Notes:

Hello everyone.  Welcome to The Forgotten.

As always please remember I’m very dyslexic. So, things might not be spelt right, and grammar might be horrible.  This fic does include OC’s and doesn’t fully follow canon. So, if you don’t like that, don’t read.

Not all the characters belong to me. The canon characters belong to She Who Must Not Be Named (I do not believe her beliefs and I am a trans man myself. But the harry potter universe, especially my OCs and the marauders, comfort me). Some of the OCs belong to my friends They sadly don’t have AO3 accounts (well only Cassie’s owner does) but their Wattpad accounts are:

@riddlesfairytail

@FifiXo (same on AO3)

This story takes place in the same universe as:

~ The Lupin Family

~ Snipits of universe 3

~ The Life of Hogwarts Professor

~ Voldemort has a what?

So, you might want to read those as well.

Triggers:

○ Torture

○ Death

○ Abandonment

○ Miscarriage

○ Terminal illness

○ kidnapping

○ manipulation

Now have fun with this story.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

Somewhere in the Uk, in the middle of nowhere, there's a land of mountains but all was not as it seems. You see in the middle of all the mountains were the king mountain (as the muggle’s call it) but this mountain wasn’t real. It was just an illusion made by a very scared sorcerer who was trying to hide from the world. The illusion was untraceable but if someone with magic were to walk through a certain part of the illusion, they would be able to enter into the hide out. Only four people knew of this entrance. The sorcerer in hiding, their youngest sibling, their oldest sibling and their dad. No one else knew and the sorcerer wanted to keep it that way. No one else needed to know. No one else could use them. No one else could manipulate them. No one else could be horrible to them.

The inside of the illusion was decorated in a wired way. Other than the small toilet room in the top right-hand corner, everything was one big open planned room. In the direct middle of the mountain was a swimming pool/bath. Three of the walls were covered in art works created by the sorcerer’s youngest sister, all at different levels. The fourth wall was covered in books. The ground was covered in dog toys, dog equipment and dog beds. In one of the corners of the room, there were broomsticks, weapons, coats, boots and shoes. Everything you need for going outside.  All around the mountain, there were different platforms (with no walls) who different areas, linked together with ladders and slides. The first row of platforms included a bedroom, a kitchen and a living room. The bedroom was just a simple single bed with bedside draws. The kitchen was small as the sorcerer only knew how to cook a few things like beans on toast. The living room consisted of a sofa, two chairs, a small living room table and a small muggle TV. The next row of platforms included another bedroom, a medical room and a call room. This bedroom had two single beds and two beside draws. The medical room was set up like a hospital with everything a healer would need. Now the call room had a fire place for floo calls but it is only connected to her oldest sister’s and her father’s fireplaces. They also had one single muggle cell phone. The rest of the platforms consisted of:

~ the Grand bedroom

~ 3 more guest bedrooms

~ a potions room

~ Suply cupboards.

~ the closed off bathroom

~ the office

“Woof!”

“and....... fetch wolf!”

Right now, the sorcerer of the mountain was on the ground floor playing a game of catch with a big grey wolf looking dog. The sorcerer in question was a 5’6, Burnette (with ginger roots), plus size, brown eyed, person. They were wearing a blue shirt, light brown overalls and a yellow badger beanie. The person was 38 years and 7 months old.

“Woof!”

“Pass, wolf. Thank you. Now let’s see how fast you can catch it? ...... FETCH!”

“Watch it, Max!”

Just as the sorcerer threw the ball for the dog, a young boy, barley 19, entered the cave and nearly got hit with the ball. The boy had light brown hair and blue eyes. The boy was wearing a white shirt, a blue flannel and jeans. The 19-year-old catches the ball and throws it in another direction but the dog didn’t care about the ball anymore. No, he jumped onto the boy knocking him over and started licking him. The boy laughed trying to get the dog off him.

“Sorry, Marek. Wolf, lay down”

The dog pouted at each owner before getting off Marek and toddling off to one of his beds. Max quickly rushed over and helped them brother up off the floor. “Are you ok?” Max asked and as soon as their brother nodded, they pulled him into a hug “What are you doing here, brother? Not that I don’t want you here but don’t you have things to do with your boyfriend? You both have just graduated from Hogwarts”. Marek smiled and pulled away

“Felix is at a job interview but I wanted to ask you something?”

“You can ask me anything, Marek, you know that”

“Why did Remus and Dracona hate you so much? They never talked about you and wouldn’t tell me anything about you growing”

“I don’t know. They never liked me. As long as I can remember, we were never close.”

“Could you tell me more?”

“What? .... You don’t want to hear my boring story. Do you want a drink? I have tea, coffee, blackcurrant, orange juice and butter bear”

Max quickly rushed off before Marek couldn’t say anything else. They rushed up the ladder to the kitchen platform and started getting all the drinks they. However, Marek wasn’t going to let them go that easily. They quickly followed them up to the kitchen. “Max please. I can’t ask Remus, Dracona or Snow. They’re dead. Lola is stuck in St Mungo’s with Bradley. Jenny ...... Jenny is still healing. Dad’s abroad with his boyfriend. I have no idea where Romulus is ...... Actually, I don’t know where he is. And no one dares ask Rema anything. She'll just get upset. So please tell me.”

“You aren’t going to let me go until I tell you stories of my life, are you?”

“nope”

“Fine. If I'm going to tell you my life, we might as well get comfy. What do you want to drink?”

“A butterbeer, please.”

“Coming right up. Go get comfy in the living room”
