Soonyoung had been more strict than usual, claiming that they needed to recover their muscle memory for the tour.

“Hyung, I’m tired,” Mingyu whined.

Joshua rolled his eyes, “Maybe if you didn’t stay up so late last night watching Soobin-ssi’s fancams, you’d have more energy right now.”

Mingyu hit him in the chest, rolling off of him with a groan.

“When are you going to just man up and make a move? Stop dancing around him,” Joshua said exasperatedly.

“Hyung, you don’t get it. He’s so perfect and pretty and I just can’t believe he’s talking to me, and he looked so interested but then he told me to try harder.”

“Maybe he doesn’t like you as much as you think he does,” Seungkwan interjected, falling on the floor next to the duo.

Mingyu sat up indignantly, “Well, I basically kissed him, what can you say you did?”

“He was the one who kissed you, and it was on the corner of your mouth,” Joshua muttered under his breath. Mingyu huffed.

“So he basically dodged you,” Seungkwan snickered, “I bet I can get him to kiss me faster than you can.”

“That’s not possible! I’ll be the first one to kiss him, thank you very much,” Mingyu crossed his arms.

“Well? It’s on, then,” Seungkwan put out his hand to shake.

Mingyu grabbed it, “May the best man win.”

“You’re both fucking crazy,” Joshua said, jaw hanging open.

“What did they do now?” Chan draped himself heavily over Seungkwan’s back, causing him to squeak in complaint.

“Hey! I’m just aware of the fact that Soobinie clearly enjoys my company more than he enjoys Mingyu’s. He’d definitely choose me,” Seungkwan waved his hands around, almost hitting Chan in the face.

Mingyu rolled his eyes.

“If it helps, Yeonjunie says he talks about both of you a lot. Like a lot. A bit too much to not be interested in either of you,” Chan said.

Joshua reached out to hit him playfully, “Don’t inflate their egos more, Chan-ah. I can see Mingyu’s head expanding from here.”

“Hey!” Mingyu exclaimed, “My head is a perfectly normal size, thank you very much. Also, don’t think I missed the fact you called Yeonjun-ssi Yeonjunie, Chan-ah. Is your crush finally getting somewhere?”

“Aw, our little maknae has a boyfriend,” Seungkwan cooed, twisting to pinch Chan’s cheek, “I’m telling Seungcheol!”

Mingyu looked on as Chan somehow managed to throw his entire body onto Seungkwan, essentially draping him in a weighted blanket. Seungkwan shrieked and squirmed, blonde hair mussed and skin shining with a light layer of sweat. As much as Mingyu enjoyed bickering with the younger, he loved when they agreed more. Seungkwan was dedicated, beautiful, and never failed to play off of Mingyu’s jokes and jabs.

He snapped his gaze away, looking around to make sure no one had spotted him staring. Unfortunately, he turned to see Joshua looking at him knowingly, a small smirk creeping up his face.

₊˚🐰🍊🐶⊹

Over the next few weeks, Mingyu saw Soobin everywhere;

In the artist’s lounge, a sleeping Beomgyu on his shoulder and Taehyun sprawled out in his lap typing absentmindedly on his phone,

In the gym, dimple appearing and a concentrated expression as his biceps flexed, a sheen of sweat on his arms and wet hair pushed back from his forehead (Mingyu had almost passed out),

Standing in front of a storage closet with Jeonghan, a slightly disgusted expression on his face as Yeonjun and Chan tumbled out with sheepish smiles on their faces,

Laughing with Seungkwan, smile stretched across his face and eyes shining with love— Mingyu understood why so many people fell for him, why idols whispered backstage about the “tall TXT leader with a bunny smile”, why staff members stared in awe whenever he walked by– he fell even deeper when both turned to him, grins on their faces, beckoning him over into their warmth.

He wasn’t even sure if the ‘competition’ between him and Seungkwan was still on. Sometimes, all three of them would spend their brief free periods together, and Soobin would come so close that Mingyu felt his breath ghosting over his lips; still, he’d always pull away at the last minute with a small smile curved onto his face.

One day, after Mingyu had finished recording, he opened his phone to find three messages from Seungkwan and one from Jeonghan. Seungkwan had sent a garbled string of words and then instructed him to come over, whilst Jeonghan had simply said, come see us whenever you’re finished.

Mingyu entered the apartment to find Seungkwan curled up on the couch, staring blankly at the wall with Jeonghan sitting next to him.

Jeonghan looked up when Mingyu entered.

“What’s up with him?” Mingyu raised an eyebrow at Seungkwan, who still hadn’t moved.

“I think you two need to talk,” Jeonghan said, standing up.

He patted Mingyu on the back as he walked by. Mingyu heard a soft click as Jeonghan shut his bedroom door behind him, leaving him alone with Seungkwan.

“Seungkwan-ah, is everything okay?” Mingyu hesitated before sitting next to Seungkwan.

