Chapter Text

Another day, another boring routine, well for the most part. Uzi and everyone around the colony has been hearing about a rumor spreading around for the past 12 years. The rumor is about a strange pod crash landing somewhere on copper-9. At first it was assumed it was another group of murder drones, but the pod hasn't open supposedly, nobody knows for sure since they been in the colony for who knows how long.

"Well, I guess it's time to go look for more parts for my project", said Uzi. Thankfully Uzi had a plan for such occasions, she looks to a vent in her room and quickly unscrews the cover before crawling in to her exit on the outside of the bunker. Uzi exits and starts quickly running to avoid any murder drones that might be around. She finds her destination, an old supply depot.

"Doesn't look like anyone else was here, which is good for me", said Uzi somewhat cautiously. Uzi was gonna explore this on her last trip in the snow barren wasteland but didn't want to get lost so decide to just head back home. But now, she has plenty of time so she goes inside and looks around. Boxes and frozen skeletons litter the snow infested depot. Uzi find some wires and conductors, perfect for what she needs but she also discovers something far more interesting.

A pod, same design as the pod the murder drones came from but still closed and embedded in the depots ground. "I guess the rumor was true after all, huh", said Uzi somewhat surprised. Uzi looks around to see if it can be opened, but there doesn't appear to be any way to open it from the outside. "Guess I'm going to have to pry this open then", says Uzi.

Uzi looks around for any equipment that could be useful and spots a red but faded crowbar on the floor. Uzi grabs it and tries to see if any of the corners the pod's door are a slightly lose. Uzi finds a slightly bent corner of the door and with much effort manges to get the door off. After quickly resting and getting up she looks in shock on the sight she sees.

In the pod lies what seems to a slightly smaller cryogenic unit containing something. The contents of the unit look human for the most part until the various drone body parts are seen under the teared skin and clothes. Uzi gets closer while still being somewhat cautious of the thing she has found. Uzi press a red button on the themside of the cryo unit and it opens, showing the entity in it's entirely. Uzi grabs the being out of the pod and lies it on the floor. Uzi almost gags a bit after looking closely at the being but manges to suppress the urge.

Uzi looks in shock as the beings eye light up bright white and it starts to get up and stumbles before getting on their feet. It dusts of its clothes and looks at Uzi in shock and confusion. "Who are you",said the being. Uzi responds by saying her name. Uzi than asks who they are. "My name is Tessa James Elliott", the girl said. She goes to extend her hand but stops and looks at her arm. "What happend to me, why do I look like this, why is my skin so torn?", Tessa says in panic. Uzi quickly goes to hug her, surprising herself and Tessa. "I don't know but are you okay?", said Uzi in a comforting tone.

Tessa lightly nods and tries to look at her body, seeing various amounts of tearing on her body with various drone parts being exposed underneath. "Where am I, cause the last thing I remember was being on Earth near the manor", said Tessa. Uzi looks in shock as Tessa was sent this far from her original planet."You are on the planet know as copper-9" said Uzi somewhat sadly. Tessa looks in shock but quickly tries to get over it and tries to look somewhat happier. "I see", said Tessa midly upset.

"Do possibly remember how you got here?", said Uzi. Tessa shake her head sadly. "I do still remember at least my life on Earth, but not why I look like this" Tessa said quietly. "Well then let's go back to the colony" said Uzi. Tessa looks in confusion. "Oh, right, you never heard of the colony, simply put it's where us worker drones live at" said Uzi in a somewhat upset tone.

Tessa and Uzi start to make their way to the colony but then Tessa wonders about something. "Hey Uzi, why is it so barren and horribly snowy outside?" said Tessa in confusion. "Apparently the humans living here manged to mess up bad enough that all organic life here died out and caused a never ending winter" said Uzi casually.

"So I'm possibly the only "organic" being to be on copper-9 then?", said Tessa in slight shock. Uzi stop in her place and ponders. "Huh, I guess you would be Tessa", Uzi says before continuing her walk to the colony before stopping in her tracks. "It's 5 am!", said Uzi in uteer shock. "I been outside here for 2 hours, that's way longer than usual, dad is gonna be so upset, got to think of something" said Uzi in panic. "You have a father?" said Tessa, "I thought all drones where just made in factories". "Well it turns out it was easier to make drone themselves have the ability to make more of themselves than the company to do so" said Uzi.

"Since you can't fit in the vent I used to get out were going to have to go through the front door, let's hope we don't get spotted going in" said Uzi upset. Uzi looks into jacket and grabs a disc shaped key and slides it on a small device and then the door opens revealing her father, Kahn looking upset at Uzi and confused on Tessa. "Hi dad" said Uzi in surprise. "Your lucky that the sun rises early enough" said Kahn, "Now who's your friend that you have here?". "I'm Tessa James Elliott" said Tessa.

" So dad I'm sure you heard about that rumored crash pod right?" Said Uzi. Kahn nods. "Well as it turns out it was true and Tessa was the one who was in there", said Uzi sheepishly, Kahn looks in shock and starts to look closer at Tessa, noticing the torn spots of skin with drone parts seeping throught the holes. "Are you human?" said Kahn. Tessa nods, "I don't know how I became like this but I want to find out why and why I was sent here". Kahn tells them to come inside and brings Tessa and Uzi to the main hallway. They start walking as various workers pass by looking in confusion on Tessa passing by. "Don't mind them Tessa, they're just concerned on who you are", said Uzi. Tessa lightly nods in response.

They eventually reach the doorman household and Khan beckons them inside. "Uzi, I'm still upset you snuck outside but I'm happy your safe and found someone who seems nice to you", Kahn says, "But you grounded for the next 4 days young lady"! Using grumbles but sighs in agreement. "Oh and Tessa, you can stay here, since well, I'm sure you don't have a home anymore", said Kahn. "Thank you sir", said Tessa before lightly bowing. You can just call me Kahn he said. "Since we don't have a extra bed you might have to sleep on the couch, if that's fine", said Khan nervously. Tessa says it fine.

"Hey Tessa, wanna go explore the colony?", said Uzi. "Sure, I guess", said Tessa. Tessa and Uzi walk around hallways, while Uzi explains more information about the colony to Tessa, who looks shocked and excited about the many inner working of the colony. Uzi then stops when She sees a pair of familiar people to her.

"Oh look it's the freak and somebody new" said the pinked eye drone. The other drone next to her simply stares at them. "Hey Uzi, who are these two", said Tessa. "The pinked eyed one is Lizzy and the red eyed one is Doll", said Uzi annoyed. "So who is the friend with you, they seem, different", said Lizzy. "My name is Tessa", she said. "You look a bit weird for a worker drone", Lizzy said.

Before Tessa could speak Uzi interupts, "So lizzy I'm sure you heard of the rumored crash pod, right" "I have", she said. "As it turns out it was real and not only that but Tessa was it's occupant", Uzi said smugly. "Huh, neat", said Lizzy. Tessa looks around quickly in nervousness. "So what is she then, cause she sure don't look like a drone, and also that she has skin", said Lizzy.

"I think I might have been possibly an experiment", said Tessa sadly. "I see, well at least you still look pretty" said Lizzy casually. "I, um, well thank you Lizzy", Tessa said instutter. "Anyway I got somewhere to be so bye for now Tessa and you to emo" Lizzy says before her and Doll leave, walking further down the hallway.

"Strange to see Lizzy so, nice like that", said Uzi. "Is she usually rude to others?", asked Tessa. "More like just rude to me and controlling of others", said Uzi. Tessa and Uzi afterwards continue exploring the colony with Uzi showing her some places such as the gym and the classroom that she attends. Later on they return back to the doorman household and Uzi falls asleep on the couch.

"She must be pretty tuckered out, huh", said Kahn who came exiting his room. "Not surprising, since she woke up at 3 am and then spent the last couple hours showing me around the place", said Tessa. Khan chuckles before drinking from his cup. Tessa look at the clock on the wall and notices that it's currently 1:23 pm.

Tessa sighs realizing that Uzi has been awake for 10 hours with very little sleep. "I'm still shocked that my life has changed so suddenly, but at the same time, I'm enjoying the new conditions I'm in", said Tessa. "Well I hope you'll enjoy your time here", said Khan before sipping from his cup. "I think I will", said Tessa.

"Enjoy your nap?",said a voice. Uzi wake up slightly confused before realizing the voice came from Tessa, who is sitting a nearby chair. "How long was I out for", asked Uzi.

"You were out for about 4 hours", said Tessa. Uzi gets up from the couch and yawns as she stretches. "I still got to get more parts for my project" said Uzi. "And that project is?" asked Tessa. "My railgun, so I can prove to my father and classmates that I'm the best and to defend myself from the Murder Drones.", Uzi said excitedly.

"Wait, what is a Murder Drone?",Tessa asked. Uzi realized that she hasn't told Tessa about the most important part of living on Copper-9 yet. "Murder drones were sent to our planet after the extinction of all organic life 40 years ago, since they company doesn't seem to like the idea of rouge ai", said Uzi causally. Tessa becomes shocked by that new information. Uzi already mentioned how there was no life on the planet but for 40 years, that seemed so wrong."But it seemed that Copper-9 still had life back when I was still on Earth", said Tessa. "Jcjenson probably covered that up, since it would probably freak a lot of people out if suddenly a entire planet of filled with life went poof out of nowhere", said Uzi.

"How did they mange to cover up this from so long, somebody should've found out by now", said Tessa. "Well to be fare, it probably has became public among other humans by now, they just probably lied on when it actually happened", said Uzi. "I'm just shocked that an entire planet was extinct while I was still alive back on Earth and they manged to cover it up for this long", said Tessa. "They probably released the real info after they sent the Murder drones here", said Uzi. "I wonder what else they manged to cover up", said Tessa while looking at herself. Uzi ponders about Tessa response and wonders how did Jcjenson mange to make Tessa look like how she looks now and wonders if the company was the only one involved.

"Hey Tessa, do you still have any other memories about Earth, like where you grew up or any friends?", asked Uzi. Tessa stiffened in response causing Uzi to panic. "I shouldn't have asked that", said Uzi in response. Tessa calms herself down before looking back at Uzi. "It's fine Uzi, it just my last few memories on Earth weren't the best, but it would be better for me to talk about them instead of trying to hide it", said Tessa. Tessa calms herself once again before speaking.

"I used to live in manor back on Earth, we were a rich family and so had plenty of money to just spend for whatever we could want, but most of that money was spent on hiring drones as...servants", said Tessa before slowly looking away from Uzi. "When my mom and dad had a drone that wasn't being useful enough, they would just kill them on the spot and throw them into the swamp nearby. Although they also seemed upset at themselves whenever they did that, especially my mom", said Tessa. Tessa looks back to uzi before resuming her talk.

"My mom could easily break a drones visor with just a fork but I always hear her slightly cry after she kills a drone, she probably tries to not seem them as living things until the very end. My dad didn't rarely did any of the drone killing himself, but when he does, he usually carries the bodies to the swamp instead of tossing out them out like my mom does. They probably didn't want to get attached to them and tried to see them as just objects but that honestly seem to hurt them more and that anger was usually taken on me instead", said Tessa before rubbing her arm.

"I decided one day to try to repair some of the thrown out drones and give them new life and it worked. My first fixed drone was J, she had twin pigtails with bows on them, she was clingy to me at first but after a while became more independent. She acted as a boss to the other 3 I found. After J, there was V, she had short hair but a impaired visor so she wore glasses. She was kinda quiet and shy but was sassy with J. Honestly she was sort of like you Uzi" said Tessa. Uzi slightly laughs in response.

"The next one I found was N, he was just the cutest little thing ever, his fluffy hair also helped in that regard. He was just so nice to everybody, always wanting to make friends. He kinda became my favorite and that made J upset. J and N would sometimes get into a skirmish and V would have to intervene. I felt bad when I showed affection to N when J was nearby, it made me feel sad for her. Me and J sort of distanced ourselfs from each other".

"Then there was the last one I found, she was...she"', said Tessa before once again calming herself down again. "Cyn was different from the others, her bright yellow eyes, her broken voice, her always saying her actions out loud, and especially the way her limbs and body were slouched and unmoving. She called J and V big sister and called N her big brother", said Tessa. She looks back at the nearby wall before continuing.

"I had a accident happen at the manor a few days later, I was messing around with some equipment and manged to....lose my arm. I remember seeing red everywhere on the floor and on my clothes, before hearing footsteps and it was my mom. She looked in absolute horror before yelling for my dad. They carried me out of the room and tried to help close the wound. I was brought to a hospital quickly. I never seen so much emotion from my parents before. It was strange to see them so worried when they weren't open about their feelings. I heard my dad calling Jcjenson about a prosthetic".

"J,N,V, and Cyn looked at me in worry and sadness at my new state and I tried to rasure them I be fine. A few days later my prosthetic came in. It look like a worker drone arm but made in the style of a human arm, it worked like a dream. Honestly that also was a reason I panicked when you awakened me back. My arm was back but just resting on my new drone limbs underneath. It felt wrong seeing that", said Tessa.

"You had drone friends back on Earth", said Uzi. "I sure did", said Tessa while crossing her arms. "Although now that you mention it, I wonder how did you mange to grow back your arm", said Uzi. "Probably a side effect from how I look like now", said Tessa before smiling back at Uzi. "Did anything else happened after that?", asked Uzi. Tessa slowly nodded before continuing her story.

"It was the day of the gala, where various rich folk would attend for a party. Cyn and N enter from the gala entrance and I hug N after I see him, getting side-eyed from J, who I was just talking to. I notice Cyn and she says how she wasn't let out of her basement timeout. Before I could respond to N's question about Cyn, my mom notices and starts to walk towards me.

She told me how she won't tolerate my dumpster pits and that she would throw away the broken drones clogging up the library. Cyn responded by saying they aren't broken but before she can get hurt, N takes the blame by saying she told her to say that. N is then tied to a tree and is left to the rain and crows outside. I then get chained to my room with J and Cyn who were with me.

"Then that's when everything went wrong", said Tessa shaken. "Cyn wasn't normal by any means but what she did that day still haunts me. She proceed to turn into this snake, crab, thing and told me that I won't discard her pets and she won't discard me. Before quickly a bright yellow flash appeared in my room and where that form of Cyn stood was something else. It looked like it was made up of only claws and cameras. Cyn then said that I seem squeamish and I should avoid the gala. She then disappeared in another bright flash of yellow".

Tessa starts to shake and Uzi hugs her to calm her down, Tessa takes a breath and becomes more relaxed. "Thank you Uzi", said Tessa slightly shaken. Uzi nods in response. Tessa continues her story. "J chewed my chain off and we went sneaking around trying to find Cyn and stop her before it was to late. We overlook the gala from the second floor and we find some weapons, a simple sword and a revolver. Then pair of glasses drop from the ceiling and we notice what looks like V crawling on the roof, with flesh like wings and claws growing from her body.

"We huddle back to back and before we know it, V drops on us and we try to fight her off. We manged to pin her to the floor by using the sword on her wing, which left J defenseless. We make our way down the stairs and enter the gala and see Cyn, I tried to shoot her but the bullet curves around her and impacts the windows. Cyn held her hand up with a strange symbol appearing on it and then all the lights turn off.

Various yellow X shaped symbols appeared on drones that were seemingly hidden before, I look behind me and see J having the symbol on her face. I start to run as screams fill the manor and the scent of blood was littered everywhere as people ran to leave. I managed to hide in a small cabinet as the screams echoed the manor.

"After a while the screams start to stop and the sound of squelching and Cyn's voice become the only sound. I looked from my spot and saw Cyn inside of one of the many corpses, controlling it like her own. She then flew away as the sounds of flapping filled up the manor as various drones start to fly upward out of the manor. I get out of my hiding spot and look around to see blood and bodies littler the manor as well as oil stains scattered around. I step outside and see drones flying on wings to a nearby city as well as in various directions. I then heard what sounded like a vehicle approached nearby and saw it.

"A Jcjenson branded transport truck and many of it's personal exiting. I got up and approached them hoping to get some help. I told them what is saw and as well as Cyn's skinsuit. Maybe that's what inspired my look now that I think about it", said Tessa lightly chuckling. They took me with them and next thing I know, I wake up here to your face. I was 10 at the time and now I'm awake after 12 years. I missed a chunk of my life but now I can have a new one", said Tessa with tears slowly dripping down on her face.

