It started with a well-meaning joke. TK wasn't surprised, this was an uncomfortable situation and Carlos default mode in this cases was to deflect. But sometimes enough was enough, and TK had reached his limit.
“Excuse me?” TK's tone was dangerous calm “I shouldn't have to ask about your marital status, it was your responsibility to be honest with me. Since the moment we decided to live together, even – engagement or not. You said you wanted all my pieces, but you were the one hiding things”
Carlos eyes widened “ TK, I –“
