Summary
Magic has been ignored and abused long enough. Three years after the War strange things are happening in the Wizarding World. Mythical creatures, sentient houses, and Wild Magic are just some of what's come to be known as The Blight. Hermione, tired of being ignored and overlooked as a Ministry paper-pusher, agrees to be part of a task force dedicated to researching these unexplained phenomena.
But when their first mission is a trip to Malfoy Manor, the place that still haunts her dreams, Hermione will have to decide just how much Gryffindor bravery she actually has. When surges of ancient magic around the Manor force her to confront her past and a man she assumed she knew, Hermione is set on a path to the unknown... and the destination is something she never saw coming.