"I'm so happy you've found me Uzi", said Tessa fully crying as she hugs Uzi full force. Uzi is taken off guard but hugs back. "I'm happy to Tessa", said Uzi who is shedding purple tears on her visor. "I want to live a life I can fully enjoy with people I care about and people who care about me", said Tessa. "And I think I'm already finding it".

It had been 2 days since Tessa discussed her past.Tessa and Uzi have become great friends, Uzi was especially happy about that part. Tessa has been going with Uzi to her classes with her as well since she needs to learn and catch up after being asleep for 12 years. Thankfully though, due to Tessa being merged with a drone, she was able to catch up alot easier. Tessa and Uzi would usually just discuss random topics and how they were feeling. Tessa has been a lot more positive ever since talking about her past and Uzi was happy that her friend was doing much better mentally.

Tessa was getting some advice from Uzi on the colony, such as ways to sneak out extra batteries and to become friends with Lizzy since she has power over her classmates. Tessa decide to try that advice and went to go find Lizzy, who was talking to Doll. "Hey lizzy", said Tessa sheepishly. "Oh, hi Tessa", said Lizzy. Tessa was gonna say something before Lizzy interrupted. "I know your trying to become my friend for my status, it's something I always hear Uzi saying she wished she did and since you hang out with her it was only natural ". Tessa lightly coughed in response.

"But honestly I need more people to talk to besides just Doll and the other girls", said Lizzy. "So, you don't mind me being your friend", asked Tessa nervously. "Not really", replied Lizzy causally. Tessa darted her eyes around the room she was in before speaking. "So what were so guys talking about", asked Tessa.

"We were just talking mostly about our classmates and Uzi, did you talk to Uzi about anything exciting", asked Lizzy. "I told her about my last few memories on Earth", said Tessa. Lizzy looked at Tessa in excitement. "What where they, I've got to know", said Lizzy. Tessa and Doll were caught off guard by Lizzy sudden excitement. "Sorry just get really excited when. hearing about potential romance and well interesting stories.", said Lizzy. "Are you sure you wanna her about my past", said Tessa. "I'm sure I can handle it, it can't be that bad", said Lizzy.

Tessa sighed in response. "I wished it wasn't that bad to", she said in her head. Tessa calmed herself down and told Lizzy and Doll that this information stays between them only. Lizzy sadly nods and Doll nods. Tessa proceed to tell Lizzy and Doll everything she remembered. From her unstable and emotional parents to the horror and violence of the gala massacre. Lizzy and Doll stare in shock after the story. Tessa starts to slightly become more shaken but calms herself down. "Are you two okay", asked Tessa.

"It just, a lot to take in right now", said Lizzy slightly shaken. Doll seems to be the most shaken from this information. Tessa goes and hugs them both. Doll and Lizzy clam down. "I'm sorry that happened to you", said Doll slightly crying. This caused Tessa to become confused as she didn't understand Russian. "Huh that's odd", said Tessa backing away from the hug. This caused Doll and Lizzy to be slightly confused.

"I never knew how to speak Russian but for some reason I can perfectly understand it", said Tessa. "All drones can translate languages but we have to learn the language to speak it for some weird reason", said Lizzy. Doll laughs at the scene and Tessa smiles at Doll seeing her happier. "Hey Tessa, do you want to hang out like this again some other time", asked Lizzy. Tessa smiles and replies, "I would love to". Lizzy and Doll smile in response. Doll getting up, says she heading back to her home. Tessa and Lizzy wave bye before they two split ways going home.

Doll enters her house, litter is all around as well as various metallic roaches that live in the many darkened areas of the house with only their orange lights shining back. Doll opens a curtain and it leads to the house's kitchen. Pots and pan of oil fill the room as well as various drone limbs littering the area. Doll drinks some of the Oil and chews on a nearby arm. She sighs and looks to the the dining table where two figures are sitting covered up with a blanket on top. "Hello mom and dad I'm home", she said to the covered figures.

"I said multiple times I would get revenge against the murder drones for what they did to you and to others but I don't know what to do. I meet someone named Tessa, she's some sort of human, drone thing that Uzi managed to find. Tessa lived on Earth until a incident happened". Doll starts to shake remembering the story she was told. "Apparently the squad of murder drones that appeared on copper-9 used to be hers and not only that, they were just like us. They used to be worker drones. I don't know what to do and I'm....scared I'll mess up. I don't know what to do".

Doll starts to tear up but manges to hold them back. "I'm going to ask Tessa and depending on what happens, I'll decide if it was right to be like this". Doll says goodbye to her covered parents and leaves the kitchen. Doll paces around a bit and then exits her house and goes to find Tessa.

Tessa and Uzi are relaxing, listening to music and watching TV. "So Tessa, did you take m alive on Lizzy?", asked Uzi as she shoved batteries into her mouth. "I tired it but Lizzy found out why was I trying to become her friend", Tessa said nervously. "Well that's disappointing, hopefully you won't deal with her being annoying to you in the future", said Uzi. Tessa laughs lightly be speaking once again. "Lizzy asked about my past", said Tessa. Uzi went wide eyed. "What did you tell her", asked Uzi in panic. "I told her and Doll what I told you", said Tessa. Uzi looked in shock. "And how did they take it", asked Uzi. "They were upset, especially Doll, and I hugged them and told them I was fine", replied Tessa.

"Funny enough it was Lizzy who asked me to essentially become her friend", said Tessa. "So I guess your advice worked after all". Uzi chuckles in response. "I'm kinda more happy honestly that you manage to become real friends with Lizzy instead of doing my suggestion", said Uzi. Suddenly a knock is heard. "That was front door I'll see who it is", said Uzi.

Uzi opens the front door and sees Doll. "What are you doing here", asked Uzi. "I...want to talk to Tessa and honestly it would be better for you to be involved as well Uzi", said Doll. Uzi calls for Tessa, who exits out of Uzi's room and sees Doll at the front entrance. "Oh, hi Doll, didn't expect to see you so soon", said Tessa. "I have something to discuss with the two of you, got anywhere private to speak", asked Doll.

Uzi points to her room and the three enter. Uzi locks the door and turns to Doll who is sitting on Uzi's bed. "Didn't expect so much purple", said Doll. Uzi rolls her eyes at doll. "So Doll, what is this important information you want to tell me and Tessa", asked Uzi. "It regards on both Tessa's past and the murder drones", said Doll. Uzi and Tessa look in shock and confusion on the statement. "How are the murder drones involved with my past", asked Tessa.

"When you said the names of the workers you were friends with, it made me realize something, they're the names of the murder drones sent here", said Doll. Uzi and Tessa look in shock. "Your friends were turn into those things and specifically V was the one who murdered my parents", said Doll. Tessa looks down to the floor and shakes in response. Uzi looks at Tessa in sadness.

"So my friends are now murderers and V killed your parents, is there anything else you want to tell me?", asked Tessa angrily. "I want to know if my lust for revenge is wrong or right with everything I been told and knew", said Doll. Tessa hesitates in response, she wants to say it's wrong but they have been killing people for a while but at the same time, they probably didn't want to do it.

Tessa takes a quick breath before speaking, "It's right to be mad at their actions and what they have done, especially for what V did to you, but your revenge might cause you to got far for what you personally believe is right, if I could somehow bring them back to who they were before I would, but it they are to far gone, then you have the right to take revenge". Doll is stunned by Tessa response as well as Uzi.

"Thank you Tessa, for making me more reasonable about my belief, i hope you can make them passive before I step in", said Doll.Tessa smiles and replies back, "I hope so to". Doll gets off of Uzi's bed and hugs the both of them, confusing Uzi before she just accepts it. "I noticed you're still working on the railgun", said Doll as she stops hugging Tessa and Uzi.

"Yeah I am", said Uzi somewhat guilty, given the fact the murder drones where Tessa's friends. "Continue your work on it, if they can't be reasoned with, it'll be better if you're at least prepared for that situation", said Doll. "I'll take my leave now, be careful Tessa and Uzi, I don't wanna lose more people who are...important to me", said Doll before leaving Uzi's room and then leaving the house. "I'm going to relax on the couch, call me if you need anything", said Tessa as she exited the room soberly. Uzi looks at her railgun and gods to continue her now in progress project.

Chapter Text

Three days have past since their talk with Doll, Uzi has just finished her railgun and is ready to present it to the class. Tessa and Uzi walk down to the classroom and take their seats, waiting for the rest of the class show up. After 10 minutes, the rest of the class all show up. Uzi gives her presentation on why they should rise up against the company and how she'll defend the colony from possible harm. She points her railgun at her classmates and get some scared reactions.

"Relax morons, it doesn't work yet, who said it doesn't work", said Uzi as she get ready to fire it. "Maybe don't fire it please", said Tessa in worry. Before Uzi can fire, another voice interrupts her. "Uzi, the homework was about buying watermelons", said the bored teacher. "And this railgun doesn't count", asked Uzi. "No and is it supposed to be that color ", asked the teacher as the railgun's lights become red instead of the usual green.The railgun proceeds to blow up in Uzi's hand. Uzi is brought to the nurse as Tessa helps to escort her there.

Uzi is holding a icepack to her face, as if it would do anything. "I told you not to fire it", said Tessa who was standing near Uzi. "I know", said Uzi. Lizzy and Doll enter the nurse's office and see both Tessa and Uzi. "What happened here", asked Lizzy. "Uzi fired her railgun and it blew up in her face", said Tessa. Lizzy snorts at the thought. Doll looks behind her to the hallway and hears another voice coming down. "Classic toxic masculinity Chad, like that ever gonna be problematic", said the sporty looking drone before spotting the others in the nurse's office.

"Oh, hey Doll, Liz, Uzi, and um....Tessa if I'm correct?", said the Drone. "Yeah and you are", asked Tessa. "My names Thad", he replied. Thad looks at Uzi noticing the bandage on the right side of her visor. "Oh Uzi, are you okay", asked Thad. "I'm fine Thad, but how do you now my name, people willing talk to you", said Uzi. "I would say how everyone would know Khan's daughter but you might blow a gasket", said Thad jokingly. "Honestly, dad hasn't been that neglectful for a while, only took him 13 years", said Uzi grumpily. Tessa fakes a cough to break the tension. "So Uzi, you got to replace that power source on your railgun right", asked Tessa. "Yeah but I have to sneak out to get them", said Uzi.

"Isn't that like, extremely dangerous", said Lizzy. "Yeah but the last time I did I was fine and I found a friend out of it, totally worth it", said Uzi smugly. Lizzy stares at Uzi in confusion. Uzi looks confused at Lizzy's look. "Sorry, just feels wrong seeing you positive", said Lizzy. Uzi laughs in response, "I guess it's weird". Uzi and the group start to leave the office and head their own way home.

The time 3:00AM appeared on Uzi's visor, she slaps it in response and sneaks around the house trying not to wake Tessa up and to get her dad's spare key for the main colony doors. Uzi sneaks to the first door and immediately sees her father. "And where do you think you're going", asked Khan. "Sneaking to make out with my boyfriend that I totally have", said Uzi.

Khan laughs in response. "Okay but why are you here", asked Khan. "I'm checking on the structural integrity of door 1, yep, just like what my old man taught me.", said Uzi nervously. Khan stares at Uzi for a few seconds before responding. "Well that's great news, here my wrench I used on my first door and to put your mother out of her misery when the murder drones stuck her with that nanite acid, I want you to have", said Khan cheerfully. Uzi goes wide eyed before she speaks, "Cool, therapy is fun", Uzi said as Khan gives her the wrench.

Khan opens the the door behind him to reveal many other workers playing cards. "Guys, my daughter is into doors", said Kahn excitedly. The card players cheer in response. "Go forth, your door specific journey awaits", said Khan. "I'm just gonna go because that worked to well, but um...go doors", Uzi said before quickly exiting the bunker through the 3rd and finale door.

Uzi takes a breather and goes around looking for a replacement energy source for her railgun. Drone corpses litter the snow and in front of Uzi stands the spire, a hollow, almost cone shaped building built from drone corpses and various scrap metal holding it together. Uzi steps inside to see the pod that sent the murder drones here. Uzi smiles at the familiar sight, remembering how she found Tessa. Uzi finds her replacement part but hears something large and hide behind some debris.

Uzi picks up some glass and look through the reflection to see a murder drone eating from a drone's head. Uzi looks at the drone and recognizes the one as N. As Uzi looks through the glass, N stares right at her through it. Uzi panics and is suddenly thrown from her spot by N landing near her. Uzi loads the power source into her railgun but it's tossed from her as she gets stabbed through her hand by N's tail. The acid from the tail is painful to Uzi and she tries her best to not yell from the pain.

N tries to sweep Uzi of her feet with his tail but Uzi backflips, surprising herself as she lands. "And they said pirating all that anime was useless", said Uzi. Uzi grabs some snow and proceeds to hurl it at N's visor, confusing him briefly. Uzi uses this small moment of confusion to go get her railgun and fire it at N. N swipes the snow of his face and looks at Uzi as he hears a strange sound.

"Bite me", said Uzi as she fired her railgun at N's head, completely destroying it. Uzi calms herself down as the rail gun goes red to recharge. Uzi looks somewhat saddened by the fact that she killed Tessa's old friend but at the same time, it either her or him. Uzi looks at N's body but notices something strange, his neck is pulsating and yellow energy is puring out. Uzi realizes that N is regenerating his head and in desperation proceeds to slap him with a nearby arm as he starts to stand up with his head taking full shape.

N blinks and looks confused at Uzi. "Did you just slap me with that arm", he asked.

"Did you just slap me with that arm", asked N confused. Uzi stares at N, not sure what to do before N decides to talk. "Well anyways, I'm serial designation N, I'm sort of the leader of the squad. Actually that's not true, everyone just says I'm useless and terrible". N's eyes go wide as he realizes what he said, "Wait I wasn't supposed to tell you that part, ah biscuits, we'll I suppose honesty is the best policy".

"Actually now that I look at you more, aren't you a little....short for a disassembly drone", asked N as he leaned in to look closer at Uzi. Uzi gets really nervous and hopes nothing bad will happen to her. N leans back and just shrugs his shoulders. "For some reason I can't remember the past three hours of my life but im sure that'll sort itself out", said N. Uzi calms down a bit before she speaks, "Yeah I have somewhere to go, so bye", as she starts to walk away, she feels pain coming from hand and rubs at in response.

"Oh, stuck yourself, yeah that happened sometimes but all you have to do is just stick it back into your mouth and then our saliva will neutralize the acid", said N proud and smiling. Uzi looks at her hand before looking at N, "And by our acid, you mean disassembly drone, hey let's go to the pod", said Uzi awkwardly. "Sure, I love doing anything", said N as the two them walk to the pod.

Uzi pops her hand out of N's mouth. "Huh that was, strange", said N nervously. "For the record, we aren't talking about this", said Uzi in embarrassment. "What are you even talking about, concerned it repressed", said N trying to be smug. Uzi thinks she should just leave but she could get some info on J and V as well and maybe even Cyn, so she starts a conversation. Uzi. looks at N before speaking," You said you had a squad right, when should they be back"."They'll most likely appear in a hour, but you reminded me, I haven't told you who they are", said N.

A female murder drone is shown standing on top of a worker, her pin-shaped legs trapping the poor worker below being forced to watch in horror as his family is being eaten by the attacking force on top of him. He pleads to the attacker, before she quickly kills him. She laughs at the gore she caused before speaking, "And yet, I still feel nothing", as her eye slightly twitches at her own response. "So I heard that one of the planets toxic death storms is passing by", said N nervously as he just finished watching the carnage V did. V looks confused at N. "Oh god, who are you", replies V as she catapults herself to the air, with her wings being fully extended.

"No worries, a single letter is hard to remember", said N in a saddened laugh. Uzi looks at N in pity by the fact that V would be like this. "She kinda scary, but secretly I actually have a crush on her, YOU CAN'T TELL HER THAT OKAY!", said N quickly in panic. Uzi zips her mouth shut to N. N goes back to speaking again, " And then there's J, our leader".

