Huntress Wizard woke up exactly at 7 am, just like she did every morning. It was all part of keeping an ascetic lifestyle and being a cool wizard.
Already fully awake, she sneaked to sit on the edge of the bed and started stretching. She had already gotten used to it. Plus, waking up early guaranteed enough energy for a day full of productivity.
Sadly, her sleepy boyfriend that had been sleeping curled up beside her didn't agree.
Said boyfriend grumbled as she finished stretching and used her magic to attach her coat and boots on.
"Huntress...it's so early"
She giggled at the human's croaky tone, slowly she turned around and raised her pointer finger to his lips. "Shhh, you can keep sleeping if you want, I've got wizard-y biz to get to."
Finn's eyes widened as much as they could, still really tired he crawled to her side and asked. "Wait, you're leaving before breakfast again?"
Despite needing to flee immediately to wizard city, it was really difficult for her to ignore the human's sad tone. "Hey, I've got important stuff to do."
"Well- you say that everytime! Come on, don't leave just yet. Stay with me." He begged while wrapping his hands around her middle and nuzzling up to her side.
Even if she was reasonably tempted by the cute, whiny hero. Huntress Wizard still couldn't deny her responsabilities. "Hey, we can still hang out later, don't worry." She replied softly enjoying the warmth that the human's body radiated.
"Yes, you always say that too! And then you don't show up again for a week." Sadly, Finn was correct, sometimes she just got so absorbed into her hunting and her spells that everything else just slipped from her mind. Such was the life of a wizard.
"Could you at least stay for breakfast.... this time? Jake's at Lady's for the weekend so... we could have a super awesome Huntress & Finn style day..." The human almost mumbled that last part as he was too exhausted to make a coherent sentence.
"We can do that in the afternoon if you want." The huntress tried to negociate as she took advantage of the human's sleepiness to untangle herself.
Just as she was getting up, Finn very weakly grabbed her coat with his robot arm, lazily enough so that she could easily break free from his grip. "Noo, stay."
Augh Finn, can you stop being so adorable?
Huntress turned around yet again to look down to the small hero, she then reached for his chin and lifted it, staring lovingly at his pesky and tired expression.
"I'm sorry baby, I'll clear my schedule so I can stay to cuddle next time, I promise." She said with her usual cool tone and planted a pair of kisses on the human's face.
He blushed a little and slowly broke his grip on her coat, falling back into the matress with a defeated look. "Nah, you gotta do what you gotta do, I'm sorry for being clingy, I just.. really miss you in the mornings."
"That's okay. I miss you in the mornings too." She allowed herself to lay next to him for a while, slowly making her way under his silly hat and softly petting and stroking his golden locks. "You have really great hair."
Finn made a happy noise as he cuddled up to her again, closing his eyes like he wasn't able to keep them open anymore. "Yeah... I guess my hair is pretty rad."
"You sound drunk." She pointed out giggling while still caressing the hero's hair.
He smiled at that, and got even closer so he could kiss her face just like she did earlier.
The wizard tried to keep her cool even though she was really flustered, she instinctively pulled the human by the waist to press their bodies even closer together, maybe she could stay for a little longer.
Just as she considered that she started feeling with her wizard sense that somebody was calling for her, very far away. Have the other wizards already arrived to the meeting and were looking for her? Crap, she needed to hurry.
Huntress Wizard fled from the bed in an flash and magically turned herself into a bird to better fit into one of the tree house's open windows.
Finn, startled at the suddenness of the situation gave a high-pitched scream and got into his arms and knees. "Huntress Wizard!" He shouted at the bird in the window.
"Sorry precious! I'll bring you a big elk for dinner!" She exclaimed apologetically before flying away, leaving a very saddened and sleepy human boy thinking about his life choices.

"That was disappointing" Said BMO who had been hiding in Jake's drawer all along.
