Her mother, Vanilla, grew increasingly controlling, restricting Cream's freedom to the point where she couldn’t leave the house for more than two hours.
During this period, Cream felt isolated and misunderstood. Her friends Chocola and Cheese, who were always by her side, distanced themselves out of fear for her safety. Vanilla's overprotectiveness seemed suffocating, making Cream feel like a prisoner in her own home.
