While trying to stop himself from falling, Chen had been flailing his arms in a desperate attempt to regain his balance. All his flailing manages to do, however, is smack his arm into one of the torches lining the wall. The force of his arm hitting the torch causes it to fall from its holder. Chen watches from the floor in horror as the torch falls, and somehow, somehow, on its way down, the flame touches the portrait of Fire Lord Sozin. Which then begins to catch fire. Chen feels like he’s watching everything happen in slow motion as the portrait is slowly being eaten up by flames. The portrait of Fire Lord Sozin is on fire holy shit.
Chen thinks he’s going to faint.
Or, times Fire Lord Zuko was nice and people were surprised, and one time everyone expected it.

Together they're tasked with finding their footing in a world that's as foreign as it is familar, finding the rest of their fellow former digital prisoners and figuring out what the fuck their relationship actually is.

“You could always send me back to the shelter...” he suggests brightly, a joyless smile snapping onto his face.
You let out a sharp laugh at the implication Jax is a stray dog. Even the story of how you found him fits the trope. You can just imagine the conversation.

"No!" Ron exclaimed quietly as to not wake anyone. "Harry's not the type of person he wouldn't just ignore me. If he didn't- if he- he would've said something, okay?!"
Harry wouldn't ignore him, something was wrong and he wouldn't back off until Harry himself told him that's what was happening. That he was abandoned.
Even if Harry would abandon Ron he wouldn't do the same to Hermione.
Ron was going to steal that car and Fred and George couldn't stop him.