“Hyung, Soobin knows.”

Mingyu frowned, “Knows what? About the kissing thing?”

“Yeah,” Seungkwan nodded, expression grim.

“How did he-”

Seungkwan melted into Mingyu’s chest, “Well, you know how I said we were going to a cafe together? He had a free morning today, so he asked if I wanted to go today, and obviously I said yes…”

Seungkwan flushed as Soobin crowded him against the wall, one hand by his head, caging Seungkwan in.

“Bin-ah, what?-”

On the way back from the cafe, Soobin had casually interlaced their hands, and Seungkwan had spent way too much time trying not to think about how much bigger Soobin’s hands were compared to his. The second they had reached the company, Soobin pulled Seungkwan into a practice room at the end of the hallway, closing the door tightly behind them.

“Hyung,” Soobin breathed, “Did you really mean it when you said you wanted to kiss me?”

His eyes shimmered, plump lower lip jutting out into a pout. Seungkwan really wanted to bite it. Soobin’s hand cupped his cheek, tilting his face up and–

Soobin pressed his lips to Seungkwan’s cheek for a few seconds, before pulling away with a giggle.

“I’m not going to make it that easy for you, hyung.”

“Wh-what?” Seungkwan said stupidly.

“I know what you and Mingyu-hyung are up to,” Soobin’s eyes curved as he smiled, “I think it’s pretty funny, you two are so obvious.”

“It’s not like that Soobinie, I’m sorry if it came off as callous-”

“Hyung. Do you really think I’d be doing this-” Soobin gestured to the wall, then himself, then Seungkwan, “-if I was genuinely hurt?”

“No?”

Soobin smirked, amused, “Honestly, I’m flattered. Having two members of SEVENTEEN fawning over me? I think hundreds of people would kill to be in my place.”

He leaned closer, one hand falling on Seungkwan’s waist and squeezing gently. Seungkwan let out a strangled gasp. Soobin was so hot, a smug smile on his face as he pressed Seungkwan against the wall.

“It’s cute how desperate you both are for my attention,” Soobin’s voice was low, velvety– creeping up Seungkwan’s spine and coating his skin in a delicious haze of lust.

“It really makes me want to force you to beg for it,” He murmured.

Soobin was so close, the tip of his nose brushing Seungkwan’s. Seungkwan let his eyes flutter shut, overwhelmed by the feeling of Soobin’s body against his, how big the younger was, towering over him–

Soobin pulled away abruptly as the door of the practice room slammed open.

“Soobin-hyung, we have dance practice in five minutes and I find you bothering Seungkwan-hyung in some random practice room?” Beomgyu yelled. Seungkwan noted that the boy looked a bit like an angry puppy.

“Seriously, Yeonjun-hyung looks like he could light something on fire with his gaze right now!”

“Sorry, Gyu,” Soobin apologized sheepishly, “I’ll come, I’ll come, no need to growl at me.”

“Hurry up! And get it together!” Beomgyu said, glancing pointedly at Seungkwan, who stood frozen and dazed against the wall.

He turned, closing the door behind him and storming off, presumably to notify his bandmates that he had found their leader.

“Sorry about that, hyung,” Soobin ran a hand through his hair absentmindedly.

“It’s fine, Bin-ah, go to your practice. Don’t be late, I know Yeonjun-ssi can be really strict,” Seungkwan replied.

Soobin smiled, “He definitely can. I’ll see you later!”

As the door closed behind Soobin, Seungkwan finally detached himself from the wall, standing still in shock. He brought a hand up to his cheek. What the hell just happened?

“Huh,” Mingyu hummed, wrapping his hand around Seungkwan’s wrist to stop him from tugging at his hair, “I guess we weren’t exactly trying to be subtle…”

“I know, but what if we made him uncomfortable? I don’t want to lose whatever it is we have with him because of a stupid bet we made,” Seungkwan kicked his legs in frustration.

Cute, Mingyu thought.

“We? I’m flattered that you’re finally including me in the equation, Seungkwannie~” Mingyu said sweetly.

Seungkwan slapped his bicep, “Shut up and focus!”

“Hey, it’s going to be okay,” Mingyu said, “Do you really think he would’ve continued teasing us if he knew about our bet?”

“Still, he could be feeling pressured,” Seungkwan stared up at Mingyu, “Maybe he doesn’t want to upset his seniors by rejecting them.”

“You worry too much, it’s cute. He probably just wants to make sure we’re really into him, do you think he’d corner you against a wall if he was feeling forced?”

Seungkwan flushed, “I guess not…”

“Exactly,” Mingyu nodded, “So we just have to do what he wants us to. Show him that we do want his attention.”

Seungkwan groaned, “How could we possibly do that, though? I feel like courting him with chocolates and bouquets of roses might cause all the nosy staff to start gossiping.”

Mingyu cupped Seungkwan’s cheek, turning the younger’s face towards him with a smile.

