Summary
In the present, Alec and Jace find themselves on a hunt that quickly becomes more than they can handle. Trapped together with no escape from their feelings, they are forced to confront unresolved issues in their strained relationship.
In the past, Jace is determined to prove his worth to Alec despite his tendency to self-sabotage. Alec grapples with his fears of loving Jace--and doubts of Jace's ability to sincerely love him back. One night--or a course of moments--begins to change everything, but even their physical closeness can't ease the deeply engrained worries that start to come between them.
