Summary
Danielle was a neurodivergent, transgender college girl who just wanted to live life without being seen. During her first year at a prestigious university in Queens, she befriends Gwen Stacy: a confident, yet mysterious, woman with a major secret. As they start to realize their true feelings for each other, all hell breaks loose. When Danielle gets bit by a genetically modified spider, intense changes start to happen. Incredible bouts of pain start to take over her life. Wanting the pain to stop, she reaches out for help from the only person who's like her. What she doesn't know? Who Spider-Woman really is, and what exactly the job entails.
This fic is only slightly more graphic than all the Spider-Man movies (apart from the *Optional* sex scenes) so if you were good with the movies, you'll be good with this. I personally don't do well with gore, so the it's *very* minimal. The most extreme it gets is just the descriptions of environments after a fight with blood in certain places.
No, the "Major Character Death" tag is not for Gwen, in case that was a worry for anyone.