"N, you are weak, useless, and terrible, and if the company allowed it, I would kill you myself", said J in anger with her own pin-shaped leg on N's back. "Thanks J, you're the best", said N. "J is awesome", replied N in a positive smile. Uzi once again looks at N saddened, as she realizes that J is essentially a worse version of what she was back in the manor. "Oh and let me give you the the tour, outside is the corpse spire, thing, and in here are the buttons, beep boop", said N as he presses random buttons. Uzi realizes something about the pod, "This isn't just a landing pod, it's a spaceship", said Uzi. "More like a one use missile, they never taught us how to land", said N nervously.

"This could get us off the planet, we could work with the other drones, instead of all the murder, which makes me wonder, why are we doing that again", asked Uzi curiously. N replies back, "To drink their warm and succulent oil to not overheat and die, besides that I guess I just wanted to be useful". "And look where all that respect it gotten you", said Uzi in anger.

She looks sadden a bit before she speaks soberly, "Do you really think the company won't leave you here once all the workers are dead?". N is somewhat started by the response but goes back to his usual happy self. "That sounds rebellious and all but it's not as cool as following the rules", he said. Uzi groans before going stiff as she here's loud nosies coming, towards her. "Ah, they must be back now, I'm sure you'll to meet them", said N before noticing that Uzi had left just a few seconds ago, sprinting to the colony doors.

Two other murder drones appear near the spire's entrance way, one of them named V crawling on the wall before dropping downward on the snow floor. Yo, we got a worker out there and that I kinda wanna practice balloon animal shapes with, what happened here", asked V in full view. "Synergistic liability over here must have knocked himself out", said J as she slapped N's face.

"Hello moron bot, wake up", said J annoyed. N's visor restores to normal as he see his memories of Uzi, with her in full view, now showing her to be a worker drone. N wakes up in slight distress."I just remembered an excuse, outside", said N stumbling to talk before leaving out of the spire to track Uzi's footprints. J and V look confused before V switches her clawed hands with a flag simply reading, "So insanely suspicious".

Uzi is quickly running back to the colony doors, peering back behind her to see N flying towards her direction. Uzi manges to get inside and tries to close the door as the card players inside get annoyed by the wind blowing their cards off the table. Uzi almost manges to close the door before it's stopped. Uzi and the others look in fear as a pair of claws hold the door from completely closing down.

"Oh, are you guys playing rummy, deal me in, oh wait I have to kill you guys, rain check", said N as he trust his tail though the door and into the care holder nearby Uzi, causing the door to automatically open. Uzi and the others start to run in fear. Uzi sees multiple people getting ripped apart as she runs hoping to get hit. Uzi manges to run towards the final door in her way before it opens by itself. "Okay guys I'm back....what happened here", asked Khan as he saw the carnage behind Uzi. Uzi stammers a bit in response but gets interrupted as N lands near them before grabbing Uzi with his claws, pinning her to the wall and knocking her railgun off her hands.

"Uzi, you lead a murder drones here", said Khan in shock. Uzi looks at N in fear and panics as she has flashbacks of her life until this point. Uzi sees moments from as little as going to school for the first time to finding....her. "Tessa", she said in her head. Uzi looks at the railgun....unsure if it has completely recharged, she looks at her dad. "Dad, just go", said Uzi. Khan looks in shock at the statement and N slightly loses his grip. Uzi notices the losen grip but still can't move at all but sees N's eyes look sad.

"Dad, please....keep her and everyone else safe", Uzi said sadly. Khan slightly moves but is still afraid. N looks to Khan and closes his eyes as a message is displayed on his visor, "Please....just go". Kahn takes one last look at Uzi before closing the door and activating the alarms. N looks back to Uzi sadden, but then starts to hear metallic tapping and sees J and V coming closer. Before they can see, N tosses Uzi into a a nearby box.

"Is my visor busted or did you actually manged to not screw up for once", said J. " Well it seems you had some fun N", said V. N was shocked that V remembered her. V looks to the ceiling and smiles. "There seems to plenty of larger vents, perfect for travel, lowest body count eats a missile, said V in excitement as she leaves through the vents. J looks somewhat amused my V's action before looking back at N. "With this sector wiped, we'll make top quarter for sure and you know what that means, branded pens, J said while quickly clicking a pen in and out. Before J could join with V, N asked her something,"Hey J, do we know what the company going to do with us once our job is done".

J looks at N slightly confused and crosses her arms together. "What", she asks. "So while you two we off hunting, I worker drone might have told me how we could work together, but hey that's against the rules", said N slightly in panic. J looks a bit mad at N before she calms herself down. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked, funny how I can realize when I said something wrong huh", said N shakily. J smiles at N before she speak, "You just given me the excuse I been looking for".

J quickly puts a device on to N's chest and N falls over with error messages filling up his visor. "Worker drones are corrupted N, I hate to see you corrupted to", she said sarcastically. N gives a thumbs to J. "Thanks J, always looking out for me", N said distorted. J smiles and jump into the vents crawling away.

Uzi gets up from her spot and notices her move. Uzi grabs her wrench and takes the device off him, causing the virus on him to fail in response. "Why did you that, after what I just done to you", asked N confused. Uzi looks at N in sadness before speaking, "Beacuse...you have someone waiting for you". N looks slightly confused but seems happy that he isn't under the affect of the virus and anymore. Uzi and N go into the vents and head towards J and V.

"Dad, just go", was stuck in Khan's head as he ran to his house, seeing many drones head towards the evacuation zone, while some simply locked their doors in hope that they won't get caught. Khan enters the house to see Tessa startled by the sudden alarms and the red light flashing all over the colony. "Tessa quickly follow me", said Khan in panic. Tessa gets up and starts to run with Khan towards the evacuation spot. "What's going on", asked Tessa. Khan looks sad before speaking, "Uzi went outside and the murder drones followed her inside". Khan looks saddened again but speaks' "She told me to close the door and run....she wanted us to be safe".

Tessa look in shock and starts to cry a bit. "I should've stopped her, I knew she was going to do this but I didn't, it's all my fault, it's my fault she is gonna die", said Tessa with tears down her face. "It's not only your burden to bare, if I simply just told her to go home, this would have been prevented", said Khan sadly. Tessa crys more as she starts to speak again, "She going to die because we didn't wait have a plan". Khan looks confused, "What plan".

Tessa goes wide eyed, but manges to speak more clearly, "It turns out that the worker drones I knew on Earth were turned into the murder drones sent here to Copper-9, they were changed by a worker I knew named Cyn. She had some sort of weird power that allowed her to manipulate objects and allowed changes to beings as well. Doll knew of Cyn's power and when I told her my backstory, she seemed confused about what to do. So she went to me and Uzi and we came to an agreement. If I could change them, she wouldn't have to strike and if it couldn't happen, she would take her revenge". Khan is stunned by this information about not only Tessa, but of the murder drone's origin.

"I just hope she is alive", said Tessa. "Me to", said Khan. They reach the evacuation zone and try to hide but they can't as suddenly both J and V drop down. Tessa looks in horror at the two, seeing her best friends turned into these monsters. Thad who is with the group grabs a pipe and tries to fight back but fails as he gets grabbed by V in her class. But before she can kill him, a voice suddenly attracts everyone's attention. "Hey, put that conventionally attractive male down".

"Hey, put that conventionally attractive male down", said a voice. Everyone in the room looks to where the voice came from and see both Uzi and someone else standing near the side of her, a murder drone. Uzi nudges her elbow into N''s right arm. "Oh, and J, you're sometimes mean to be and I wish you weren't, just some constructive criticism, said N. "Nice", said Uzi as she fistbumped N.

"Noted traitor, we'll see what happens when I right-size your existence", replied J. "So, who do you wanna pick", asked Uzi. "Please J", said N. "To bad, good luck", said Uzi. Both of them then proceed to go to their respective fighters and engage. N changes his hands into claws and flies towards V and strikes her as she switches her claws out for a rocket launcher and fires trying to git him. J jumps in the air and tries to dive kick Uzi with her right leg but barely misses as Uzi manges to dodge to the side and proceeds to hit her knee with the wrench, casuing J to winch in pain. N after dodging some of the rockets get kicked by V to the floor as she prepares to fire another salvo at him.

N switches his claws out for a laser but instead it shoots out heart projections. "AHH, MY MIND'S IN A WEIRD PLACE, DON'T READ INTO THIS", replied N in utter shock and embarrassment. A rocket lands near him causing him to fly backwards into the other worker drones nearby. N waves towards them before going back to fighting. Uzi gets distracted by N flying towards the drones and J hit her with the side of her wings, causing Uzi to fly towards a wall.

Meanwhile the workers are trying their best to not get caught in the crossfire, so they start to hid behind some cargo boxes. Tessa is worried about what is going on and wants to step in but is to nervous to do so. Khan looks towards Tessa and sees her nervousness. "Tessa I understand you want to step in but, we can't defend ourselves in this fight", said Khan. Tessa looks to Khan and speaks," I know but, I was hoping we wouldn't have to fight them the first place".

Uzi is stuck in the wall, leaving her a open target and J goes towards her and prepares to stab her but Uzi manges to grab her wrench and slam it onto the eyes on top of her head, causing the yellow liquid inside to leak out and temporarily blinding J. Uzi uses this distraction to quickly get out of the wall and tries to reach for her railgun but J shoots a rocket near her feet causing her to stumble a bit. Uzi manges to stay on her feet and tries to aim at J but she quickly starts to fly towards her, moving erratically, not giving Uzi a clear shot.

In the air is V and N clashing with their blades instead of their claws. V manages to hit N's visor, causing some visual problems for N. N tries to hit V in retaliation but misses because of his damaged visor. V takes advantage and flies under him and kicks him in the back but N makes to stay in the air before almost hitting the floor. V starts to use her lasers and fire them towards N but he manages to dodges them. N fires a laser at V and hits her left wing, causing her to lose some balance, but she manages to stay in the air as well. V strikes N with her blades before switching them back to claws and trying to hit his face.

J hits Uzi with claws, causing her to hold her left arm in pain as her railgun is dropped on the floor. J pins Uzi to a pillar and prepares to stab her with her tail. N sees this and tries to go towards her but V once again hits his face, causing him to lose his sense of direction as V continues to fly around him. N is unable to progress towards Uzi as V keeps getting I his way. "WAIT, TESSA", yelled a voice. J tail hit its mark....but on someone else. J looks in front of her to see someone who looks like someone she was promised to see. In front of her is Tessa, who body blocked the tail in time before it could hit Uzi. Tessa holds her left side in pain, thankful that the tail didn't have time to her on center. J and everyone else looks in shock at Tessa.

"Tes..Tessa, is that, of my gosh, I just stabbed her, I stabbed her, I STABBED HER", said J in pure panic and anguish as she realized she stabbed her best friend. J falls onto the floor and backs up quickly. J holds her hands above her face mumbling noises as if she can't find any words for what just happened. "I was promised her and now I just lost her, what do I do", said J while yellow tears appear across her visor. "WHAT DO I DO" yelled J as she shut off but her sudden emotional outburst. J falls sideways limp on the ground, all that appears on her face is simply a reboot sequence. Tessa goes to Uzi and helps her off the ground.

"You okay", asked Tessa. "WHY ARE YOU WORRYING ABOUT ME, WHAT ABOUT YOU, YOU GOT STABBED WITH THAT NANITE ACID", yelled Uzi in response. Tessa is briefly startled but Uzi goes and hugs her. "I almost lost you", said Uzi with slight tears. Tessa pats her on the back to comfort her. Meanwhile the other worker drones start to get out of their hiding spots. V and N are still in shock about what happened, mainly V as she clearly remembers Tessa, but to see her like this....if felt wrong, she wondered what could've happened to her.

V starts to walk towards J and sees she is rebooting slowly....only at 1%. Tessa starts to let go of the hug and sees the other worker drones coming towards her direction. Tessa breathes in and calm herself down as she prepares herself for the questions. "You probably have all sorts of questions about me and my connection to the murder drones, don't you", asked Tessa to the crowd. A couple of them Nod is response.

"I'll tell you all then, I guess, no point in keeping it a secret", she said. Tessa goes over her life story. The workers are shocked by this newcinformation. N and V are shocked by some of the information, mainly N as he doesn't remember as much as V or J about his time at the manor. "That's, everything I suppose", Tessa in somber. She looks towards Uzi and starts to speak, "Let's go Uzi, give them time to think", Uzi nods and as she and her start to walk away.

The workers look at the murder drones in slight sadness but are still worried about them. V looks at them and flies into the air leaving a hole in the celling. N grabs J and puts her on his shoulders before speaking, "Sorry about this...mess, I'll take my leave". N this to cover up his upset look by with a smile but everyone around can tell he isn't happy. N then flies towards the hole made by V and takes his leave.

Tessa and Uzi are walking down the hall, the alarms and lights slowly disappearing as they continue their walk home. Tessa holds her side in pain as she walks but is happy it wasn't lethal. Uzi sees Tessa still holding her side and looks slightly worried. They arrive home and sit on the couch, exhausted and tired.

"Hey Uzi, could you find some bandages or something to wrap my injury", asked Tessa tiredly. Uzi nods and goes to find something to cover the wound. Uzi finds some medical tape and heads towards Tessa. "Before I do this, let me ask you something", said Uzi. "What is it", asked Tessa. "Do you...got any other clothes under your dress", asked Uzi in embarrassment. Tessa looks at Uzi appalled by the insinuation. "Of, course I do", said Tessa while crossing her arms. Uzi wipes the digital sweat from her visor in response.

"Well, you got to take it off so I can wrap up the wound", said Uzi. Tessa undoes some buttons on the back of her dress and takes it off, revealing a simple white shirt with a hole on the left of it from J's tail stab and her black shorts underneath. Uzi wraps her face up in embarrassment. "What", asked Tessa. "There's is a bathroom right over there", said Uzi pointing in it's direction. Tessa laughs in response at Uzi being flustered. "Okay, we'll I'm ready now", said Tessa. Uzi sighs and goes up to Tessa trying to wrap her injury, she lifts up the side of Tessa's shirt and wraps up the injury, trying her best to not make the wound more agitated. "Okay, it's done", said Uzi as she lifted down Tessa's shirt.

"It still hurts a bit but not as much as it did when it happened", said Tessa. "That's good at least", said Uzi. "We should go clothes shopping some time", said Tessa. Uzi nods at the idea. "We could bring Lizzy and Doll along to, since she seems kinda nicer to you", said Tessa. Uzi shrugs her shoulders. Tessa and Uzi continue sittingon the couch in silence before Tessa breaks the silence. "How did you get oustside this time, considering you don'tuse that small bent system anymore", asked Tessa. Uzi stares at her before responding.

"Well,I stole the spare keyboard my dad keep in room. Then I went to try to sneak through the doors but got caught by dad, tried to lie about me having a boyfriend, then I lied about how I was going outside to study the doors for a school project. Which somehow worked, I went to the spire and meet N there, we fought and he stabbed my right hand. Eventually I shot him in the head with my railgun, which I thought killed him but apparently murder drones can regenerate. He thankfully didn't recognize me when he regened. We talk for a bit and eventually I heard J and V coming back and booked it to the colony. Dad probably told you what happened next", said Uzi.

Tessa looks at Uzi's hand but doesn't notice any damage. "But your hand looks fine though and also they can regenerate", asked Tessa. "Yeah I don't know how they Regan either", said Uzi. "And to answer your other question....murder drone saliva can neutralize the acid by repairing the injury faster than just simply waiting for the injury to go away", said Uzi. Tessa laughs at Uzi as she connects some dots in her head. "Hah, you put your hand in N's mouth", said Tessa in laughter. Uzi gets embarrassed from the sudden outburst and curls up.

"Sorry, just thought it was funny", said Tessa, wiping tears from her face. "Strange that you cry real tears" said Uzi. "It's weird but then again my whole body is", said Tessa. Tessa smiles before speaking once again, "Uzi, I understood why you wanted to sacrifice yourself for others but please don't do something like that again". "Can't promise", said Uzi. Tessa and Uzi smile, finally having a moment to relax after everything.

Suddenly the front door opens and in comes Khan, smiling at Tessa and Uzi. Khan runs to the both of them and hugs them, briefly shocking the two. "Sorry just, happy everything went well", said Khan as he let go of the two of them. "Me to", said Uzi. "I'm happy you made it out alive", said Khan as he patted Uzi's head. "And I'm happy you made it out as well", Kahn said while smiling to Tessa. "I am to, I'm just surprised that the situation kinda went somewhat smoothly", said Tessa.

