Hearing her cry did something to Ghost, something he has never been able to get over. The sound of her fighting the tears back, that sound, that pain, that hurt despite Roach’s attempt to console her. That burning desire to chase after the filth and beat it to a pulp despite watching Roach safely usher Lia to the car with his jacket around her shoulders.
Ps. Nobody else dies in this fic, promise. Roach is however deceased and some memories of his protective nature and last words are revisited.
