It had been Pax's idea, and Sal couldn't really say no to him. They'd gone to a different graveyard, mostly so it didn't feel like they were awkwardly waiting around until Pax went home. Still it was sort of creepy.
There wasn't much light in the graveyard, but thankfully it was a full moon. Though the full moon made it slightly creepy too. Sal was just thankful to be holding Pax's hand.
"This is romantic," Pax commented as they walked past several slightly wonky graves. Sal hummed. "A late night walk, admiring the stars. A full moon shining over us."
"It's creepy," Sal muttered.
"Romantic," he said. Sal shrugged. "I like graveyards." Sal shrugged again. He felt a little weird walking through the stones marking the dead bodies of people long gone. It was creepy. That's what it was.
"Fine, romantic," he finally agreed. Pax grinned at him and Sal had the sudden urge to kiss him. He pulled his hand slightly to stop him and Pax smiled at him. He pulled him closer and kissed him gently.
Pax hummed against his lips and wrapped his free arm around his neck. Somewhere in the back of his mind Sal wondered if he was being disrespectful to all the dead people in the graveyard, the rest of him didn't really care though. He wrapped his free arm around Pax's waist and pulled him slightly closer.
Pax pulled back, breathless. Sal smiled at him softly and leant his forehead against his.
"See?" Pax asked, "Romantic."
"Very romantic," he agreed.
