DAYLIGHT announces comeback on February with EP ‘My First and Last’
DAYLIGHT is set to make everyone fall for them during the month of love with their fifth EP!
On January 30, DRM Entertainment announced that DAYLIGHT will be releasing their fourth EP “My First and Last” on February 14. Led by the title track of the same name, the mini album will carry five side-B tracks.
According to DRM Entertainment, the EP tells a story of a first love and the turbulent journey for that same love to become a person’s last.
Moreover, DAYLIGHT will embark on its second world tour, “Beautiful Time,” this year. The tour kicks off in Seoul with two concerts starting March 30. Tour dates in America and Europe are then spread through April to May. More countries will be announced, as stated by DRM Entertainment.
A Quick Look at DAYLIGHT
KPop sensational boy group DAYLIGHT debuted five years ago with members Renjun, Haechan, and Chenle. Their debut EP and title track ‘Hello Future’ was released on August 13, 2019 which charted as high as #3 and received praise from multiple critics. With a refreshing and youthful sound, DAYLIGHT managed to speedily capture the hearts of fangirls, fanboys, and eventually, the Korean GP. Group leader Renjun stated on their live broadcast in Instagram on New Year’s Eve that their goal this year is to meet more Lunas—the group’s fandom name—from other countries through their world tour.
Na Jaemin announced as Special MC for SBS 'Inkigayo' on 17th February
Actor Na Jaemin will be the special MC of “Inkigayo” on its February 17 show!
On February 12, Na Jaemin’s agency NCT Entertainment confirmed that he is participating in the weekly music show as a special MC on February 17. He will be co-hosting with aenergy’s Giselle who has been the regular MC since October 2023. While Lucky 13’s Mingyu stepped down from his role on February 3 after 7 months of being an MC of the show.
Na Jaemin made his debut as an actor eight years ago in the 2016 web series “Method to Hate You.” He first gained recognition with the 2020 film “UNKNOWN,” and landed his first lead role in the 2021 hit drama “My Page.”
He won a Best Actor Award at the 2021 SBS Drama Awards for his performance in the drama, the first of his many accolades since then.
“Inkigayo” airs every Sunday at 3:20 p.m. KST on SBS.

Na Jaemin confirmed to star in DAYLIGHT’s ‘To My First’ MV
Actor Na Jaemin will be starring in DAYLIGHT’s special music video for “To My First.”
DAYLIGHT and Na Jaemin’s agencies, DRM Entertainment and NCT Entertainment respectively, responded to the rumors this morning, and confirmed the actor’s involvement in the music video.
On February 14, DAYLIGHT released their fifth EP “My First and Last” with the title track being the same name. The EP was hotly received by fans with the title track charting #1 for two consecutive weeks and garnering 7 music show wins. However, it was closely followed by B-side “To My First” which peaked at #2 for a week. Due to this success, the group announced on March 12 that they will be releasing a special MV for the highly loved track.
Meanwhile, according to a close source from NCT Entertainment, Na Jaemin finished filming for the music video earlier this month before flying to France on March 10 to start filming for his new movie "Graduation."
DAYLIGHT will be releasing the special MV for “To My First” on March 20 at 1 p.m. KST.

Since Seo Jisoo is a professional boxer, I needed to gain weight and build my body more. I started eating more—which I enjoyed very much, haha. I’ve been eating hotpot for the past week. I also continued my boxing lessons since I enjoyed those, too. But my biggest preparation would be studying Seo Jisoo’s character, and how I can give life to him so that the viewers will understand him like how I did.

[BREAKING] Dispatch reveals photos of multi-awarded actor and popular idol on multiple dates
Dispatch has released photos revealing DAYLIGHT’s Renjun and Actor Na Jaemin on dates as early as March this year.
The two were first spotted in a hotpot restaurant on March 9, 2024. In the same month, Renjun’s group, DAYLIGHT, collaborated with Na Jaemin for the special MV of track “To My First.”
