Summary
The story of Davos Blackwood and Aeron Bracken was written in the waters of the Red Fork river. Every word was a pebble on the riverbed, every action collecting like dark silt beneath them, every drop of blood washed away as if it had never been shed - as if they had never existed at all.
And yet, they had existed, two souls drawn to the river’s water again and again until their veins were filled with water and the river was filled with their blood.