"Ehh...smoothly is kinda a strong word for what happened, given that at least 20 or so people are dead and as well some light panic at the info you shared at the evac zone", said Khan. "Oh, right, that did happen", said Tessa nervously as she rubbed the back of her head.

"Me and some other members of the worker defense force are gonna organize a meeting about the recent events to see what we do with the murder drones and well....just the future of the colony in general", said Khan. "I see", said Tessa. "I was wondering if you would like to join the meeting, given your personal experience with them", said Khan. Tessa thinks about and flashbacks to her old memories of the manor, the happy moments of all of them together and their final moments of the manor. "I will", replied Tessa. "Huh", said Kahn in response. "I'll join the meeting and hopefully give them a new chance on life, just like me".

"Tessa, even if they're allowed to be here, no will forget their actions, even if they didn't want to do it, they won't forget", said Khan. "They won't forget their actions either", said Tessa sadly. Khan simply nods at the thought. "Well, it's currently 6am...anyone want some breakfast", asked Khan. "Sure", said Tessa and Uzi. Khan smiles and goes to make...something, he'll figure it out. Uzi and Tessa go to the couch and turn on the tv, before quickly falling asleep on the couch, their tiredness finally catching up to them.. Khan smiles at the two. "A new day and now...a new future", he says.

Chapter Text

Khan looks at his kitchen, trying to come up with a meal for breakfast but is struggling on what to make, until a simple idea appears in his head, pancakes or more accurately replica pancakes. When Copper-9 was first colonized, who knows how many years ago, humans couldn't easily establish large scale farms yet, so Jcjenson helped by making replicas of food made out of a weird sludge like material. It didn't taste that different from regular food which was honestly what mattered the most to people. After a while though once farms and industrialization became more on the surface Repafood, as it was now called, was becoming slightly less popular due to people being able to grow their own food.

Despite the popularity dropping, Jcjenson found out it was perfect for drones to consume, so they allowed them to have it instead. Regular food, would have most likely messed up the inside of worker drones, mainly due to juices being produced by some food when eating. Of course though, some Repafood did have a safe version of the juices produced by food. So eventually drones could experience that savory part of meals just a bit longer.

Khan grabs some of the Repafood and gets some other Repafood branded products from his fridge, such as Repafood flour and Repafood eggs. Just as when he was about to start, a knock is heard on his front door. Khan's sighs and goes to open the front door, only to see Lizzy, Doll, And Thad there waiting.

"What are you three doing here", asked Khan. "We came to check on those two", said Lizzy while pointing to Tessa and Uzi asleep on the couch. "Me and lizzy figured we go and Thad just joined us randomly", said Doll. "I think it's fair for me to check on some friends, especially after what happened", said Thad. Khan smiles, knowing that Tessa meet good people and that Uzi has other friends that care about her.

"I was just starting on breakfast, wanna join, I got plenty for a few extra plates", said Khan. The three agree in response. "What are you making anyway", asked Lizzy. "Just some pancakes", replied Khan. The three then fully step in the house. "It's nice to them actually stop for once", said Lizzy smiling to the two asleep on the couch. "Yeah", said Thad. Lizzy looks at Uzi slightly sadden before speaking, "it feels nice being in place where I don't have to act like someone else". Thad smiles at lizzy before talking, "Uzi will accept you apology, it's gonna be okay".

"It just feels wrong to be here, after how I treated her for so long, sure I haven't been mean to her the past couple of days but I still feel wrong. If I should've defended her from how she was getting treated, but I didn't, I was scared to be left out from my classmates, scared to lose my status, then I just decided to join on the bullying. It felt wrong, being mean to her, for no other reason other than she was different and weird. I wanted to apologize to her so many times but couldn't bring myself to do so, didn't help that Uzi didn't want to interact with me after everything I and others did to her", said Lizzy.

"listen sis, I get you feel like Uzi won't forgive you, honestly she probably won't on the spot but down the road, she might forgive you. What you did was wrong but I'm happy you at least tried to fix it over the years. "Honestly, it was Tessa who made me want to try harder to apologize once again to Uzi, I always felt like I could be vulnerable around Doll, cause she believed in me trying to be better, but Tessa showed I could once again apologize and be vulnerable around other trusted people", said Lizzy.

"So...your one of Uzi's....apparently many bullies, huh", said Khan. Lizzy went cold and start to panic slightly, trying to make a response but was interrupted by Kahn. "Uzi always told me she had interaction problems at school, but never really told me much besides that. I'm happy you're at least trying to fix your issues. I wished mine could be easily fixed...but no simple action can fix over 17 years of neglect".

Khan takes a swig from his number one dad mug in shame. "After Nori's death, I became more distant to Uzi, didn't help she was only two at the time, so all the lack of me being there for her caused her to become what she is now. I always hated myself for neglect her but couldn't really fix it as Uzi didn't interact much with me either due to my actions. I'm happy she found Tessa, a proper friend in her life, one that gave her the positivity she needed, eventually me and Uzi started to interact with each other more, trying to bring back a connection that we both needed. I just wished it didn't take someone stepping in for me for her to be happy. I should've given her that positivity. But I'm happy that we're at least trying to interact with each other more".

Khan takes a swig once again. "I'm sorry, you three probably don't wanna hear about how terrible by parenting is", said Khan. "Mr doorman, we both have issues that we're trying to fix, as different as they're, we're both trying to become better, we should be proud that we're trying', said Lizzy. Khan smiles before speaking, "I guess we should". Lizzy and Khan stare at the couch, both smiling at Tessa and Uzi as they still sleep.

"Well, hopefully it goes well for the both of you", said Doll. "I hope so to", said Lizzy. Khan continues to make breakfast and finishes. Khan looks at the clock and notices it's almost 7AM. "Hey Lizzy, can you wake up Tessa and Uzi", asked Khan. Lizzy nods and goes to wake up Tessa first. "Hey, breakfast is done", said Lizzy. Tessa wakes up and yawns as she stretches. She looks towards Uzi, who is still asleep. "Hey Uzi, wake up, breakfast is done and for some reason Doll and Lizzy, as well as Thad is here", said Tessa tiredly. Uzi wakes up and stretches.

"Good morning sleepy head", said Lizzy as she waved her hand towards Uzi. Uzi lightly grumbles but smiles back. The group head to the table and sit down with their plates. "Thank you for breakfast Dad", said Tessa tiredly. Uzi and everyone else looks confused at Tessa. "What, did I say something wrong", asked Tessa. "You called him dad", said Uzi. Tessa covers her head in embarrassment. "I'm tired, shut up", said Tessa grumbled. Khan just laughs before speaking, "We all say things when we're tired, it's fine".

Tessa goes back to eating before Lizzy speaks, "I just realized, you're not wearing your dress". "You just noticed", said Tessa. "Honestly, I always thought it was just the dress you wear", said Lizzy. "Well clearly based on my white shirt and black shorts, it's not", said Tessa somewhat aggressively. Lizzy slightly backs her head back. "Sorry, just tired", said Tessa. "So, lizzy and Mr. Doorman, I'm pretty sure you have something to say to Uzi here", said Doll while cutting her pancake. "Huh", said Uzi. Lizzy and Khan suddenly freeze at the sudden spotlight on them.

"I'll go first", said Khan. Khan breathes in before speaking, "Uzi, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you for most of your life. It's just after Nori's death, I just felt.....empty and sadly I neglected you as a response. I shouldn't have done that, I should've tried to stay with you more...but....I'm what honestly what neither of you needed. I cared about my doors than you. That is absurd to me that I card more about them than you, my own daughter. When you brought Tessa to the colony and saw how happy you were, I felt like honestly a failure knowing that a person you. just met, made your life so much better and I should've done that".

Uzi stares at Khan in shock before talking, "Dad...I understand that...you, tired to do your best over the years and honestly, the past few days where we actually talked and interact where nice. It felt good to bond with you after the past years. We may not always understand each other but I'm happy to see you're trying to fix it, even if it takes time". Uzi has some tears coming across her visor before getting up from the table and hugging her dad. Uzi then looks at Lizzy. "Now what did you want to tell me", asked Uzi. Lizzy breaths in before speaking.

"I'm sure you remember when we first meet, everyone treated you finely at first until you started to....express yourself more. After that, everyone started to treat you terribly, just ignoring you and treating you wrong. I wanted to stop them but...I was scared to feel different. I was scared to be treated like you, so just went along with them, knowing how wrong it was. I wanted to try to apologize to you but my and everyone's damage was already done. But when I found Doll, someone who treated my like a regular person. I told her everything".

"I told her how I felt about your bullying and how I wanted to make it up to you. So when I meet Tessa, someone else who made feel safe to vulnerable and allowed me to be true to myself. I decided to finally not be scared and try to apologize to you, so I tried being nicer to you, thankfully that was the easy part. But this....apologizing part, it was harder to do and I hope...you can at least see I'm trying to change".

Uzi stares at Lizzy before speaking, "Lizzy...I won't be able to accept your apologize as easy as my dad's but I do see your trying to change. Just continue to that and maybe we can be friends in the future". Everyone stays silent, before Doll speaks, "Now that is taken care of, I'm heading off, have a good day you guys". Doll washes her plate and leaves. "So....I'm just gonna go as well , thanks for the meal Mr. Doorman", said Thad as he as well washes his plate and takes a leave.

"So...it's currently 8:30, what do guys wanna do", asked Tessa. "Honestly I don't know", said Lizzy. "I'm going to...you know what I'm taking the day off, said Khan. Khan heads to his room and closes the door. Uzi just kinda stands there before speaking, " I'm going back to napping", said Uzi as she heads to her room. Lizzy and Tessa are now alone in the kitchen. "Wanna go buys some clothes", asked Tessa. "Sure", sai Lizzy. The two make their leave and head out. Lizzy smiles knowing that she finally found her chance to make up for her actions. "What are you smiling about", asked Tessa. "Nothing", said Lizzy as the two go down the hallway.

Chapter Text

V and N are flying towards the spire, they're taking their time as N has to carry J's limp body. N struggles a bit to fly with some much weight dragging him down but manages it anyway. They reach the spire and go inside. N sets J on the the pod's chair, lightly. N and V simply stay silent, still freaked out about what happened at the bunker. Until N speaks.

"Are...you okay V", asked N. V simply shakes her head no. "Wanna talk about it", asked N. V nods yes at the question. "I just....I knew a lot of the information that Tessa said but to know she been here this whole time and was turned into...that thing, it makes me feel uncomfortable, if that even is the best word to describe it", said V. V looks towards J and sees that the reboot bar on her face is at 37%, which causes her to smile slightly.

"Did J know this information as well", asked N. "Most likely, given how she reacted when accidentally stabbing Tessa", replied V. They both go silent at the reminder of Tessa being stabbed. "Something I wonder about on the flight here was what did J mean by she was promised her", said N. "Seems that the company bribed J with the promise of Tessa", side V.

"And as it turns out, she was here all along", said N. "N, I'm sorry for being mean to you for our while time on Copper-9. I didn't want to be reminded of our past and I tired to stay away from you as much as possible, such as pretending I didn't know your name. I understand if you can't forgive me, I don't think I deserve either", said V.

N stays silent before deciding to speak, "V I do forgive you, after learning about our past, I would try to forget it to. But we can't, we have to use our past to help us become better people, to learn from our mistakes and to fix our future". N stretches out his arms for a hug and V takes the offer. "You're to nice for your own good, you know that", said V. N simple laughs.

V and N let go of the hug and turn to look at J, who is still rebooting. "Wonder how she's going to react once she awakes", said N. "Probably panicked", said V. J is currently at 52% now. "You know I haven't asked you yet but what happened between you and purple worker", asked V. "Well apparently she was looking for a replacement battery I think for her railgun, so she entered the spire. Then I spotted her after a bit and we fought and she shot me in the head. I regenerated and couldn't recognize her as worker drone, so we both talked a bit and she suggested that we work with the worker drones to repair the pod so we can leave the planet".

"Then you two started to come back and she left, running to the colony. I chased after her after J slapped me. I broke in the bunker and she tried to sacrifice herself for the test of the colony living there. I threw her into a darkened corner once you and J came along. When you left, I told j about what the worker drone told me and she planted a virus on me. The worker helped me and you know the rest".

V looks at J a bit mad considering what she did to N but let it go rather quickly. "Speaking of the worker drone, what was her name again, I'm sure you said it earlier but I genuinely forgot what it was", said V nervously. N simple smiles before speaking, "Her name was Uzi". "Uzi huh, I like that name", said V smiling.

"I hope J is gonna be okay after these....recent events", said N. "I hope so to", said V. They both stare at J and she is currently now at 67%. "Honestly I'm tuckered out after having to fight you and carry J, so I'm going to nap for a bit, goodnight", said N. N uses his tail and stabs into the spire, anchoring him upside down as he falls asleep. "I might as well get some sleep to", said V. She also anchors herself upside down and falls asleep.

"J, remember why you are doing this", said a voice. "I know but...is it possible to bring her back", asked J. "We can fix her but only if you decide go do your job", said the voice. J sighs but reluctantly agrees. "I will Cyn, you have my word", said J. "Good", said Cyn.

J violently wakes up, her arm outstretched in front of her, as if she was trying to grab something. Her eyes are wide and panicked but she soon become relaxed as she realized she was in the pod. J calms herself down and steps out of the pod and sees N and V asleep. She smiles at the two but suddenly N wakes up and notices J. "Oh hey, you're awake", said N happily. J look at him in confusion, wasn't he mad that she put that virus on him. J simply stayed silent. N drops down and walks towards her. J slightly backs up in response buts stops quickly.

"Why are you so happy about me", asked J in confusion. "Why would I be mad, you're awake after your panic attack at the bunker, I'm happy to you up and running", said N smiling. J look even more confused but spoke again, "I literally treated you terribly and put a virus on you and yet you still....you still, treat me nicely, why". J stares at N in sadness. N goes silent but speaks, "To be honest, I don't know but after seeing what happened to you at the bunker, I felt sad for you, sad that you hurt someone you cared about and I guess it was pity".

The duo go silent until a large thud is heard behind them and they see V standing behind them, not fully awake. "Nice to see you two", said V. "Hi....V", said J slightly nervously. "Good morning V", said N happily. V just simply smiles but goes to being serious quickly as she speaks, "So....you got some stuff to explain J". J sighs slightly but nods in agreement.

"Okay let's go in the pod to discuss", said J as she motions towards the pod. The trio go to the pod and J sits on the chair. "So, what do you want to know", asked J. "Who sent us here", asked V. "Cyn sent us here, not the company", said J. V and N go wide eyed at the response until N asked his question. "What is are actual reason for being here", asked N. "We were sent here to kill of potential enemies to Cyn's power and further her goal of consuming the planet", said J.

N and V once again go wide eyed but sort of calm down. "When Cyn was sending us to Copper-9, she promised me Tessa as a reward for doing our jobs here and honestly that was why I was so hard on all of you, I wanted her back....I just wanted my friend back", said J while tears appeared on her visor. N andV both go and hug J, surprising her but she quickly accepts it.

"What should we do know", asked N as he backed away from the hug. "We should make a timeline", said J. "Huh", said V as she also backed away from the hug. "If we make a timeliness of events it could help us solve another of our problems with the past and to possibly figure out our future, but we might need some help", said J. The three of them start to think until N gets a idea," How about we get Uzi and Tessa to help us". The girls look slightly confused but V agrees. "I'm not sure Tessa would want to see me, after what I did to her", said J sadly.

"J, when Uzi saved me from the virus and we went to follow you, she told me that her and Tessa wanted to try to turn us onto their side, she'll forgive you", said N as he put his hand on J's right shoulder. "I hope so", replied J. "Welp...let's go then, the bunker doors should be still open, given that I stabbed it", said N. The trio then start to fly toward the bunker and see the doors are closed, surprising N.

"They already fixed it", said N in confusion. "Well, they are called Worker Drones for a reason", said V. J simply smiles at the two. N notices J's smiles and is happy she seems to be doing slightly better. "I guess we have to knock then", said N. N then walks to the door and knocks hard on the door. N hears light shuffling and sees the door slightly open just enough for a pair of eyes to look through. "Oh, you three, what do you want", the voice asked. "We need Uzi and Tessa to help us with something important", said N. "Hmm, Khan did say you guys might show up, I'll go ask him first and see what his response is, wait until then please", spoke the voice.

