Midoriya Izuku had always been a plain person that was still so far from plain simultaneously—tons of weird villain experience, along with surviving a literal war against the strongest villain in history all while being 16 years old. If you had told Middle School Izuku that he defeated the greatest villain of all time and had 500 thousand followers on twitter, he would probably cry.
"How on earth have you and Bakugou gathered that much followers? We made our socials two months ago!" Kaminari wailed, desperate for some attention on social media. Especially with the girls? Do you know how many hot girls would ring him u-
Well, it's not like Kaminari didn't have a good following, Midoriya and Bakugo plainly had more.
Izuku's focus was directed at Kaminari from the sudden remark, shutting his phone off. "Uh, I dunno. I just blew up." he awkwardly said in response, sliding his palm against the nape of his neck.
"You were freaking awesome out there in the battlefield! You totally deserve everything that's come to you." Kirishima said in awe, raising his fist up and clutching it in inspiration.
"I don't really wanna talk about the wa-"
"Deku!" Uraraka called out, walking up to her friend that was chilling on their common room's couch. Izuku turned to look at her, redirecting his attention on the brunette that was making her way towards him.
"We've only made our Socials two months ago, but have you seen the most trending topic on Japanese Twitter?" she continued with a cheeky grin, pulling out the phone which she spent every last of her pennies on. Izuku raised a brow, tilting his head in confusion.
"Wha-" Izuku attempted to respond, but was immediately cut off by Uraraka shoving her phone on his face. Man, he always gets cut off...

"Come on, two months and you're already trending! Way to go, Deku!" Uraraka remarked, raising her hand up for a high five but Izuku never really returned it. He stared blankly at the page, still confused as ever.
He skimmed through the following posts, looking for all of the important details. Katsudeku? What even was-

"Uh, Deku? You're... You're kind of red right now." Uraraka pointed out, as their other peers didn't seem to notice—being too busy with their own clout chasing shenanigans.
"Where'd they even get these conc-conclusions???" He made eye contact with Uraraka and whispered under his breath in a panic, the heat still remaining on his face. He looked at the tweet that was presented in front of him, before flicking his eyes at Katsuki who was cluelessly cooking in the kitchen. "This is number 1 on trending?" he commented out of pure horror with a hint of embarrassment, and the extremely smug look on Uraraka's face didn't help at all.
How? Like, how did people even come up with the bizzare idea of Katsudeku. Where, and why would they even lay hands on these impossible ideas? People are way too creative nowadays, so creative it actually creeps him out!
"Well, I guess people are into those pairings. These pairings are so impossible it's cute!" Uraraka innocently proclaimed, placing her free hand on her hip.
"What's the account? I just want to see. That's all."
"Really now? Okay. It's @katsudekuinvestigator. Good luck, they have quite a lot of posts on you guys. Toodles!" she fleed, walking away all giddy.
He watched as she basically skipped away to talk with Ashido and Hagakure, sighing with the new weird information he got about himself again. It's always him that's the victim, dammit!

"They actually have a pretty good following. How has somebody become this popular over- this?" Izuku muttered under his breath, his cheeks were painted as a vague pink.
Why were people researching about him and Kacchan anyway? There's nothing much that's intriguing—so what's got these people intrigued? Maybe it's because of their diverse dynamics? Their cliché "Enemies to Lovers" title of shame?
Perhaps he doesn't know how to feel about this. It's all just harmless, but can you imagine the look on Katsuki's face when he finds out about this bizzare account?
Or maybe this is just a weird social experiment to embarrass Izuku. Huh. Unlikely though. Or very likely, considering the people in this era.