“Well, why don’t we do what we do best?”

“So actually, hyung, I don’t think he’s gonna be into us if we act like complete pathetic losers in front of him.”

“Yah, you brat, I meant that we should tease him back!”

₊˚🐰🍊🐶⊹

They enacted their plan a week later. Mingyu was forced to beg Jihoon to figure out when TXT had recordings (to which the elder raised an eyebrow and Mingyu had to promise that he was not going to kidnap anyone), and Seungkwan was ready to grab Soobin the second he was done.

Mingyu was sprawled on the couch of SEVENTEEN’s studio, lazily scrolling through his phone, when the door swung open. Seungkwan dragged in a very confused-looking Soobin by the wrist.

“Hey, Soobin-ah,” Mingyu stood from the couch.

“Hyungs?” Soobin tilted his head cutely. His eyes were wide with curiosity, lips in a cute pout. If Soobin looked this edible while he was confused, Mingyu hoped that he never figured anything out.

“So, Soobinie,” Seungkwan winked at Mingyu from behind Soobin, wrapping his arms around the younger’s waist.

Mingyu noticed how Soobin immediately flinched slightly, squirming in Seungkwan’s grip.

“You said something about making us beg?” Seungkwan rested his chin on Soobin’s shoulder.

Soobin’s eyes widened, “I’m sorry if it made you uncomfortable, hyungs, I thought you were just joking about wanting to kiss me–”

“Oh, no,” Mingyu leaned towards him, “I think you got the wrong impression, Soobin. Of course we want to kiss you.”

“Imagine how we felt when you turned both of us down,” Seungkwan frowned playfully, blowing lightly against Soobin’s ear and making him flush.

Mingyu reached out, holding Soobin’s chin firmly, “So bratty, Soobin-ah. You know you’re pretty, don’t you? Liked having hyungs’ attention?”

Soobin’s eyes were wide, refusing to focus on Mingyu in front of him. He was pretty like this, blushing pink in embarrassment. He looked so soft, Mingyu wanted to bite him.

“Hm? Don’t be rude, baby,” Seungkwan teased, “Give us an answer.”

Mingyu gently tilted Soobin’s face towards him, “Hey, if you don’t want this, just tell us. We’ll stop.”

“No, it’s not that I don’t want it,” Soobin panicked, “I just didn’t expect you to actually-”

“Us falling over our feet to talk to you wasn’t enough?” Seungkwan giggled.

“Bin-ah, you’re smart and observant, you didn’t think me spending my free time looking you up was a sign that I liked you?” Mingyu tilted his head.

“I thought-” Soobin broke off into a strangled gasp when Seungkwan pressed his lips to his neck.

“Don’t doubt yourself so much, pretty,” Mingyu’s voice dropped to a whisper.

“I wasn’t sure if you guys actually wanted me, or if you just thought I was cute and-”

“Soobinie,” Seungkwan said firmly, “No more self-deprecation.”

Mingyu nodded, staring into Soobin’s eyes, which were beginning to glaze over, “We do want you, so badly that we don’t know what to do with ourselves sometimes.”

Seungkwan grinned against Soobin’s skin, causing the younger to whine, “You really don’t know how alluring you are, Binnie. People stare everywhere you go.”

“But we’re the only ones who get to have you like this, huh?” Mingyu smirked.

“Mmf- Yes, I promise, I promise you’re the only ones,” Soobin gasped, lips parting in invitation.

Mingyu trailed his hands up Soobin’s neck, pinching his ear and causing him to whimper, “Is this okay?”

“Yes, yes it’s fine, please, just-” Soobin was cut off as Mingyu finally kissed him.

Kissing Soobin was a dream– he tasted faintly of vanilla lip balm and something honey-like that made Mingyu want to keep kissing him forever. Soobin twitched and gasped into his mouth as Seungkwan continued his ministrations on the youngest’s neck. Mingyu nipped at Soobin’s plump bottom lip, causing him to let out a whine. His hand reached down, gripping at Soobin’s unfairly small waist.

They somehow ended up on the small couch in the studio, lazily trading kisses among the three of them, Soobin across Mingyu and Seungkwan’s laps. Soobin was just so sensitive, and Mingyu was kind of in love with the way he flinched and whimpered and took everything they gave him without complaint.

Soobin was pretty all the time, but he looked absolutely heavenly like this, hair tousled, spots of red blooming on his collarbone, lips swollen and eyes slightly teary. Mingyu wanted to keep him like this forever.

Much later, when they were all tired and collapsed into an impromptu cuddle pile on the couch and Seungkwan had shot a message in the SEVENTEEN group chat to not enter the studio (which was received with an assault of teasing replies), Mingyu shot straight up with a gasp.

“What is it?” Soobin murmured from where he had been cuddled into Mingyu’s lap.

“I kissed him first! I won!” Mingyu yelled.

Seungkwan and Soobin groaned.
