Mickey’s footsteps echo as he takes the stairs two at a time.
“For Fuck’s Sake Mick.” Ian finds Mickey at the fence.
He slides behind him, pulling Mickey in tight.
Mickey tries to push away; Ian holds tighter. Skin to skin, Mickey closes his eyes and relaxes back.
Ian breathes a deep breath, “It’s cold, come back inside, please.”
“Dangerous, have to go.” Mickey lets out.
Whispering in Mickey’s ear, “You are safe here. Who do you think is going to hurt you?”
Mickey twists in Ian’s arms, looking up, staring, blinking, then a barely heard whisper escapes him, “You.”