The door then fully closes and the group wait in silent. A few minutes have passed and the door slightly opens. "Okay, Khan agreed to the demands, the people you requested will be here sometime soon, so once again please wait", said the voice. "Thank you", said N. "No problem", replied the voice as the door fully closes once again. The trio stay in wait for thirty minutes, trying to pass the time by simply throwing snowballs at each other or at random objects in the snow. Then the door open behind them and out comes Uzi and Tessa as well as Lizzy come, holding some shopping bags.

"So...what do you three need from us", asked Uzi. "Oh, hi Uzi, we need you and Tessa to help us understand, well the events of the past couple of years", said N. "Oh, we'll try our best then", said Tessa. Tessa looks at J and J looks away quickly in response. "Um..J are you okay", asked Tessa. "I'm....fine Tessa, just feel guilty for, you know, stabbing you", said J quietly. Tessa walks to J and hugs her, surprising J. "It's okay J, it was accident, you were doing your job and I tried to stop you and besides, she patched me up", said Tessa pointing at Uzi.

J looks over to Uzi and walks up to her, causing Uzi to be slightly nervous. "Thank you for helping her", said J. "No problem J", said Uzi quickly. "So....we're we heading", asked Lizzy. "Oh right, you're here, what were you two doing anyway", asked Uzi. "Me and Tessa were gonna go shopping and so I went to grab some bags but then got interrupted by someone calling for Tessa and you, I just follow her here, cause i was bored", said Lizzy. Uzi just sighs while Tessa giggles.

"Okay so we have to head to the pod and seeing as none of you can fly, one of us have to carry each one of you", said N. "Now to the pod", said N as he grabbed Uzi and started to fly towards the pod. "He makes friends easily", said V. "Good old N, always the happy one of the group", said Tessa. "I'll take the pink one, if that's okay", said V. "Sure", said J. V takes Lizzy and they fly toward N. J briefly stares at Tessa until she gets interrupted. "It's okay J, I trust you", said Tessa. J grabs Tessa and go follow the rest.

The group then arrive at the spire's entrance. N and Uzi are already there and V and Lizzy shortly arrive, as J lands last with Tessa in tow. "You know...the spire honestly doesn't look as bad as I thought it would", said Lizzy. The group then walks to the pod and inside is a whiteboard and some Jcjenson branded markers near it. "Okay, with everything we know, we shall create a timeline of events to help us figure out how certain events happened and how to possibly predict and prepare for the future" , said J.

"The first event is the fall of all life on Copper-9, which happened 40 years ago", said Uzi. J stares at her in confusion before speaking, "I thought it was 20 years". "Apparently Cyn lied to you about that as well, then again, the whole company probably lied about it to", said Uzi. "So anyways the second event it the manor", said Tessa. "Then our next event is what ever happened to Cyn to make her like who she is now", said J. "Then after that is us and other drones being made in to disassembly drones", said V.

"Next was the gala massacre", said N. "Next one up is me escaping the manor and being found by a group of Jcjenson people and being turned into what I'm now", said Tessa. "Then we're sent here to Copper-9 for Cyn's main goal. To get rid of potential threats to her power and for her to consume the planet", said J. "WAIT WHAT", yelled Uzi, Tessa, and Lizzy. "Oh, right I only told N and V that, surprise...", said J while laughing nervously. "So anyways, Tessa then crash lands 12 years ago", said Uzi. "And then I'm found by Uzi", said Tessa. J stares at Uzi.

"You found her", asked J. "I did", said Uzi proudly. "You just earned by respect instantly", replied J. Uzi simply smiles back. "So that's everything so far right", asked Lizzy. "Should be for now, unless new information gets found", said V. "So...what do guys wanna do now", asked Tessa. "You guys wanna go shopping around the colony, i got plenty of extra bags", said Lizzy.

"Sure", said the everyone else besides J. "I'll stay here, I kinda want to just relax for a bit", said J. "No problem and besides considering what that you three are the same size, we can probably find some clothes for you to", said Lizzy. "Thanks", said J. The rest then head off back to the bunker and after a brief exchange at the colonies door. It let's them all inside.

Chapter Text

Lizzy, Uzi, Tessa, N, and V are walking down the main hallway of the colony. V and N get some stares from passing drones, which was sort of expected, given that they broke in and fought not to long ago and now are suddenly back inside like nothing happened. "What are you looking at", asked Lizzy to some of the passing drones. They group of drones quickly walk away. Some other drones saw this and tried to look away from Lizzy's group as they passed by.

"So, where are we going exactly", asked V. "We're going to the store district", said Lizzy in excitement. "And where would that be", asked N in response. "If we turn right here and continue walking straight, we'll reach it", said Lizzy. The group continues their walk and reach the store district. N, V, and Tessa stare in awe at the district, it's many shop signs running down the seemingly endless stretch of hallway in front of them. "Oh, right,I haven't told you about the store district", said Uzi. "I'm gonna guess we missed a lot in my first tour of the colony", said Tessa. Uzi laughs nervously at Tessa's response.

"Now before we shop, I need to set up some rules", said Lizzy, earning a sigh from Uzi and V. "I have 1400 credits on me, that may be a lot but it could go quickly depending on what you guys buy. So, I'm giving each of you a budget of 200 each to spend. If you find something over that budget you want, we as a group will discuss about buying or not, and the rest is for J, since i don't what she likes ", said Lizzy. The four nod at Lizzy. "Okay, we're going to Ms.Jen's clothe store first, casue that was the original idea, for this anyway", said Lizzy. The group head to the store, painted mostly white with blue accents near the windows. The sign painted mostly blue besides the white letters displaying the shop's name.

"Hi welcome to my store...", said the owner in slight distress as she spotted the Disassembly drones in the back of the group. "What are you....five looking for today", asked the owner. "Just buying some clothes for some friends", said Lizzy pointing to the four behind her. "Hope you find what you're looking for then...", said the owner. The group wonder the white colored store and looks around the various racks of clothes set up. Uzi wonders to her spot and looks around for any purple or some what dark clothing. She spots some shirts and jackets and pursues through them and picks out two simple black shirts, which she stuffs into a bag that Lizzy gave her.

Meanwhile Tessa is wondering around looking at some new shorts and shirts. She wants to replace her current ones because even though her current pair of clothes are fine, she doesn't want to keeping wearing them all the time. She does also want to have another dress, but can't find one that she likes until she sees it, the perfect dress. A beautiful blue dress with white accents that surround the neck, sleeves, and around the trim. She stares in awe at it and grabs it immediately, happy with her find. She grabs a random pair of clothes to go along with it and stuffs them in her bag.

V and N are browsing the same area, given that they are bigger than workers, they needed to find some much larger clothes. Thankfully there was some racks filled with clothes that fit their size. N finds a random polo shirt and grabs it along with some cargo shorts. V looks at him slightly confused on why he picked those but then just shrugged at the thought. V looked around some more, trying to find a similar jacket to the one she always wear. She spots a white jacket with yellow stripes on the sleeves and takes it. V and N look happy with their finds.

Lizzy on the other hand is having trouble trying to find something for herself. She didn't think it would be so difficult to find clothes she liked but then she remembered something, she always wore her cheerleader outfit. Lizzy immediately questioned why she always wore it, she had plenty of clothes she could ware. So why did she always have the cheerleader outfit on? Then she realized why, to keep her look as the popular girl. This realization caused her to feel kinda sick, even after admitting it was an act, she couldn't really separate herself from that idea.

"You okay", said a voice as they put their hand on Lizzy's shoulder. Lizzy jumps back slightly, only to realize it was Tessa. "I'm...doing okay I suppose", said Lizzy. "Wanna talk about it", asked Tessa. Lizzy nods in response before speaking, "I just realized that I still try to carry the whole popular girl look, even if I don't have to", said Lizzy. "You can trust us, you know that, you can be who you want to be when your with us....we won't judge you", said Tessa. "Thanks", said Lizzy.

Eventually N, V and Uzi group back up with Lizzy and Tessa. "Got what you wanted I presumed", asked Tessa. The trio nod. "Well Lizzy is still looking around and we have to find something for J", said Tessa. The four of them go silent, trying to think of ideas of for what they want to buy J. "Let's get her a sweater", said N. "Does she even like those", asked Uzi. N rubs the back of his head in uncertainty. "Might as well throw in a pair of pants with those then", said V. N and V go to where they used to be and find the clothes for J.

Meanwhile Lizzy had just finished finding her clothes, a orange shirt and some Grey shorts. She goes to where the rest of the group is and they go to the front desk to pay. "Okay in total, this haul will cost 430 credits", said the owner. Lizzy kneels down to her shoe and pulls out a card, which confused the group. Lizzy scans the card to pay and she puts the cars back into her shoe. The group leave, carrying a bag with their respective clothes in them.

"So Lizzy, I don't mean to judgemental but why do you keep your card in your shoe", asked Uzi. "Well my cheerleader outfit doesn't have any pockets and it also helps prevent possible thieving", said Lizzy. Uzi just stares a bit before speaking, "So, what we do now, we still plenty left to spend", asked V. "Wanna grab some food", asked Lizzy. The group nods as they start to head to a much more opened area of the shopping district, the food court. Lined wall to wall with many different types of food being sold. Ever since the morning, it had been mostly quiet in the colony. Almost no lines and only some people eating at the various tables scattered around.

"The group split into two teams. Lizzy, V, and Tessa go one side while Uzi and N go the other side. Lizzy on her side orders some pretzels, while Tessa and V order some hotdogs. Meanwhile Uzi and N grab some simple chicken nuggets. The two groups eventually head to a table and sit down together. "Didn't know that worker drones could eat human food", said V. "We eat essentially copies of human food, it's made out of something called Repafood", said Uzi. "Apparently the humans who made it, found out that drones could eat to, so they just let us have it essentially", said Lizzy.

"Huh, neat", said V. The group finish their meal. "So...you guys had fun", asked Lizzy. "Yeah", said V. Uzi nods in response. "I hope we can do this more", said N. Tessa smiles at N's positivity. "Honestly, we could make this a usual thing, like maybe once or twice a month, cause if I want to bring Doll or J along, it's definitely gonna cost a bit more", said Lizzy. Uzi and the three nod at the idea happily.

The groups leaves the food court and heads out of the shopping district. Uzi looks at a nearby clock and sees it's almost 3:00PM. "A lot has happened today, huh", said Uzi. "Sure has", said Tessa. "Welp, I'm heading home, so buy you guys and enjoy", said Lizzy as she starts to walk away. "We're going to, J is probably worried about us", said V as she and N leave. "Welp, might as well head home to", said Uzi. "Yeah", said Tessa. The two start to head home, wondering what's next for them.

"Hey J, we're back", said N as he landed near the spire entrance. V followed suit landing to the left of him. "Hello, you okay J", asked N as he entered the spire and walked towards the pod. "Uh, V we might have a problem", said N nervously. "What happened now", she asked. "J isn't here", said N. "That's...odd", said V. N and V start thinking about where J could've gone, until V spots something in the snow. "Hey N, I see tracks in the snow", said V.

V and N get close to the tracks and it seems they go on for miles. "Why would J walk so far, she has wings", said V. N is also confused on why J wouldn't just use her wings as well. "Well, I guess we should follow and see if she is okay", said V. N bods and as he and her start to fly, following J's path in the snow.

A lone figure is wondering around the snow covered planet, slowly walking to a nearby ruined building, the figure is J. She is tired but trying to continue walking to her destination. She is carrying a large and Jcjenson approved duffle bag with her. Inside the bag is some personal memorabilia, such as branded pens and clipboards, and a few bottles containing oil. J is ragged from having to walk so much. "I don't get it still why won't my wings work, they worker earlier during the break in. They should still work now but why", she questioned.

J goes into the building, seeing nothing but the remains of old furniture scattered around, broken and tearing apart from time. She spots some signs, each one listing their associated furniture and price near them. She spots a few scattered papers but they turn out to just sales records, nothing of note to what she wants to find. J exits the ruins and walks down the many other ruins surrounding her. J keeps walking and walking until she accidentally finds something of note, a trap door in one of the nearby ruins.

J goes into the ruins and opes the trap door with some force. She climbs the ladder under it and slowly goes down, she then dawns on how she can't see the bottom of this ladder. She hopes there's nothing to bad down there. She finally reaches the bottom and turns around to see what she has discovered. She looks in shock as she seems to recognize the architecture of where she is, a Jecjenson facility. For the brief time she spent in Cyn's own personal Jcjenson space station, she always remembered the almost bright white walls that surround her and the light blue and orange trims that wrapped on those very same walls.

J takes a breath at her thoughts and walks in the almost completely clean room. Even on a dead planet, Jcjenson always somehow seemed to be almost unaffected. J explores the long and almost seemingly endless hallways, always looking behind her just in case, until she stops. She spots various computer systems, some still being active. J quickly gets on one and tries to find any information on the company and on Tessa, until she spots a file simply named Project: Merge. She clicks on it but it doesn't open, only to reveal it needs a password. J groans in frustration but clams down.

She switches her hand out for her virus depositor, she looks at in slight sadness, she tries to see if she can make the virus crack the code or if it can bypass it. J spends a few minutes tinkering inside her head, trying to change the virus, which is proving to be very annoying. After 10 minutes, she finally gets it and plants deploys the virus on the computer, bypassing the passcode and allowing her complete access to the file. J gleefully jumps up and down in excitement at her victory before quickly looking around herself, hoping no one saw her display.

J finds a audio log attached to the file simply labeled 1. She clicks on it, showing a video.

"This is experiment 1 of Project: Merge", said a Jcjenson employee. He turns the camera to a tube containing what seems to be a human. "With this project we'll see if we can further humanity far beyond it limits. We'll combine the subject with drone limbs to see if they can work together, if successful, we'll go further", said the Man. "I'll inform you when there is any updates", said the man as the camera cut to black before fast forwarding rapidly. "Failure, just failure", said the Man as the camera went back to normal.

"The subject's body couldn't handle the procedure and died of blood loss as the limbs failed to connect to the regenerative tissue being added", said the man as he slammed his fist onto a nearby table. "This concludes the first trail, ending log", said the man as the video ended. J stared in shock at realizing this man and possibly group of individuals, where the reason that Tessa was like this and even more so, she wasn't the first on they did this to.

J explores the rest of the file and finds a image labeled Plan. She clicks on it to reveal a gigantic picture detailing the Jcjenson branded prosthetic limb. A long list of notes are attached to the side, showing a series of steps.

Step one, modify drone limbs to be compatible with the human body.

Step two, convince higher ups for mass production of said limbs.

Step three, try to convince higher ups to only allow us for said production to control the process, this way we can able to track our future investments.

Step four, sell them for a high price, we can't afford to mass kidnap people who bare our product, better to due it sparingly.

Step five, try to kidnap subjects bearing our product, if you are unable to subdue them, kill them and require back the limb.

Step six, deliver the subject to the lab in our private sector, we'll handle the rest.

This plan should hopefully allow to not only get favor with the company, establishing me and my group to a higher position of power but to also allow me to possibly gain more freedom with my plan. With this project, I'll accelerate humanity to a new form, the bond of metal and flesh, the bond of the creator and the creation. We'll succeed no matter what.

J's eyes go wide as she realizes that, this man plan worked and that Tessa just so happened to have one of the prosthetics when she back on earth. J wonders on how many people he and his group did this to. Suddenly another realization hits her, she was in one of his groups facilities on Copper-9, who knows how many places his team held facilities at. J quickly closes the image and continues to look around.

She spots another audio log unnamed and clicks it hesitantly.

"This is experiment 354 of project merge", said the man. The camera turns to Tessa in a tube. "This experiment went much more differently than any other one before. Usually it just limbs replacement and trying to modify the body in some way but this....is so much more. We found her outside her Manor, covered it small amounts of oil and blood. She seemed scared, so I went to ask her what was wrong as the rest of my teamm scouted the area for potential threats to our arrival. She told me about a drone who managed to kill the residents and who also managed to control and modify the other drones to do seemingly anything she wanted".

