“hey shadow!“ Sonic said as he ran into the park and spotted shadow sitting on a bench watching his kids, “what are you up to“
“not much… “Shadow looked up and blinked at sonic, “why?”
“I don’t know. “Sonic shrugged and sat next to him, “Just asking I guess…“
Shadow and sonic sat there for good amount of time without saying anything just Shadow’s kids runabout and play. Sonic swung his legs while he sat on the bench not really looking at shadow.
Shadow didn’t really care that son was sitting there and he didn’t really think about it either. He didn’t dislike sonic, but he didn’t exactly like him either.
To tell the truth, he didn’t really know what he felt about him… Probably more on the liking side than the disliking. Which I suppose is a good thing.
“ How is Amy?“ Sonic said looking up suddenly.
“have you been abusing her?” Sonic said a sarcastic voice, smirking at shadow.
“No.“ Shadow looked at him with a confused expression, “is that something you’re concerned about? Because if it is… Then explain to me why that’s a concern of yours.“ Shadow said, turning more in his seat to look at sonic directly.
Sonic shrugged, “I don’t know… Just making sure I guess” he smart again at shadow but didn’t say anything
Shadow sat there thinking, hoping that his… Friends didn’t think that he would abuse, Amy… He help sonic was just kidding which he was pretty sure he was…
“How is Sally?” shadow said sitting up Straighter.
Sonic shrugged and smiled, “Not bad I guess. I mean she’s good. I mean, I haven’t like been concerned about her.”
“hm…” Responded shadow. And so they sat. Not saying anything really. Finally shadow his kids had to leave.
“see you later shadow!“Sonic grinned at shadow.
Shadow didn’t respond as he got up to leave, he took his kids by the hand. (Ivy and lilac. His twins) And he went home to Amy.
