Chapter Text
Jaycee looked up at the dark night sky as she ran down a long narrow street.
She stopped, looking through tear stained eyes, for a house at the end of the road. Spotting it, she ran and pounded on its front door. A woman opened the door. Apon seeing Jaycee, eyes red and puffy, and without the others, her heart started to race.
"Jaycee! What is the matter?" She asked, letting the younger but taller girl in. "They came and took Him, Edah! Peter tried to help, but He told him to stop! And Judas was with them.." Jaycee started to cry again, and immediately wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. Edah didn't have to ask who "He" was. She already knew.
"Calm down. Where are the others?" She asked, placing a hand on her friends shoulder. "I don't know! The Pharisees and the gaurds came and arrested Him! And they all ran." Jaycee was ashamed to admit it, but when their Rabbi had needed them, they had all run away.
"Peter came back to the house and told us what had happened," she continued, "and then he and John went after the Rabbi, and everyone else was in a panic, and they started to leave, and I don't know where they went."
"Think, where could they have gone? Maybe to the shore? Or maybe they went to Andrew's flat..?" Edah asked, she went to her room and came out with a robe.
"Come on, we'll check Andrew's flat, and if they aren't there, we'll look for them in the morning," she continued, "It'll do us no good to look if we can bearly keep our eyes open." Jaycee nodded in agreement, and they both stepped out into the cold street.
With Edah leading the way, they made their way to Andrew's flat. Edah knocked on the door, "Peter! Andrew, anyone!? Are you in here?" she half shouted, being careful in trying not to wake the neighbors.
They stood there in silence for a couple of seconds before Edah knocked on the door again. Nothing. She looked up at Jaycee, who was basically clinging to her.
"No answer. Let's go back and get some rest, and we'll continue looking in the morning. Is this the first time you've all been separated?" she asked. Jaycee thought for a second before answering. "There was a few times where the Rabbi split us up," she said, "like in the missions were he sent us out two by two, or some of us would go to the market or something, but we've never been separated like this."

Edah placed some bread on a small plate and poured out some water into a cup.
After last night, she had a hard time getting Jaycee to go to sleep. She was the type of person who always thought the worst, so when her Rabbi and freinds went missing, she had a panic attack.
Edah looked to see Jaycee rubbing her eyes and walking into the main room. "Morning." she said, choosing her words carefully.
Jaycee smiled and nodded as she sat down at the table. Edah put the plate and cup in front of her, "Eat. And then we can check the market place to see if anyone has seen them." Jaycee started to eat, and Edah started cleaning up. Then there was a bang on the door. Before Edah could do anything, Jaycee had gotten up and opened the door. "What d- Peter!?" Edah dropped the bowl she was holding and ran over...
