Whenever Canterlot is welcomed with winter snow and the lakes are 4 inches thick with ice, the girls find it a perfect opportunity to go ice skating together.
• First off, there's no denying that Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer aren't exactly the most graceful or well-balanced on the ice.
They fall a lot, but that's okay because to them, ice skating is all about having fun, and they have every opportunity to become better... or not, and that's also okay, too.
Whenever they stumble, they laugh and help each other back up before continuing to skate.
• Rainbow Dash and Applejack are natural ice skaters, and they engage in playful competition by creating an obstacle course with orange cones and hula hoops.
Pinkie Pie is their timekeeper.
• Speaking of Pinkie, she's a pro and is doing all sorts of off-the-wall jumps, spins, and other moves all while her Gummy plushie sits on her head without falling off.
• Fluttershy prefers to glide gently on the ice as a casual skater. She is also fond of the way the light breeze blows her hair while she drifts. Angel Bunny and her other furry friends give her skating a 10 out of 10 rating.
• Rarity tries to be a show-off on the ice and goes all out on her skating as if she were a professional figure skater, but she crashes so often that she's on the same level as Twilight and Sunset.
Maybe even worse.
After skating, the girls all head to the Sweet Snacks Café for some hot cocoa to warm up.