In May 2024, a source sent Dispatch photos of the two strolling around Paris. The actor was there for the filming of his movie while the idol was on the European leg of their world tour. They seem to have seized the opportunity to see each other while being in the same country.
Finally, just last night, the two were caught outside of a convenience store eating ice cream. Both quickly went back to Na Jaemin’s car which dropped Renjun at the idol’s apartment building before going home.
Currently, both DRM Entertainment and NCT Entertainment have yet to release an official statement on the relationship between the two.
OUTTAKE:
The hallways of the SBS building are bustling with activity as the filming for the music show carries on the whole day. Idols and their staff alike are flurrying to prepare for the formers' performance. While some who are done with theirs are finally free to laze around until they're called for the show's winner announcement and end.
Renjun is thankful they're one of the groups who had one of the early slots for recording. They're already up at 3 in the morning, being whisked away by their manager to be on their way to the studio's building.
He can't help but yawn as the day's exhaustion starts to settle in his bones. He's delightfully lying down on the small couch of their assigned room when his bandmates, Haechan and Chenle, suddenly complain about being hungry. The problem of who will buy food was easily solved through their long proven and tested method: rock, paper, scissors. And, just like the last dozen times or so, Renjun expectedly lost.
Really, he should have expected it the moment the two eagerly grinned at each other and did the starting chant. Renjun frowned harder as he climbed up the stairs to the building's cafeteria. He's rounding up the corner when a pair of long legs clothed in dark washed jeans entered his view.
Renjun looks up, a formal greeting ready on his lips, when a pair of dark brown eyes makes him stop in his tracks.
Oh, Renjun thinks to himself the longer he holds eye contact and as the entirety of the man's face fills his view. He's beautiful.
“Hello,” the man greets formally, posture becoming straight from his slouch against the wall.
Renjun greets and bows in return, eyes coming back to the man's as if there's something about it that commands him to not look away. It's not just his insanely beautiful features, Renjun thinks further, his face is also familiar.
“You are... Reonjeon-ssi?” The mispronunciation of his name wakes Renjun up from his daze.
“Renjun,” he can't help but frown even if he thinks it was a genuine mistake.
“Ahh, I'm sorry.”
Huh... maybe a not so genuine mistake. Renjun's eyes squint at the small playful tug at the corner of the man's lips. Seeing a glimpse of that smirk finally made something click in Renjun's mind.
“You're Na Jaeman?” Renjun says, on purpose.
The acclaimed actor doesn't seem to be bothered by Renjun's vindictive streak. Renjun even sees another glimpse of that forcefully hidden grin playing on his lips.
“Yes, that's me.”
Renjun blows a sigh, suddenly feeling more tired than ever.
“It was nice to meet you. I'll be going now.”
“Where are you going?”
Renjun blinks out the surprise on his face as he turns to face the actor again.
“The cafeteria?” Renjun reluctantly answers. “I have to buy sandwiches.”
“Oh, sadly they've run out since lunch.” Na Jaemin winces.
Renjun frowns, “Really?”
The actor nods, looking genuinely apologetic. “It's true. In fact, I just bought the last one.” He raises a hand holding a cleanly wrapped sandwich, looking innocuously similar to the ones he had in the past. “You can have this one.”
“No, it’s fine —”
“I insist. And consider it as my apology for getting your name wrong.”
“You really don’t have to do that,” he sees the retort at the actor’s lips, and Renjun gives in just to end the awkward conversation. “But thank you.”
He holds out his hand to receive the sandwich, their hands briefly brushing against each other as Na Jaemin gives him his prized sandwich. At the corner of his eye, he sees the actor freeze.
He looks back at the hallway, ready to say goodbye, but Na Jaemin stands in front of him, blocking his way. Although, he doesn’t say anything, eyes only moving to alternate between Renjun and the sandwich in his hands.
“Aren’t you going to eat it?” he finally voices out.
