Summary
His mind was unusually quiet as he stopped along his path to peer into an open doorway he had passed without thought a hundred times over. It was unheard of for Cainan to falter, but it was equally as strange not to hear the sound of Lotto's voice piercing through the air the second that Cainan approached.
He doesn't know what possesses him to let himself in or close the door behind him, but he knows, at least, it is his own decision.
