Work Text:
"Come on, this way," Tara said, dragging Eliot down a deserted hall.
They were in the middle of a job that involved going undercover at a week long party. That was being held at a massive estate. As a couple. And the hall that he was being dragged down was one of the ones filled with bedrooms. Not the one with their own bedroom either.
"They are going to think we are up to no good," Eliot said.
"We're not the only couple sneaking off to the wrong hall tonight," Tara said. "There is way too much drinking for anyone to suspect too much."
She dragged him into a room. Which they started to search. Pretty much every bedroom in the whole of the manor had someone staying in it. And they had a lot of searching to do. None of them had yet been able to figure out who their mark was there to do the hand off with. So they were left with the good old fashioned method of searching.
There was nothing in the first bedroom they searched. Or the second. Or the third. But they kept going. Room after room.
But then they heard someone coming down the hall to the room they were in. They grabbed the handle.
Just as fast Eliot grabbed Tara and kissed her. She knew what he was doing and kissed right back, very quickly making it look like they thought they were in their own room and not someone else's.
"I think you are in the wrong room."
They broke apart at the man's voice. Their mark of all people. Tara giggled and the man laughed as well. Knowing what kind of night the guests were having.
"Oops," she said, and they left.
"Let's go finish that," Tara said, flushed.