"The most interesting part though what was she just saw before exiting the manor. The one behind the operation was a drone named Cyn and apparently it decided to use a human body as it's new disgue and look. A part of me look horrified at the idea until, I suddenly got inspired for my next idea. I grabbed a small syringe filled with a special compound that was able to quickly knock out a living organism. I stabbed her with it causing her to go limp in response. Me and my team quickly evacuated the area, heading to a Jcjenson branded space launch sight".

"We quickly get her to my lab and there we started out new project. I decided to do something fairly different just for the fun of it and it worked. I first made a entire upper and bottom halve of a drone, with some modifications it was, completely compatible with our prosthetics. So we combined the two and it worked like a dream, a strange side affect did happen near the arms as it started to spilt into two on each side, causing the arm to not fully regenerate over the limb and leaving an arm hanging on the side".

"Probably a side affect of us using regular drones limbs instead of our custom ones, we can't produce many more as the company is working on a new line of drones to finally do something about Copper-9 after 27 years. There's still some tissue that needs to regen put most of it working well, mainly the head. This is the first one to where the human brain and drone head actually succeeded in combining instead of the subject immediately dying. The company has been getting very suspicious of us recently, only took them 30 years to do so".

"If we get discovered early, our plan should be to send experiment 354 to any nearby planet or system. She'll be frozen in cryo to prevent the draining of power in her and to preserve the bio-mechancial parts of her as well. Remember my followers, if this succeeds, she'll be our ticket to a better species. This concludes the 354 trial, ending log", said the man as the screen went black.

J look closes the log. She stares in silence at what she learned. How Tessa got turned and how many people....the many people sacrificed for this ideology and belief. She leaves the facility and gets back onto the surface, still slightly shaking at her new found knowledge. She instinctively actives at her wings until they suddenly do appear, surprising J. J wonders what could've caused her wings to suddenly work and then it dawns on her. She couldn't activate her wings after her encounter with Tessa at the bunker. She must of accidentally suppressed her use of her wings as an emotional response.

J laughs a little, finding it funny how her wings work because she overcame a simple burden. J then hears what sounds like soaring nearby and spots N and V flying towards her. J waves her arms in the arm as a sign. N and V land near her. "Where were you, we got so worried when you weren't at the spire", said N. "I was going to fly but my wings weren't working, so I went for a walk and keep exploring some old ruins and tired to find anything interesting", said J. "And did you find anything", asked V.

"I did, I found out why Tessa is here and why she's the way she is, I'll explain more at the bunker, I'll need Tessa and Uzi to see this", said J. N and V stare in slight shock but nod as the three of them fly to the spire. "How come your wings work now", asked V. "I just had to....get some clarity is all", said J slightly smiling.

The disassembly trio land back at the spire, looking tired and ragged. "We made it, I thought I was gonna past out for flying back", said V. "You said it", spoke N. J walks towards the spire and put her bag down, thankfull she can relax. "Let's just relax for the rest of day, we all done to much today and honestly I can wait to tell them tomorrow", said J. N and V simply nod and the three of them fall asleep, hanging to the spire like a bat.

It's now finally the next day, everyone is now rested and ready to some what be active. J jumps down from her spot and stretches her arms, yawning while doing so. She spots some bag nearby the pod and see them filled with some clothes. "Guess these are what they found in the bunker", commented J before walking inside the pod and sitting in the chair. V and N then wake up and also drop down to the snow filled floor below. "Morning you two, here's some food", said J as she opened her bag and throw some drone limbs to them. N and V grab them and start eating them.

"What time is it", asked N. "It's currently 7:34am, so we're gonna have to wait for them to come to us", said J. "We really need to figure out some way for us to travel in the day", said V. J simply nods. N is eating his food before getting quickly remembering something, "Oh, J, we gotten you some clothes from our trip, I'll go get them for you", said N. N looks around for his bag and finds it, digging out J's pair of clothes for her. "Here they're, hope you like them", said N slightly nervously. J looks at the clothes N and V gotten for her, a simple Grey sweater and some light blue pants.

"Give me a second", said J as she went behind the pod. N hopes she like the clothes he and V found. J then reappears in front of them with the pair of clothes on. "Not bad", said J while smiling. N sighs, thankful she likes them. "You look good in those", said V. "Thanks", said J. "Now, what did you two get from your self", asked J. "I got a jacket and N got....something", said V, slightly giggling at N's choice in fashion.

V grabs her bag and changes from her bomber jacket to her newly acquired white jacket bearing yellow stripes on the sleeves. N quickly covers his face and turns around, getting embarrassed my V's lack of apparent decency. J sighs at N's response but understands why. "So, how do I look", asked V. "You look...look...you look great", said N stammering. V simply smiles. "What about you boss, how do I look", she asked. "Look good", said J. "N, your turn", called out V.

N grabs his clothes and goes being the pod to change. He exits and appears near V and J in his polo shirt and cargo shorts. "How do I...look", asked N nervous. V is slightly laughing at N's choice of clothes while J is just confused on his outfit. "I'll say this, it matches your positivity", said V. J keeps trying to think of something but keeps failing to do so. "It looks...good on you", said J.

"Thanks", said N. "Okay, now that the fashion show is over, how are we gonna contact the others to give them the info I had discovered", asked J. "We could try to sneak under the sun using some scrap metal", said V. "Possibly", said J. "We could just, sneak there under a box or something", said N. J and V stare at him, pondering the suggestion.

"If only it was as cloudy as it was yesterday, wouldn't be a problem", said V. "After some consideration, we'll do the box idea", said J. "Really", asked N and V. "Find some large enough boxes and we'll try to sneak to the bunker", said J. V stares at J slightly confused about the whole idea, but then again, she didn't have anything better. N, V, and J look around the spire, trying to find something to cover themselves until N finds a large box, perfect for him to use. "Found one", called out N to his teammates.

V finds another box nearby. "Found another", she replied. J looks at the walls, hoping to find something, she then stares at the roof and sees a couple boxes up there, confusing her as to why they were up there in the first place but shrugged it off. "Found the last one", said J as she flew up and then quickly landed down with the box in her hand. "Okay, everyone ready", asked J. N and V nod. "Good, prepare to crawl", said J as she put the box over her and started to slowly crawl. N and V couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of this plan.

"N, make more plans often, J looks ridiculous and is probably mildly annoyed it's working", said V as she put her box on and crawled away. N follows suit and starts to crawl along with V. A, few minutes later, they reach the bunker's entrance and thankfully there's at slight roof over the door, giving them enough shade to take their boxes of completely. "Now, that was an experience", said J. The three of them laugh before J knocks on the door. Once again, the door slightly opens and the messenger appears. "What do you want", ask the messenger.

"I found information regarding Tessa that some she and some others need to know", said J. "I see...wait please", said the messenger as the door closed. "I should cook up some coffee before I go", said the messenger. He exits the long corridor and enter a nearby office, making some coffee before leaving to relay the message, like he also does for others.

Inside the Doorman household, Tessa, Uzi, and Khan have just finished making breakfast. It was just some waffles but even then, simple is always good. "So Tessa and Uzi, I been thinking about something for a while and I want to ask you two about it", said Khan. "What is it", asked Uzi. "Ever since you been here Tessa, I always felt kinds bad that you have to sleep on the couch and so I have a possible idea for the situation. Uzi, if you're okay with this, how about I get the both of you...a bunk bed", said Khan. Tessa and Uzi think about it before Uzi speaks, "I wouldn't mind".

"Even though I don't mind sleeping on the couch, I wouldn't lie, I do miss sleeping on a bed", said Tessa slightly laughing. "So...this a yes", asked Khan. "Yes", the two of them say. "Okay, just wanted to make sure", said Khan. Then the three hear a knock on the front door. "I'll go get", said Khan as he walked towards the door. He opens it and sees the messenger waiting. "Oh hi messenger, what do you have for me today", asked Khan. "The murder drones, well the one with the pigtails, said she had found information on Tessa and wanted to share it with yall", said the messenger. "I see...let them inside", said Khan. "No problem, I already let them in once", said the messenger as he walked away.

"What was that about", asked Uzi. "Apparently, one of your friends had found some info about you, Tessa", said Khan. "I see", said Tessa. "They're being let in know", said Khan. J,V, and N are waiting patiently until the door fully opens. "Follow me", said the messenger. The trio follow him to the Doorman household. "Have fun", said the messenger as he left. J takes a breath and knocks on the door.

"Hello", said Khan. "Hi....", said J nervously. "Come in", said Khan as he backed up, letting the trio inside. "So...what do you have to show us", asked Uzi. "Do you, by any chance, have a way to look at people's memories", asked J. "I can, I used to just use to momentarily control people's body", said Uzi. "....neat", said J. "Nice to see you three", said Tessa as she ran up to the, and hugged them. "Nice to see you to", said N. "Hey J, follow me", said Uzi as she beckoned J to her room. J follows suit.

"I need to put this on your head, don't worry, the only side affect I seen is possibly fire erupting your head, but since you can regenerate, that might not be an issue", said Uzi casually as she brought up a large dome like device. "I labeled the file containing my memory of the information as TESSA", said J as the device is put on her head. "Well, that is gonna makes things alone easier", said Uzi.

A few minutes have passed and besides the one fire almost catching her room on fire, it went well. Uzi managed to find it and was able to convert it into a drive. "Okay, it's done", said Uzi as she removed the device from J's head. "Thank you Uzi, this means a lot", said J. Uzi smiles, "No problem", she said. Uzi and J exit the room. "Okay, got the information, everyone ready", asked Uzi. Everyone nods in response. Uzi plugs the drive onto the TV, slowly it starts to show J's perspective and some parts of her trip exploring the ruins.

The footage cuts to J climbing down a latter before turning around and seeing she is in a Jcjenson facility. "Were did you even find this", asked V. "I spotted a trapdoor in one of the ruins", said J. The footage skips to the the room with the computers, she clicks on a file, until it shows a password being required. J then modifies her virus arm and uses it to bypass the password. "You got to give me some of those", said Uzi. "Maybe", said J.

J clicks on an audio log and it shows the video shows the man who started this. "This is experiment 1 of Project: merge", he said. The group are stunned by the footage, seeing the human in the tube...dead and simply being called a subject, not treated like a living thing. Uzi stares in disgust, "Of course Jcjenson would do this", she says. "Trust me, it would be easier it that was the case", said J. The audio log ends and the footage cuts to the image, displaying the plan and the prosthetics. "Aren't those the prosthetics I got that one time", asked Tessa.

"Yes they were", said J. In the footage, J looks to the side of the image and sees the plan made by the man and his group. Everyone stares in disgust at this plan. "So....he managed to succeed in his plan then, given everything that has happened", said N. J nods in response. "How many people were used for this", asked Tessa. "You'll see", said J sadly. The footage cuts to the last audio log.

"This is experiment 354 of Project: Merge", said the man. They all stare in horror that his many people were lost and kidnapped for this experiment. They wonder how many were killed, given that the plan did mention to kill anyone they couldn't subdue. They see the camera looking at the tube, with Tessa inside. The footage played out the exact same, detailing everything from the inspiration to why she crashed landed here. The audiolog ends and J walks away from the computer, thus ending the footage.

They all go silent at the info being revealed. "...I really hoped I was just a one and done, but to know they've been doing this for so long, it hurts", said Tessa as she slightly cries. Uzi hugs her, calming her down. "I need some time...I'm going to go hang out with Lizzy and Doll for a bit", said Tessa as she left the room and exited from the house. "As much as this hurt to watch, I'm happy you found this", said Uzi.

J nods lightly. "I'm happy we have answers but still...it feels worse than I thought", said V. "Hopefully, he and his team are long gone, we just need to focus on Cyn and her plans for Copper-9 for now", said N. "Right", said Uzi. "Since this is your first time actually in the colony besides yesterday, would you like a tour", asked Uzi. "Sure", said J. The two of them leave to go explore, leaving N, V, and Khan alone together.

"You two can relax here if you want....", said Khan as he goes to his room. N and V sit on the couch, wondering what to do now. Hoping for a better future is on the way.

Khan exits his room after an hour, tired and a bit ragged. He is still trying to process what J had shown them but is handling it much better now. He looks towards the couch and sees N sitting there, watching a random movie. "Hey N, where is V", asked Khan. "She went outside to get some food", said N. "I see...", said Khan. Khan walks to the kitchen and makes himself a cup of coffee.

"What are you watching", asked Khan. "Uh....I don't know", said N nervously. Khan sighs before sipping from his mug. Then the door opens up to reveal V carrying a bag. "I brought back food", said V. "Thanks V", said N. "No problem", she replied. She then spots Khan standing near the couch. "Oh, hi Mr.Doorman", said V. "Hello V", he said tiredly. V sits on the couch with N and brings out a arm and starts chewing on it. "If you're gonna eat, at least try to not leave any oil in my house, pain to clean off", said Khan.

"We'll try sir", said N. Khan just sighs slightly but can't help but smile at N's positivity. Then something catches his attention. "I just realized something...what are you guys wearing", he asked. "You just noticed", asked V. "We got these on a shopping trip with Tessa and Uzi when Lizzy suggested the idea", said N. "Of course", said Khan.

"Are...you okay Mr.Doorman", asked N. "I....just....even though I know your past and why you're like this, I can't help but just see...the same murderers I hid from for years", said Khan. N gets slightly saddened by the statement but agrees that it must be weird to have murders on your couch, acting like nothing happened yesterday. "I'm trying my hardest to see you three as something else but I can't help but just see the ones who took away my wife", said Khan. Khan holds back his tears before taking another sip. V is hearing this conversation and trying to ignore it to the best of her abilities.

"I...understand Mr.Doorman, if you want we could leave", said N. "You don't have to, if anything having you guys here might help me change my view on you", said Khan. Khan takes a sip from his mug. "I just...need time to adjust to everything, everyone else seems to be doing well, you literally made friends with my daughter and tried to kill her in the same day and she acts the same way as she did the day before that", said Khan. "Speaking of that....I would like to apologize for my actions that day", said N. "Look, I understand and honestly you seem like a good person, I just need time to accept this", said Khan.

"If you don't mind me asking, what was your wife like", asked N. Khan takes a breath before speaking, "After the core collapsed, I found Nori under some snow. She seemed to be trying to escape some facility. We meet and then a few weeks later, we became official. I was happy to have someone so caring and nice in my life. She had her quirks, such as choice is music and her whole Bite Me phrase". "I think I heard Uzi say that a couple of times when we were following J and V through the vents", said N. "She is a lot like her mother", said Khan.

"Anyways back to the story", he said. "She had a knack for being creative, always making some sort of new device, only for it to blow up in her face. One day though...she told about something called the sky demons". "Sky demons", questioned V. "As it turns out....she was referring the you guys. She had drawings filled with them as well as apparently knowing about Cyn.", said Khan.

"I tried to ask her about it but she didn't tell me that much. A few days have passed and she suggested to have a kid, so we,had Uzi. We manged to raise her for 6 years was killed by one of you", said Khan as he looked down saddened. V and N stay stunned with silent. Even if they don't know who did it, they both feel responsible for taking away Uzi's mother. "Even though I don't know if I did it, I want to say I'm sorry", said N. "I'm sorry as well", said V.

"Even if one of you two did...I'm happy you're trying to be better. Sure it wasn't your choice to be turn into what you are now but you two are reasonable for your actions", said Khan. "Thank you sir", said N. Khan takes a sip from his mug, finally drained of coffee. "I hope that Tessa is doing well, given what she was shown", said V. "I hope so to", said Khan. "Well...what do we now", asked N. "Uhhh...yeah I got nothing", said Khan. "Welp, back to mindless TV", said V. N and V continue relaxing on the couch while Khan just watches from behind.

A few minutes later, a knock is heard on the front door, briefly scaring the trio. "I'll..go it", said Khan. He opens the door as sees the messenger on the other side. "What is it this time", asked Khan. "The meeting is almost readt to be set up, be ready in a hour", the messenger replied. "I see, thank you for telling me", said Khan. "No problem, been doing this job for years", the messenger replied.

The door then closes and Khan looks towards the duo on the couch. "What was that about", asked V. "The meeting about what to do with you guys is starting soon", said Khan. "I see", said V. "Well then we'll wait here then until your meeting is over, will also be easier so you can tell us immediately about the result", she continued. Khan nods at the response. "I hope it goes well for both sides", said Khan.

