“We’ve talked about adopting a baby, right?” he whispered. “This could be practice.”
Ian raised an eyebrow, not sure whether to laugh or take the suggestion seriously. “You wanna treat Mickey like a baby?”
“Why not?” Trevor said with a grin. “He’s practically whimpering right now. Look at him.”
Sure enough, Mickey had closed his eyes, a soft, almost pathetic sound escaping his lips as he shifted on the couch. Ian stifled a laugh, turning back to Trevor. “He won’t remember any of this in the morning.”
