The Rebel residing in me
It’s been a long road, getting from the very small fearless child I was back then, an infant not knowing any better while fending off big size tigers and then, getting to this moment, where I feel no torment of being whom I have become, on this journey oh so very long.
It was no easy road to travel, I give it that much, alas as such, I don’t really think it could have gone any different, and yet, there are things I would have wanted to have gone quite differently, still, none too many regrets do exist, having finally been able to accept life’s inevitable change.
One of the highlights in my so far long life having definitely been all those good friends gained, as despite the war, the clones were everything, not to mention all those other souls come and gone, some thankfully still remaining, but I do honour them all, celebrating those still around.
Guess the one thing which really stuck to me the most, no matter Jedi or not, is the little Rebel child so wild, the one who was always and forever present, never willing to relent, never giving up even if I myself was about to do just that, but she kept me going, joining those in the fight against an oppressive regime oh so very vile.
Now, in this present of mine, we all still need to remain vigil to keep those elements at bay, but as I have decided to stay with these very same friends and yes, my family too, the one I am a part of, all of us always rebelling against those oppressive elements with gusto, but never neglecting to love and care for those around, as we are me and my family found.