Uzi and J have just left the house and are walking down the hallway, with Uzi in the lead. "So...what is Tessa like, for you", asked J. "She's...very nice and positive and honestly feels nice to be around", said Uzi. "I see", replied J. The two continue walking for a bit until they reach Uzi's classroom, which hasn't been opened since the day before the break in. "This is where I and some others go to study and learn", spoke Uzi. "I always wondered what a classroom looked like, Tessa was always home schooled", said J.

The two continue walking until they reach the cafeteria. "Here is where we usually get food when where in school, not sure if you guys can even Repafood", said Uzi. "I think I heard of Repafood before, got first invented on Copper-9 but quickly spread to other planets shortly after", commented J. "Huh, neat", said Uzi. The two walk away from the cafeteria and Uzi leads J to the store district.

"Here is the spot where most people spend the credits they earn from their jobs and onto food from the court not to far away", said Uzi. "So this where they got those clothes for themselves and me", said J. Uzi and J are walking down the district while J is looking at the many shops as the two pass along them. They eventually reach the food court area and Uzi goes to on of the shops and orders some food for the two of them and to test out a theory.

"Got some food", said Uzi as she sat down near a table. J follows her and sits at the table. "So....what was Tessa like for you when you where back on Earth", asked Uzi as she bit into her pretzel. "She was....the best thing to ever happen to me. I remember when she found me, barley visible under the pile of dead workers I was buried in. She pulled me out of there, I remember being so scared as she pulled me out and picked me up to the manor. But then she fixed me, helped put me back together.

After she finished fixing me, I wanted to dedicate my self to her, to try to help her in any way possible. I...this is gonna sound silly", J said as she tried to cover her face in embarrassment. "It's probably not as bad as you think it is", spoke Uzi. "Oh, trust me, it is", said J as she took a breath. "I....wanted to be more in Tessa's life then just a drone, I wanted to be more than a friend", said J. "You're not implying what I think you are....right", asked Uzi nervously. J just nods in response. "I wanted to be someone who could love her, especially since she didn't have many friends to really interact with", J said.

"I wanted to fill in that void for her, for what she did for me. I wanted to be...human like her, I was scared she like me as a drone, so I always dreamed of the idea. Then when the gala massacre happened and me, N, and V were changed into our disassembly forms, Cyn told me she could make my dreams and desires real, she could bring Tessa back and make me human like her. I went along with her plans, purely out of my sheer desire and wanting. "It's funny though...I did in a way achieve my dream or at least half of it. But honestly seeing how happy she is here with everyone and everything before us showing up. It made me feel bad for this wanting....this need to love her as much as I did. She has friends more than just us three now, she has you to thank for giving her a new life, why wouldn't she pick you or someone else to care about instead", said J. Uzi and J go silent in slightly awkwardness.

"So...how are you enjoying yourself so far", asked Uzi. "I'm enjoying it so far", said J. J takes another bite of her pretzel. "Salty", she replied. "By the way...is the Repafood...working to cool you down", asked Uzi. "Hmm....let me check", said J as a bar is suddenly displayed on her visor reading heat level. She takes a bite of the pretzel and the bar goes down by 5%. "Huh, guess it does", said J as her visor displayed her usual eyes. "Well that's good new then, you might have a chance to live in the colony then", said Uzi. "Don't get your hopes up", said J as she finished her pretzel. "Right", she replied.

Lizzy and doll are talking near some lockers when the two hear some footsteps coming towards them. They look to the left and see Tessa walking to them, ragged and with slight tears in her eyes. "Tessa are you okay", asked Lizzy in worry. "I...found out why I was made like this...", said Tessa sadly. "Let's discuss in a private area", said Doll as she beckoned the duo to follow her. They follow Doll to her house and they go inside. "Okay, now that we're somewhere private, we can talk", said Doll.

"If you..you're comfortable, that is", said Lizzy in nervousness. Tessa sits on a nearby couch before speaking, "I always wondered if I was one of a kind thing, as it turns out....I'm not", said Tessa. "What do you mean by that", asked Doll. "J found some information while we're apparently shopping yesterday, it revealed my origins on why I'm like and why I was sent here to this planet. As it turned out it was a group of Jcjenson officials that did this but they acted separately towards the main company. The leader of the group believed that merging humans with drones would make humanity essentially better than before", said Tessa.

"I..see", said Lizzy as she sat on the couch with Tessa. "Considering what you said about you not being the only one...if I may ask, how many were...used", asked Doll. Tessa shakes a bit before speaking, "Three...three hundred and...353 before me, as I was the last one and seen as the...success", said Tessa with tears down her face. "That many", said Lizzy. "And if possible...how long was this going for", asked Doll. "If..if I remember correctly it lasted at least 31 years", said Tessa as she wiped some tears from her face".

"I'm nothing more than just a freak, a thing, a-", said Tessa before she interrupted by someone else. "YOU AREN'T A THING", yelled Lizzy in saddened frustration. The outburst startling Doll and Tessa. "You're a free thinking person, you're human, your aren't a thing, nor a freak and whatever words you were going to say", said Lizzy as she calmed down. Tessa has light tears strolling down her face, "You...you really mean that", she asked. "I mean it with all my love", said Lizzy before she goes slightly wide eyed at her statement. "I..uhh..I mean..my..my heart...yes I said that", said Lizzy quickly. Tessa lightly laughs a bit wiping her tears away.

"Thank you, truthfully you two", said Tessa. "I didn't do anything, I just asked questions", said Doll. Tessa laughs a bit at Doll's somewhat blunt response. "Are you...feeling better', asked Lizzy. "I am feeling better...just still...uncomfortable with what I learned", said Tessa. "Understandable", replied Doll. Tessa gets off the couch and grabs both Doll and Lizzy for a hug. "Thank you so much from being my friends", said Tessa. "No problem", said Lizzy. "Your welcome", said Doll. Tessa let's go of the hug. Then a knock is heard on the front Door.

"Who is it", asked Doll. "It's Uzi, may I come in", she asked. Doll goes and unlocks the door to let her in. "Okay you're here, Tessa the meeting is starting in 10 minutes, we got to go now", said Uzi. "What meeting", asked Lizzy. "The meeting is about what we're going to do with the murder drones", said Uzi. "Hopefully they can stay in the colony", said Tessa. "We'll as it turns out, they can eat the Repafood, it can cool them down like oil, so that should definitely help our case", spoke Uzi. "How did you find that out", asked Doll. "Me and J hanged out a bit and went to the food court area and we found out there", said Uzi.

"Huh, neat", said Doll. "Yeah so anyways, we got to go, so bye you two", said Uzi as she left. "I'll be taking leave then as well", said Tessa as she left before waving bye. The door closes and Doll and Lizzy are left alone together. "So...what did you mean by all my love", asked Doll jokingly. "IT WAS JUST A MISTAKE", said Lizzy loudly. "I'm just joking", said Doll smirking. Lizzy thinks about why she said that and wonders....would it work out to be more than just friends?

10 chairs and one long table that stretches across the room, this simple room has been use for meetings forever. Now once again, it's been called upon for another discussion, but one of much more importance than usual. The discussion of what to do with the murder drones after the break in 2 days ago. 5 figures are already sitting there, waiting for somebody. The door then opens.

"Ah, there you are Khan, was wondering when you show up", said one of the figures. "Sorry, I'm late but we still have to wait for some people", said Khan. "I thought it was gonna be only you and Uzi attending this meeting, who else did you invite", asked another voice. "Oh calm yourself down John, it'll be fine, besides...might make this even more fun", said a feminine voice. "Oh course you said that Jen, you always find someone else to invite to these things anyway", said John. "Alright you two, calm down", said another voice.

"Boo, it was just starting to get fun Mike", said a voice. "Oh shut it Jim, you always like to see us argue", said John. "Both of you, quite", said a voice. "Fine, Mr. Ronald", said Jim. "So anyways...who is this mysterious person that you invited to our meeting", asked Ronald. "You...you'll see once they arrive", said Khan slightly nervous. "Very well then", said Ronald.

The door then opens once again as two figures come inside. "Sorry if we're late, had to find someone", said Uzi as she stepped in. Trailing behind her is Tessa, who is slightly anxious about this whole ordea she has put herself in. "Hel...hello", said Tessa weakly as she closed the door behind her. "You brought Tessa with you this meeting", said Ronald. "Yes, I think it's perfectly acceptable given with what she lived with and the information she passed to the ones at the evacuation zone", said Khan.

"Let's hope so then", said Ronald. Khan, Uzi, and Tessa take their places at the table with the three of them sitting near each other. "Today's meeting will be over the break in two days ago by our feared threat in the sky, the murder drones, we will discuss what to do with them, given all the recent information we now know and as well as their work here on Copper-9. With some of the new information given by Tessa over there, the murder drones weren't sent by the company but by a worker drone named Cyn. This one fact changes everything we known for the past 13 years they were here", said Ronald as he briefly stopped.

"If I may ask Tessa, could you briefly remind us who Cyn was before the events", asked Ronald. "Ye..yes sir.....Cyn was a Worker drone I found outside of the manor, I found her and repaired her like the others before. She had a strangely standard robotic voice for a worker, but it honestly gave her more personality for it. I couldn't find a way to properly fix it anyway. She served as a maid for my family. The second most defining feature of Cyn was her Yellow eyes, which no other drone had....that should've been a sign that something was wrong. She was seen as weird by almost all the other worker drone staff and as well as my family.

Then there was the Gala massacre....an event in which Cyn took control of the other worker drones and made them...slaughter everyone there, she seemed to have some sort of almost....magical power to her", said Tessa. "Magical power", asked Jim confused. "Yes..when me and J were confronting her, she seemed to be able to just block anything thrown around her, even when I attempted to shoot her, the bullet simply curved around her and shatter the window behind her. Then when se held her hand up, a strang symbol appeared, a hexagon with three arrows, two at the bottom corners and one at the top", said Tessa nervously. Khan starts to lightly sweet at the mention of the symbol, which is noticed by John.

"You okay Khan, you're sweating", asked John in slight concern. "I'm perfect fine, John", said Khan trying to wipe away the digital sweat on his visor. "This might be a random guess, but do you possibly know about that symbol Khan", asked Jen. Khan sweats even more at the question. "Huh, seems you do know about it", said Jen smirking in her success. "What do you know about the described symbol Mr.Doorman", asked Ronald.

Uzi and Tessa look confused at Khan, what would he know anyway? Khan takes a deep breath before speaking, "That symbol is called the Absolute Solver. It's a program that allows the user to manipulate the reality around them and as well to modify the users body. Nor...Nori had the solver when I found her. She was able to use it freely but she had issues when she used it". "And what where these issues", asked Ronald. "She overheated when she used the solver for to long or to much. At first it was fine, she just simply had to eat Repafood to cool herself down but then....it was getting worse until she....required a more...exotic source to solve her problem", said Khan.

"Oil", said Uzi in slight shock. Khan nodded sadly in reply. "I found her one day eating a worker, we look at each other in pure horror. She used her solver to lock the door behind and explained to me the issue. I was shocked but understood why she had to. It was rough to get used to at first but quickly became routine. But then her...rambling started to occur", he said.

"what rambling", asked Ronald. "She talked about something called the sky demons, which were the murder drones that were gonna be sent here. Based on the ramblings from her papers, she knew about Cyn as well. She knew about these events a few days before they happened", said Khan. "....I see, Khan after this...show us the papers", said Ronald. "Yes sir", said Khan nervously. "Before we continue, I have some extra info to share as well", said Khan. "Very well, share it with us", said Ronald.

"Nori wasn't the only one with the solver....Yeva had it as we well", said Khan. "Yeva, as in Doll's mom", asked Uzi. "Yes....she had the solver and she found out something else about the solver as well, it's.......transferred to offspring", said Khan nervously. "You mean to tell me....both Uzi and Doll have that...thing in them", said Jim. "Yes...if I remember the solver usually activates automatically in stressful situations. So possibly Doll has her awakened ever since her parents died and Uzi might have it activated soon, given what happened recently", said Khan.

'Is that all", said Ronald. "Yes", replied Khan. "Good and thank you for the information, now back to the main issue, what do we do about the murder drones", spoke Ronald. Everyone is in silent, especially Uzi given she just learned she might have some sort of eldritch power in her. "Nobody got anything", said Ronald. "....they don't have to eat oil as much...I found out they could eat Repafood as a ethical way to cool themselves down", said Uzi nervously. "That's...actually a major deal, given they always ate our kind...but they'll probably have to consume oil anyway, given that our food probably doesn't cool themselves down as much as our oil", said Mike.

"How about this....we allow them to be inside for a week and see what happens, anything bads happens, we kick them out, if not allow them to live here permanently", said Ronald. Jen, Jim, John, and Mike think about the idea before nodding in agreement. "Okay...that's the plan then...one week, see what happens, then decide from there", said Ronald. "Welp...I'm going to go home now", said Mike as he left.

the other three members start to leave as well, leaving only Ronald, Tessa, Uzi, and Khan alone. "Tessa....I hope your friend can stay here, they aren't obviously bad people, but given their actions, it's hard for the colony to move past that....I do hope your friends can live here, so make sure they act alright", said Ronald. "Thank you for this chance Mr.Ronald", said Tessa. Ronald then exits the room, leaving the three alone. "We're going to talk about this when we get home", said Uzi mad. "I....understandable", said Khan. "Let's look at the bright side, we have a chance for them to actually live here now", said Tessa.

"I guess you right", said Uzi slightly smiling. "Now then...let's go home", said Tessa. "Yeah....I'm tired from this", said Uzi. The three close the door, leaving the room now empty once more.

Lizzy finds herself in a strange place, a place she somewhat recognized from various photos and footage of, a cabin. She looks around slightly confused but quickly accepts the new place she is living in. It feels like home to her strangely enough. She hears what sounds like cooking and goes to the kitchen to see someone standing there cooking. "Oh, hi Lizzy, you're home just in time, dinner is almost ready", said the figure. Lizzy couldn't recognize her at first until she look closer at the figure and realized who it was, it was Tessa.

Instead of her usual look of metal and flesh she looked...completely human, somewhat. It was still obvious she was a drone but all of her exposed drone parts were covered in skin. The only visible parts that weren't were her eyes and teeth. She wore a white dress gown covering the entire body, the only visible thing was just her high heels. Lizzy stared at Tessa but went and sat a the table nearby, covered in a white sheet with a flower pattern on it. She sat there in quiet. "Dinner is ready Lizzy", said Tessa.

Tessa then arrives to the table with two bowls of soup. She gently places them down and the two began to eat. The house was completely silence, the only sound being the two eating in peace. "Hey Lizzy, may I ask you a question", said Tessa. "Sure", said Lizzy as she close her eyes on the next bite. "Do you think I'm pretty", asked Tessa.

"Why of cour....", spoke Lizzy as she suddenly stopped in shock. She looked at..what was supposed to be Tessa, but it was nothing more than just muscles and tendons, looking back at her. "What's wrong dear, am I not pretty", the skinned Tessa asked. Lizzy froze, she wanted to look away so bad but couldn't...until something tapped her shoulder. Lizzy spun around quickly in panic, only to see Tessa behind her, in her usual attire and look. "Who were you talking to", Tessa asked. Lizzy turned around to the other Tesaa not there, not even her bowl.

Lizzy turns around again only to see the skinned Tessa taking the other ones space. Lizzy wakes up in complete fear, breathing heavily. Her brother Thad, wakes up from Lizzy's violent wake up and sees Lizzy shaken. "You okay sis", asked Thad in worry. Lizzy calms down a bit, happily realizing she is safe and secure. " I'm...fine Thad, it was just a nightmare", said Lizzy.

"Do you wanna talk about it", asked Thad. "Sure", said Lizzy. Lizzy takes a breath before speaking, "I woke up in one of those cabins, like that ones in those camping ground photos. Tessa was there, all her exposed drone parts were covered in skin and she wore a beautiful white dress gown. She was making soup and so we sat at the table. She then asked me a question". "And what was that question", asked Thad. Lizzy hesitates slightly but speaks, "If she was pretty". "Did you think she was pretty", asked Thad jokingly. Lizzy blushes hard.

