TK met Kelly Severide, his actual lieutenant, the day he had been assigned to his dad’s station. One thing leading to another, they went for a night date and they may have kissed that night.
But, everyone was fine.
They were in a symbiotic relationship, at least at the beginning. But the routine, the pressure of their profession, everything had led to this cursed day.

Everything happened so fast. He was on a road, on a by road. He was supposed to be at home in less than twenty minutes. Carlos was waiting for him, and he was excited to spend a night with his lover, without anyone else to disturb them.
But, nothing could be wonderful in TK’s life. And, he should have known that something was going to hapenned when he saw something coming straight to him.
He saw another car appear in front of him, headlights. He tried to hit the break but it was too late. He couldn’t do anything apart from trying to avoid it. Unluckily, the second car hit the side of the blue Camaro, sending it right into the roadside.
The sound was sharp.
The impact was brutal.

Summary
It is stupid of Nico to even give Lewis the chance to notice.
The hot water kettle is just a bit too heavy at breakfast one morning and Nico loses his grip. Lewis is next to him at the buffet table of the hotel and catches it out of reflex; Nico knows better than to think it’s kindness. He stares at where Nico’s fingers are still refusing to cooperate.
"What happened to your hand?"
"Nerves" - Nico answers with a shrug, glad for the double meaning in the English phrasing.

Summary
'When Lewis goes to Valtteri’s driver’s room and finds out about hanahaki disease he has a lot of mixed emotions. Shock, concern, eventual happiness for his teammate when he brings Sebastian and Kimi to him and everything works out perfectly in the end.
As soon as he started thinking about it more thoroughly, about how common it might be, whether anyone else he knew could have had it, that’s when the feelings started to get even more complicated. Like pretty much always in Lewis’ life when things are feeling complicated, it all seems to be centred around Nico.
