Plexa finally calmed down. Three hours later. She came back to her lab which looked chaotic. She sighed a little and started picking up the mess. Her ‘#1 scientist’ mug was now in a million little pieces. It was the only thing she had kept when she quit her old job. “That was my favorite mug,” she lamented.
Plexa didn’t miss her old job as a scientist. Why would she? They had laughed her out of the room when she suggested that there were multiple dimensions. She was glad to be out of that godforsaken place.
As she was sweeping, the ball caught her eye. It had fallen when she was trashing her lab. She picked it up and made her way towards the box where all her other failed inventions had gone. She was crestfallen. She thought that little ball would finally be the thing that would bring about Moon Girl’s downfall.
“Better luck next time little guy.” She was just about to drop the ball when it started making a rapid beeping noise.
Plexa covered her ears which caused her to drop the ball. “What the hell is going on?” She yelled. The viewer hit the ground and projected an image of her earth with a description that said Earth 15, aka “Earth prime”. She lowered her hands and looked on in confusion.
“Earth prime?” Plexa was confused. She had scoured the viewer, and she had never seen an ‘earth prime.’ It displayed a variety of info about the dimension. The thing that caught the woman's eye was the piece of information that read “Home of the Moon Girl that all other Moon Girls come from.”
This perplexed Plexa. What did that mean? Then it hit her. If there were multiple dimensions of moon girl, it would only make sense for there to be an original moon girl on which all other moon girls are based upon.
This information made Plexa giddy. “If I can somehow find a way to erase the original moon girl from existence, all moon girls will follow suit and I’ll finally be able to take over the multiverse without interference.” she finished clapping her hands and giggling. “Perhaps you’re not a failure after all!” she said to the little ball but also to herself.
“I got you now Moon Girl.” she said menacingly. And with that she got to work on the thing that would end Moon Girl. Once and for all.
