Work Text:

“Pokey, what are you doing?”

Ted turned around to find a goat glaring at McNamara, who was dripping blue goop.

“Tinky it’s my apocalypse! Your not supposed to interfere! Wiggly said so!”

“And Ted is mine! It’s bad enough that you got Pete cub and homeless Ted! He’s mine!”

The goat began to stomp his feet.

What’s going on?

Ted was absurdly reminded of Pete when he was younger and got upset.

“He doesn’t belong to you Tinky.”

That only made the goat stomp his feet harder.

“Yes he does! If you take him to, I’ll take your precious Paul!”

Wait what does he want with Paul?

The zombie charged the goat, growling.

“Don’t you dare!”

You know normally I’d like people fighting over me, but when it’s a goat and a zombie.

Despite this, he felt something stirring in his chest, a feeling he’d long forgotten about. The goat hit the zombie, sending it flying.

“Tinky this is ridiculous! You have plenty of Teds, you can go without two of them.”

The goat bleated.

“This one’s special!”

The zombie rolled its eyes.

“You say that about every Ted, and wouldn’t he be more special infected?”

What the hell am I watching?

“Every Ted is special! And he wouldn’t be special if I put infected him in there, he’d just infect the others and ruin it!”

The goat lashed out, and Ted and Pokey were sent flying, Ted screamed raising his arms instinctively suddenly himself surrounded by glowing yellow bubble.

I need to get out of here.

He turned around, trying to run away only for the bubble to remain firmly in place.

Oh come on!

He hit the bubble, trying to damage it, only but it didn’t even bend.

“Your not going anywhere Teddy Bear.”

Tinky told him, before turning back to the Pokey, cackling.

“I’ve been wanting to do this for years, no Wiggly to interfere because were being to loud.”

Pokey swelled, more goop dripping out of him, a twisted grin on his face.

“Me to.”

Ted backed away to the other end of the as the two clashed sending the bubble bouncing away.

Oh so it can move when they’re fighting but not when I want to escape?

“Why do you even need Ted to stay? He won’t even disrupt your singular voice, he won’t even be there.”

Tinky lashed out, sending Pokey flying, Ted’s bubble also went flying, hitting the wall.

“You have no sense of narrative! He needs to be there to impact Paul in the final confrontation!”

Ted didn’t know a goat could roll his eyes, but that was clearly what it did.

“Does he really need Ted for that? I’m sure you have plenty of options.”

Pokey hesitated.

“Well, no, I had to fill in the others with Emma’s boss and Professor Hidgens.”

Tinky snorted.

“That’s your pet? He’s so pathetic!”

Pokey glowered at him.

“Your one to talk, yours is Ted!”

“Hey!”

Both Ted and Tinky protested.

“My Teddy bear is more special then your Paul ever will be.”

Thanks, I guess?

The goat stamped its foot again, this time a crack appearing in the sidewalk, spreading to Pokey, who dodged out of the way.

“Yet with you it’s always the same Ted, and you never let us try and change him, your like Wiggly, you always hog all the fun toys.”

There’s more than these two?

“Of course he can’t be shared around, that would make him less special!”

This has got to be the weirdest fight I’ve ever seen.

Another blast of energy, the last windows had been shattered, cracks began to appear in the buildings.

“Enough!”

Pokey reached out, grabbing Tinky growling.

“I will not have you destroying my apotheosis. We’re taking this back to the Black and White.”

Tinky cackled as he grabbed the bubble, as they were pulled forward and everything went black.

“And another thing!”

Ted woke up to find himself in an entirely black room, Pokey shouting.

“WOULD YOU TWO SHUT UP?”

Ted flinched at the sound of loud high pitched voice.

“Wiggly-.”

“Brother, he tried to ruin my apotheosis.”

A set of glowing green eyes floated toward them, malice flowing off of him.

“I thought I told all of you to be quiet when I’m having alone timey with Wiley!”

Pokey pointed at Tinky.

“He started it!”

Ted glanced around nervously, deciding to slowly back away, to see if he could escape these even more monstrous beings.

“But he was the one who tried to steal my Teddy Bear! He knows that my Teddy Bears belong to me!”

Ted continued to back away, glancing around.

“I don’t care, you two are far too loud, so stop it.”

The being pointed at the goat.

“Don’t interfere with your bwothers apocalypse, you have that Ted, so stop it.”

The goat continued to pout, but at least looked happier? He wasn’t sure if that was the right word, but it was happiness with quite a lot malice mixed in.

“Pokey, go back to your apotheosis.”

Pokey crossed its arms, glaring at Tinky.

“I still need Ted for my finale.”

Tinky stuck its tongue out at him.

“And I need all of my Teddy Bears, you already have homeless him, why not freshen him up?”

What is with this thing and his obsession with me? Also what do you mean homeless me?

“It’ll be far too different and you know that!”

He turned around as he ran into something, seeing a man with messy black hair, and bright green eyes, a wide green on his face.

“Hello naughty list, I was was wondering what the commotion was about.”

He took a step back, as the man looked him up and down, his grin spreading.

“Who are you?”

“Wiley and you-.”

He took a step closer Ted took another step back.

“Are very special.”

“Fine! I’ll let it go, but you both owe me!”

Pokey stormed away, Ted just barely managing to get out of his way, the goat and the being turned their attention to him. Looking closer at it he saw that the thing was an octopus like creature.

“Tinky, your pet needs to go in your box, humans don’t belong here.”

The octopus thing glares at him, and Ted felt himself wilt, taking a step backward.

“Yes he does i made him more, and if he doesn’t belong her, then I’m putting Wiley in my toy box to.”

Tinky crossed his arms pouting. Ted glanced at Wiley, wondering what he felt about this, but his expression was neutral.

“That's different! Ted is just your toy!”

Tinky stepped in front of him.

“Well you certainly treat Wiley like your toy! This one’s extra special, so he’s not going in the box!”

Ted was picked up, squeaking as Tinky tightened his grip on him.

“I’m keeping him here!”

And with that he was carried away as Tinky stormed off.

***
He flinched away as Tinky set him down a wide grin on his face.

“Oh Teddy Bear, we’re going to have so much fun together! I’ve never kept a Teddy Bear outside of the box.”

He tried to back away as Tinky began to shrink and change into a more human looking form, even if something still seemed off, and he grabbed his arm, his grip crushing.

“Now your here with me forever.”
