Yes, Dan still remembered, how he had claimed that they never shared clothing. And he had also seen people discussing on tumblr how he had immediately contradicted himself as he explained, that he sometimes wore Phils shorts. They did sometimes share clothes, but he wasn’t planning to tell everyone that. It was their private thing. He had just kinda fucked up with that. They didn’t share clothes often, their styles were too different for that. But right now, Dan was wearing one of Phils Hoodies. It was suspiciously moss green. Dan assumed it was part of the clothes, Phil had died green in a mental breakdown when Dan had been on tour alone.
He was standing on the balcony of their hotel room in Seattle, looking over the city. It wasn’t especially cold here, but at night the temperatures dropped a bit and Dan was shivering a little. He wrapped his arms around himself and dug the fingers into the soft fabric of Phil’s hoodie. Dan heard the door behind him open but he didn’t turn around. Phils arms wrapped around him and his hands vanished in the pocket of the hoodie. Dan immediately felt warmer with Phil pressed up against his back and he smiled. He put his hands into the pocket as well and just laid them on top of Phil’s hands.
“You alright?” asked Phil. Dan could feel Phil’s jaw moving, since his chin rested on Dan’s shoulder.
“Yeah, just needed a moment,” Dan replied.
“Should I leave you alone?” Phil asked. He had always understood, when Dan had needed alone time. But Dan shook his head. This was actually perfect. The tour was exhausting. They knew it would be. Which made this moment, of them standing out here in the night together in silence so much more perfect. It allowed Dan to recharge a little bit and he hoped, Phil felt the same. Dan turned around and pressed a kiss to the corner of Phil’s mouth. He saw Phil starting to smile just before he turned back around and looking across the city again, enjoying Phil’s warm body against his back.
