Summary
Dean has cabin fever—which is fine, and a luxury, considering he spent most of his life on the road. Except, when he suggests that he and Castiel take a roadtrip on two of the motorcycles in the motor pool to anywhere they want, Sam drops the mother of all bombshells on him—that he's moving out to attend college in Lawrence, and Rowena is tutoring him in the art of witchcraft.
The world is cruel—at least, he thinks, but the road and his burgeoning new relationship with Castiel give him perspective, and the opportunity to finally relinquish the control his father gave him all those years ago: to let Sam go to live his own life, and to let someone look out for him for a change, that someone being the love of his life, and the one man Dean never thought he could have, until Castiel says otherwise.
