   Summary

   Elliot had heard of a man bearing the robes of light, wrapped from head to toe like a mummy and felt his heart quiver. There was a pull in that moment to the person, to see who had caught the attention of his god, to see who was the new chosen avatar.

   Marc hadn’t known that Khonshu had taken an avatar before him. He supposed in the back of his shared mind that it was a fact but he never expected to see them in this lifetime.

   Or

   In a universe where the bounds of being a servant to a god can be loosely defied two men meet after being avatars.