"I...did...think she was", said Lizzy slightly embarrassed. "Hey, I won't tell anyone", said Thad. "Thanks Thad", said Lizzy. Thad just smiles. Lizzy takes a quick breather, then continues her story. "I went to look at her but what took her place was....something else....she...had no skin, all that was underneath was just muscles and tendons. She asked me again and then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Tessa, the real Tessa.

She looked at me and asked who I was talking to. I turned around to see the skinned Tessa not there. I looked back and saw the skinned one taking up the other Tessa's spot and then I woke up". "Well as disturbing as that was, at least it was a dream", said Thad. "Thankfully", said Lizzy. "Wanna walk around the colony for a bit, might clear your head", said Thad. Lizzy nods at the idea and the two of them leave the house and walk around a bit before spotting someone leaning near a wall.

"Oh, wasn't expecting to see you two up this early", said Uzi as she stopped leaning. "Hey Uzi", said Thad. "Hey", she replied. Lizzy was still shaking just a little, just enough for Uzi to notice. "What happened to her", asked Uzi. "She...had a nightmare", said Thad. "Huh, strange, that's the exact reason I'm out here as well", said Uzi. Lizzy starts to clam herself down some more and stops shaking. "Wanna talk about it", asked Uzi. "Sure", said Lizzy. Lizzy told Uzi about her dream and tried to not spill out her thoughts on Tessa in anyway.

"Oof, sounds bad but at least yours seems not as bad as mine, personally", said Uzi as her hand lightly shakes. "If I may ask, what was yours", spoke Lizzy. Uzi takes a breath as she recalls her nightmare. "I'll...tell you two about it, I guess", said Uzi.

Uzi and N arrive to the evacuation zone, preparing to fight or at least detain V and J, given Uzi didn't want to kill them if she had the chance. Uzi goes after J and the fight goes almost the same until Uzi manges to gain the upper hand much easier, causing J to lie on the ground for mercy. "Say any buzzword and I'll do it", said Uzi as she pointed her railgun at J. J stares at Uzi in fear and tries to speak but is cut off as Uzi fires the rail gun at her, completely earning the top of her torso, just leaving the bottom half intact. Uzi hears clapping until she looks around the room.

N and V stare at Uzi in complete disappointment. "I thought we were friends....I guess I was wrong", said N as he faded away. V simply turned her back against Uzi before fading away. Uzi looked behind her, the clapping getting louder and louder. Khan, her father looked at her sadden as well before fading away as well. Doll and Thad simply shake their head at her in disappointment before also fading. Lizzy appeared nearby and simply disappeared as well. The clapping was starting to randomly stop before suddenly starting all over again.

Then one person appeared in Uzi's sight, Tessa. Uzi tried to speak but no words came out, just oil being spat out onto the floor. "....you should've left me there, instead of giving me false hope for a future", said Tessa. Uzi tried to walk towards her but her right leg was being pulled. She looked down to see J's arm holding onto her, not even connected to a body. Gallons of oil seemed came pouring down from the sides of the room, filling the room in a black lake. "...we shouldn't have been friends", said Tessa as she finally disappeared.

All that remained in the room was Her and the endless oil in front of her. Suddenly she woke up, scared and frightened. Uzi got up from her and Tessa's newly acquired bunk bed from yesterday. She exited the her house and simply leaned near a wall to calm herself down.

"And that's how I got here, I been out here for a hour until you guys showed up", said Uzi, her hand shaking a little less. "...I'm sorry to hear that Uzi, that must have been rough.", said Thad. "Ehh, I'm fine now, but thank you", said Uzi. The three of them stay silent for a bit. "...how was the meeting yesterday Uzi,", asked Lizzy. "It was...a lot more exciting than it should've been, but the murder drones are allowed to room the colony for a week before a official decision is made afterwards", said Uzi. "Well that's good news at least", said Lizzy.

"...I have a question to ask you Lizzy", said Uzi. "And what would it be", said Lizzy. "Do you know about....Doll's condition", asked Uzi. "What condition", asked That and Lizzy. "Lizzy, do you perhaps know about something called the Absolute Solver", asked Uzi seriously. Thad is confused at the question but Lizzy starts to sweat a bit. "Wha..what do you mean", said Lizzy in slight fear. "Given your reaction, I'm sure you definitely know about it", said Uzi.

"Liz, what is she talking about", asked Thad in concern. "And what if I did know", said Lizzy. "Then nothing will change, I'm simply asking because i apparently have it as well", said Uzi. Lizzy goes wide eyed at the response. "You...have that thing that Doll has", said Lizzy. "I do, apparently mine has yet to activate but Doll's solver might be active and that brings me to another question", said Uzi.

"An..and that be", asked Lizzy. "Did you help her get oil from others", asked Uzi. "You're saying that she helped Doll ki..kill people for their oil, that is absurd, right Lizzy", asked Thad in slight fear. Lizzy stayed silent, looking down in shame. "Yo..you didn't do that..right", he asked. "I...did help Doll harvest oil from others..but it was to help her", said Lizzy in fear. "I know, I was just wondering if you helped her", said Uzi. The three go silent from the conversation. Thad stands away from Lizzy in fear and shock that his sister would do that. Lizzy is looking down in absolute shame, while Uzi simply leans back onto the wall.

"I'm not mad at you or Doll, I understand why you helped her, she would've suffered from constant overheating like the murder drones", said Uzi. Lizzy wipes away her digital tears. "Thank..you Uzi", said Lizzy. Thad gets closer back to the group and hugs Lizzy. The two then let go of the hug. "I need to talk to Doll about the solver and how to control it before it suddenly appears randomly", said Uzi. "I see", said Lizzy. "I don't know what this solver is but I hope you get it under control", said Thad. "Thank you", said Uzi.

"Welp, I'm going back home, I simply want to relax now", said Uzi. "Yeah, I guess we should go as well", said Lizzy. "See you guys later in day, hopefully", said Uzi as she started to walk away. "You to Uzi", said Thad as him and Lizzy walked away as well. "Do you feel better, well beside the whole solver thingy from Uzi", asked Thad. "Yeah, I'm feeling better", said Lizzy. "Well that's good then, hopefully the rest of your dreams with Tessa aren' tlike that", said Thad jokingly. Lizzy slightly blushes at the insinuation but laughs it off. "I hope so to", said Lizzy.

Chapter Text

Uzi entered the house and saw Tessa exiting her room, a bit tired and sleepy. "Good morning Tes", said Uzi. Tessa yawns, "good morning", she replied. Uzi always felt slightly guilty that Tessa had to sleep on the couch but thankfully Khan got that bunk bed finally, giving Tessa a proper bed to sleep on. Tessa fell asleep as soon as she went to bed, which felt kinda weird for Uzi since she was still awake. "Where did you go this morning", asked Tessa tiredly. "I had a nightmare and went to clear my head", replied Uzi.

Tessa goes to the fridge and grabs some Repafood tea she made. Uzi also gets a cup of the tea as well. "What you want for breakfast", asked Uzi. "Waffles if we have any", said Tessa. Uzi looks around looks around the top of the fridge and finds some waffles. "Found some", she said. Uzi puts some waffles in the toaster and they pop up a few minutes later. Uzi also makes some waffles from herself. "I'm going to talk to Doll sometime soon about the solver, I want to be prepared for it and to hopefully control it", said Uzi. "I see, I'll probably hangout with Lizzy sometime later, if possible", said Tessa as she bit on her waffle.

"You know, I'm surprised that you aren't hanging out with N and the others, given they're essentially your best friends", said Uzi. "...huh, I haven't really hangout with them at all, most we did was when they broke in and the shopping trip with Lizzy", said Tessa. "Yeah, the shopping trip was pretty fun", said Uzi. "It was", replied Tessa. The two continue to eat their waffles.

"Welp, it's almost 6:30, I'm gonna go see if Doll is awake or not, see you sometime later", said Uzi as she started to rinse her plate before leaving. "See you soon", said Tessa as she continued to eat her waffle. Uzi starts to walk down the hallway, which has become more active now that others are awake. She continues walking until she reaches Doll's house. She knocks on the door before it suddenly opens.

"Oh, hi Uzi, what do you want this morning", said Doll tiredly. "I need to speak to you in private about it, may I come in", asked Uzi. "Sure I guess", said Doll as she let Uzi inside. "So...what is this so important matter then", asked Doll. Uzi takes a breath before speaking, "It's about the Absolute Solver", said Uzi. Doll eyes go wide eyed in shock. "Ho...how do you know about that....thing, that curse", asked Doll worried. "My dad spilled it that my Mom had it when I was at the meeting yesterday", said Uzi.

Doll slightly calms down a bit at the response. "I see and I'll guess that you want to know how to control it or at least know more about it", said Doll. "Yes, given that Cyn had it as well, it would be useful to know what it could do before eventually fighting her and how to use the cool powers it comes with", said Uzi. "I'll try to help you use it but do know, it does come with....side effects", Doll said. "I know about the side effects, had Lizzy confirmed her help with yours as well", said Uzi.

"So you know about-", said Doll before getting interrupted. "I know about Lizzy helping you with your kills, yes", said Uzi. "I see", said Doll. The two stare at each other awkwardly, waiting for someone to continue the conversation. "So...can you help me with my solver", asked Uzi awkwardly. "Sure", said Doll unsure. Doll goes behind a curtain and grabs an arm and tosses it towards Uzi. "I knew you ate others but to hold a part of your victim feels....wrong", said Uzi as she grabbed the limb. "Eat it", said Doll. Uzi stares at Doll in disgust.

"You want me to eat this", asked Uzi. "Yes, my solver activated when I exposed myself to eating oil, it also manged to get rid of the feeling at first", said Doll. "What feeling", asked Uzi. "Before my solver activated, I always felt this slight hunger in me, then when I found some oil, I couldn't gold myself back and ate it, immediately getting rid of the hunger and activating my solver", said Doll. "I always thought I just didn't eat enough, turns out it was eldritch magic instead", said Uzi. Doll rolled her eyes at the comment.

"Welp...down the hatch", said Uzi as she bit onto the arm, oil leaking from the new wound. Uzi felt immediately relaxed, as if she didn't have any problems at all. That was until the taste of oil hit her mouth, almost making her vomit it out, but she suppressed the urge. Uzi drops the arm and coughs some oil back onto the floor. "You okay", asked Doll in concern. "I'm fine, just not used to the taste nor the feeling", said Uzi. "Understandable", replied Doll.

"I do feel...calmer though, which is nice I guess", said Uzi as she wobbles a bit from the coughing and taste. "When ever you feel ready, we'll try to awaken your solver", said Doll as she sat on her couch. Uzi sits on the couch as well. A few minutes go by for the two of them. "I think I'm ready now Doll", said Uzi. "Okay", she replied. The two of them get up from the couch. "For this next step, we'll have to try to see if your solver is active, so I'll be right back", said Doll as she went to her room. Doll comes back with a small handheld mirror.

"What's the mirror for", questioned Uzi. "When my solved appeared, it first activated when I stared at a mirror, before violently cracking it, lost 20 mirrors of all shapes and sizes from that", said Doll. "Why do you that many mirrors anyway", asked Uzi. "I didn't want to ruin the bathroom mirror", said Doll. "Fair enough", said Uzi. Doll golds the mirror in front of Uzi. "So...is something supposed to happen or wha-", said Uzi before the sound of cracking glass appeared. "Welp, seems to be active, now we have to control it", said Doll.

"At least we're making progress", said Uzi. "Now for the next step, we need to activate your full control of it, it can only randomly appear for now", said Doll. Doll grabs some knifes from her kitchen before walking back to the main room. "Now for this, we need to trigger it's fight response, so I'll throw some knife near you and you have to try to see if your solver can catch them", said Doll. "....you're kidding right, right", asked Uzi in slight fear. "Don't worry, I won't hit you, I can control mine essentially perfectly", said Doll. 'If you say so", said Uzi as she prepared herself.

Doll uses her solver and grabs the knifes, before multiplying them, creating 12 knifes floating around her. She throws them at Uzi, who is in absolute fear and awe at Doll's solver abilities. Uzi holds her hand out in response, trying to activate it on one of the knifes coming towards her. She manages to grab a knife with her solver, a bright purple solver symbol appearing on the knife before it pulses away and the knife flings into a nearby wall. "Well....at least you could use it, even if you couldn't fully manage to control it", said Doll. "Can we take a break real quick, need to recover from being attacked with knifes", said Uzi. Doll simply nods in response.

The two once again go back on the couch, Uzi's core pulsating rapidly still from the sudden rush earlier. "Hey Doll....how do you feel about Tessa", asked Uzi. "....she's a...unique individual in terms of, well appearance and personality I guess", replied Doll. "Do you feel like a friend to her", asked Uzi. "I do but I'm sure there's someone who feels more than being a friend to her", said Doll while smirking. Uzi thinks on that statement, trying to figure who she is referring to. J admitted to wanting to date Tessa but Doll wouldn't know that, N and V she is unsure of since she hasn't spent that much time with either of them to ask about Tessa.

Uzi keeps thinking and eventually finds only one person Doll could be thinking about, leaving her in shock. "LIZZY", yelled Uzi in realization. Doll laughs at Uzi's sudden realization. "Yeah...seems to me that Lizzy might have some feelings for dear Tessa", said Doll. "Really out of all people, Lizzy liking Tessa, just seems so....random", said Uzi. "Love be like that sometimes", said Doll. "Fair I guess", replied Uzi. "....are you ready for some more training Uzi", asked Doll. "Sure I guess", said Uzi as she got off the couch.

Doll gets up as well and the two are now standing in the middle of the room. "Next we'll try to see if you can pick up items with your solver, this will help you not only control your solver but as well as on how to make sure it does what you want", said Doll. Doll pulls the knifes from the wall and puts them back into the kitchen. She grabs some random limbs from the kitchen and puts them on the floor. "Try to see if you can grab them with the solver", said Doll. Uzi takes a breath and sticks her hand out towards the limbs.

Uzi closes her eyes to focus and feels something almost trying to pull itself from her. Uzi open her eyes and sees something strange coming from her hand. Doll smiles at Uzi and sees the glossy metallic substance appear from Uzi's hand, slowly pulling itself towards the pile of limbs in front of it and disconnecting from Uzi's hand. It moves towards an arm and the substance starts to change shape on the object. It forms a hexagon on the center of the limb before 3 arrows appear around the hexagon, 1 at the top and two at the bottom corners. Before glowing purple and the Absolute Solver symbol appears in full view.

Uzi moves her hand and sees the limb start to follow her in response. "Was that...metallic stuff supposed to appear", asked Uzi. "Yes, once you gain more control, the substance will match your color and will be much faster to act, such as mine", said Doll. "See, the solver creates a substance that the user uses to manipulate the reality around them, with full control it just seems like your solver is just using magic, when in reality it's just fancy light tricks and really powerful magnets", she continued.

"So the solver isn't just weird magic...boo, would've been color than just magnetic sludge that lights ups into shapes, at least it's cool", said Uzi. "From what I also gathered, each solver has a unique ability as well, so we'll have to find out what yours is", said Doll. "What is your special ability then", asked Uzi. "I can teleport", said Doll.

"How does the solver do that", questioned Uzi as she let go of the limb, placing back onto the table. "It's not full on teleportation but rather me melting down and reappearing at a different spot at highly increased speed, it just produces lots of light in response", said Doll. "I guess that makes more sense....probably", said Uzi.

"Here's a good example of what I was talking about earlier, when I use my solver on a object, the symbol appears on my hand, light seems to go towards the object, and then the symbol appears on said object", said Doll grabbing a limb before chewing on it. "Still disgusts me that you eat those but I'll have to eventually", said Uzi. "Don't worry, it gets easier to eat oil the more you consume, also good to flavor the oil with other food", said Doll.

"I'll let you practice on your own for a bit, wanna see if you can awakened the other features besides the basic one, I'll be back", said Doll as she left the room. Doll walks own the hallway, happy that Uzi is making progress on her training. She walks around a bit and stumbles into someone, V. "Watch where you're going-", said Doll as she realized who it was she found. V gets slightly annoyed from the sudden run in and sees it's Doll...someone who's parents she killed. Even though Doll understands the murder drones situation, she still feels slightly upset at V still.

"Umm....hi...there", said V nervously, seeing the awkwardness of this situation. "Hel...hello to you as well...V", said Doll.
