Summary
After a long, hard journey from a broken land to the new, lush mountains of Inarizaki, the Miyagi settlement is in a fragile, tense place. Shouyou, the son of a woodcutter, has no talent in the art and finds himself floundering between the whims of his family and his own hidden, unknown desires. All the while, small horrors begin to descend upon the small population — with Shouyou at the center of it all.
For there is something in the woods, and its eyes are fixed upon him. It just so happens that Shouyou is the type to look right back.