"Where'd they even get these?" Izuku said to himself, keeping the old habit of talking to himself.
"Where'd they even get what?" An unexpected voice teased from behind him, the voice he wanted to hear the least right now at this very moment!
"WAHCCHAN!" the green haired boy squealed, his phone becoming increasingly unsturdy in his grip. He immediately shut his phone, attempting to act cool.
... Crap.
"Did you see that?" he spoke nervously, sneaking his phone behind his back.
"What was that? Don't tell me it was a smutty All Might Fanfiction." the blonde teased, ruffling his green curls.
"What- No- Kacchan why would you even think that?" Izuku sighed, seeming hopeless. But at least Kacchan didn't see whatever the heck he was doing on his phone.
"Why'd you call me anyway?" he questioned, brushing the utmost ridiculous accusation his childhood friend made.
Katsuki walked closer and sat on the sofa's arm rest, leaning over and resting his arm on the boy's head. His hand played with his hair, and honestly it caused an unknown tingling sensation for Izuku. Kind of like when he strolls around the streets with black whip and his stomach drops everytime he travels a little too fast?
"I don't know. Just bored." Katsuki rolled his eyes whilst tugging on Izuku's head of hair. This time it was aggressive.
"Ow! What was that for?" Izuku exclaimed, scowling at the boy with the cheeky look on his face.
"Seriously, you face the greatest villain in history and all it takes for me to defeat you is by tugging on your hair a little too hard?" The blonde snarkily spoke, a sharp smirk plastered on his face.
"Nuh uh, not very nice of you, Kacchan. I dont think you defeated me."
"Ooh, feisty."

"... What." Izuku stared at Uraraka's phone, flabbergasted.
"Well... Bakugo was getting touchy." Uraraka admitted, laughing nervously.
"He'd do that for Kirishima any time!" He countered, his face flushing beet red. Was Katsuki really getting touchy? Clingy?! Pretty hard to believe actually.
"No he wouldn't! He doesn't even sling his arm around Kirishima!"
"... No he wouldn't."
"See, even you admit it. You've known him all your life!" Uraraka sighed, shutting her phone down to place her hand on her friend's shoulder. She lifted her pinky to make sure he doesn't float.
"Well..."
"Listen, maybe you should monitor this account? Just to see if anything bothers you. And if something does, try to tell them to take it down." She spoke, patting her friend's shoulder before turning away to join their friends' movie session.
"Floating." Izuku hissed with a scowl on his face, arms crossed whilst doing the indian sit. This has happened wayyyy too many times.
"Oh! Release!"
Izuku didn't think he would actually follow Ochako's advice, but he did despite the embarrassment and humilliation he may face once his classmates notice he's monitoring this account and they might get the wrong idea.
He found himself sitting in the middle of his room, phone in hand, on the floor and on his limited edition all might rug. What? It's cozy. For the most part, it was just a regular account primarily based on fangirling. Izuku didn't have a problem with it, since it was only harmless and it didn't interfere with his hero studies nor did it change his image or Katsuki's image.
He's yet to figure out how he feels about the account though, he's new to being kind of a uh... celebrity, and he's pretty sure famous people go through these things all the time. Figuring out how they cope with accounts like these are a pain in the ass though.
He wasn't too sure about how Katsuki would feel knowing about this account, but one thing that's gurranteed is that it wouldn't be pleasant. He would probably be grossed out, weirded out, or maybe even pissed?
He scrolled on more posts, until he found one that caught his eye.

maybe i'm delusional, but it's all for this couple! but perhaps my delusions have reasons...
1. notice how dynamight always remains in close proximity with hero deku?!?! he doesn't even do that with any of his other classmates like red riot, and i'm pretty sure red riot's his bff! it's only with deku.
2. he lets deku touch him. i have pics of hero deku literally inspecting his hands for strain. and how is this a reason? hero dynamight doesnt let anybody touch him! let alone in a way so gentle and caring.
3. he literally expresses the love language of physical touch with hero deku. dudes, he touches his hair, he slings his arms around his shoulder, he grasps his wrist, and he even pinchez deku's nose. wtf.

Do they really show these signs? Well, it's true that Katsuki has gotten touchy—but he thought that was with everyone!
Izuku really, really doesn't want to let his delusions get over him and lead him to think that these are all Izuku exclusive stuff from Katsuki, but it's so hard to do so when Katsuki literally does stuff like this.