It’s supposed to be for his bandmates, but throughout the walk and this weirdly weighty interaction with the actor, Renjun feels his stomach grumble in hunger.
“Well, okay.” Whatever. Haechan and Chenle should learn to get their own food.
He opens the wrapper and sees a glimpse of the sandwich that is way too filled to be the standard sandwich the Inkigayo cafeteria is selling. One bite is all he needs to confirm. The sandwich is fresh and beyond delicious compared to the reheated ones being sold in the building.
The taste of strawberry jam is also mysteriously missing.
“Are you sure you bought this here?”
Na Jaemin pauses, and at Renjun’s narrowed eyes, confirms his suspicions. “No. I made it.”
“You did? Then you shouldn’t have given it to me!”
“No, it’s fine. I wasn’t feeling hungry, anyway. You should eat it since you’ve been here since dawn.”
“How did you know that? Wait, you’re today’s special MC, of course, you’d have access to today’s schedule. Anyway, what time did you arrive here, anyway?”
Their conversation becomes a back-and-forth on who’s more worthy to eat the Na Jaemin-made sandwich while Renjun is unknowingly finishing the said sandwich in quick bites. He notices the way the actor still keeps on glancing on the sandwich, and at some points, on Renjun’s lips as he bites and chews.
“Do you want a bite?” Renjun offers when Na Jaemin’s eyes on his lips last a bit longer.
“Nope.” He swallows. “Didn't you feel anything weird with the sandwich? Like...paper?”
“Huh? Is there another wrapper here?”
“No, no.” He sighs and mumbles to himself, “Why isn’t it there? That’s impossible.” Another sigh. “I might've exchanged it with manager noona’s.”
“Uhm, excuse me, but what are you talking about?”
Na Jaemin can’t look at his eyes all of a sudden. His cheeks are a bit flushed, and he keeps biting his lips, smearing a bit of gloss under his lower lip.
“Don’t you know the story about Inkigayo sandwiches?” Renjun shakes his head which seems to make the actor blush harder.
“I’ve been told idols exchange numbers by slipping a piece of paper inside the sandwich,” Na Jaemin explains with a pout while rubbing the tip of his straight nose.
“Isn’t that unhygienic?” Renjun says with a grimace, then: “Wait, you want me to give you my number? You should’ve just asked me!”
Na Jaemin looks up with a groan. And then, after seemingly recalibrating himself, looks directly at Renjun’s eyes again.
“I don’t want just your number,” he says, dropping all his pretenses. “I want to take you out on a date, Renjun.”
Renjun’s jaw goes slack as the only thing he can reply to that was a small and breathless, “Oh.”
It’s not that it’s Renjun’s first time to be asked out by someone in the same industry or by a famous personality who’s a household name just like him. He’s received offers over the years, some more upfront while the others are more implicit in their interest.
Early on, his answer was, “I'm not allowed by my company to date yet.” And when his dating ban was lifted, it became, “it's not my priority at the moment.” As of recently, his auto-response was, “I’m afraid I won’t be able to put in the same effort to make the relationship work.”
But something in him holds the countlessly repeated line. The same gut feeling tells him that if he missed this moment, this chance, he will lose something more than what he thinks is a simple date with a famous actor.
“You said you made this?” Jaemin blinks at his question with a confused expression. “Can you teach me how you made this?”
The actor only continues to give him a questioning look.
Renjun bites back his grin with a tired sigh. “Teach me how to make this, and while you're at it, make me another one. I'll be there so I can make sure it'll have your phone number this time.”
“Oh… oh!” Renjun watches as the confusion turns to surprise and disbelief. “Alright,” Na Jaemin nods to himself as the implication sinks in. “I promise not to mess up this time.”
“You better make sure of that,” Renjun narrows his eyes, yet there's a fond smile playing on his lips.
Jaemin eagerly grins, a strange knowing look on his face as he answers determinedly.
“I’ve never been more sure of anything.”
And the rest, as they say, is history.
