today is finally the day, i completely worked up the courage! , Teruhashi thinks to herself cheerfully as she makes her way down to Saiki's residence. men begin to gawk at her undeniable beauty as she glows from excitement, each wondering what has her so happy today. of course, she pays them no mind to not seem cocky or any less of a perfect girl.
it's not anything romantic I'm just simply asking a friend out to go watch a movie, it's not like a date or anything!!, Teruhashi tried to convince herself in her head; her face heated up as her overthinking continued on the way there. i mean Saiki will obviously know its not a date, right? he would absolutely burst at the thought of a date with someone like me. she then pictured a wimpy version of Saiki literally exploding out of joy. she then walked back and forth outside his door contemplating the things that could happen on the date like Saiki saying oh wow a hundred times or even better, him asking her to be his wife.
NO! i mustn't think of stuff like that after all its just a FRIEND'S hangout! teruhashi finally convinced herself and stood Infront of the door proud and tall, she took a deep breath before knocking on the door and patiently waiting with a bag of coffee jelly in her hand. her heart races as she waits for Saiki to answer.
she froze when she saw a familiar cunty gyaru answering the door.
"ohh hey Terukoko !!" Aiura exclaimed, she looked quite calm and happy. the complete opposite of Teruhashi's loud and scrambled emotions.
what is Miko Chan doing here oh my god are they together?? like dating? or maybe they are just hanging out as friends as well, of course I shouldn't worry me, and Saiki are just friends too but i never been alone in his house. maybe i should bluntly ask but that would ruin my perfect image because I shouldn't care for someone like him. teruhashi thought to herself. "Um hey aiura I wasn't expecting you here haha" teruhashi replied trying to stay as composed as possible. this would be a smooth transition to asking what she is doing here so i should just come out and say it!
"Miko chan why are you h-" teruhashi began to say before getting cut off by Aiura's curiosity, "hey babes what's that in your hands? did you bring snacks?" . as aiura began to reach for teruhashis perfectly set bag, teruhashi immediately snatches it away from her grasp, laughing awkwardly. "oh I'm sorry its not snacks its actually garbage i meant to throw away soon!" teruhashi quickly excused as her mind scrambled even more.
OH MY GOD if she looked inside, she would know I brung wrapped up gifts for Saiki and would obviously assume i have a fat crush on him but i cant like an average boy like him, once she told people everyone would immediately try to fight him for my love its unacceptable!
aiura paid no attention to teruhashis distress with the whole situation and tried to act as dumbfounded as possible with her behavior, fully aware of teruhashis crush on Saiki from her crystal ball fortune teller. she actually was trying to contain herself from laughing at Teruhashi's complete confusion to the situation.
"so why did you decide to stop by?" aiura asked, knowing that teruhashi would immediately back out from her blunt question. teruhashi began to stutter. HOW IS SHE ASKING ME THAT QUESTION WHEN I SHOULD BE ASKING HER THE SAME THING?, teruhashi thought, and why is she in such comfortable clothing what is going on here?
"uhm i was just walking by and wanted to say hi on my way to uhmm" teruhashi quickly pondered what would be a good excuse instead of saying she wanted to hang out with Saiki. "With trash in your hands? were you going to ask him to take it out or something?" aiura questioned "that's funny as hell, hes like your personal trash dude?" which teruhashi quickly responded "don't refer to him like that!".
"huh? what, do you care a lot about him or something? i was only joking." aiura teased which made teruhashi short circuit. anything she further said would make it seem like she did indeed like him and the last thing she wanted was to ruin her perfect image and say something bad about him which makes her a typical perfect girl whose deeply mean. teruhashi tried to respond "uhmm.. i.. well you know- just tell him that i came by and need to talk to him!" teruhashi yelled before quickly running away to avoid any more confrontation.
aiura waited till she walked away before bursting into laughter. omg you should've seen the embarrassment on her face!, aiura thought. but she wasnt exactly speaking to herself.
"you almost gave her a heart attack, it would've been better if i just self-restored and talked to her myself" Saiki responded in her mind, however aiura could still hear the annoyance in his voice "even if i had to agree to hang out"
unfortunately, saiki had a bit of alarming marks on him that would've made teruhashi question more.
