He was in Erwin’s office, Hange was talking with Erwin so he was just standing next to the door, he didn’t car about whatever Hange was rambling about, it was something about her new experiments with the titans but according to what Levi understand it wasn’t something very important
Hange talked for about an hour before Moblit came and told her that someone that Levi didn’t know call her, he didn’t have a reason to stay the whole time Hange was there, but he did, why? not even him knew, he stand there in silence seeing Erwin’s every movement, that was creepy but.. yeah
“Do you need something Levi?” Erwin’s voice resonated through the room
“No” Erwin arched a brow at the response
“Then why are you here?”
“Do I need an excuse to come see you?”
“Well no, but it’s the first time you come see me without wanting anything”
“You make me sound like I only want your money or something”
“You know what I meant”
“Yeah”
Erwin stood up and walked towards the door, he stood right in front of Levi
“Don’t kiss me” Levi said “But I won’t complain if you do”
“Who said I was gonna kiss you?” Levi chuckled
“Maybe I just like to assume that my boyfriend likes to kiss me”
“Maybe he likes”
“Then why is he still talking?” Levi put his arms behind Erwin’s neck while talking
Erwin kissed him, a sweet kiss, nothing really intimate, just their lips pressing together
The door opened
“Hey Erwin I need-” Hange walked into the office “Oh my god….” Hange dropped the documents, presumably paperwork, that she had on her hands, the paper sheets scatter all around the floor “What in Sina’s name I just walked into”
“Hange what the fuck, dont you know how to knock?” Levi almost screamed, by this point Erwin was already distance enough of Levi
“I need to tell everyone about this! I can’t believe you guys are hooking up”
“We’re not hooking up” Hange arched a brow for a while, then the previous shocked face she had on evolved the kind of face she put on when a titan was captured for her experiments
“Wait.. so you’re a thing!” The excitement was almost coming out of her eyes, she ran outside of the office and closed the door behind her
“Do you think she’s telling everyone”
“I think you know the answer for that”
They laughed, they weren’t expecting this kind of relationship reveal but they didn’t have a problem, if someone had something against their relationship they will simply don’t care, they’ve been dealing with people yelling at them for the deaths of countless people, some homophobic bastards were something they’ll sure manage to keep up with
For the next few days their relationship was something everyone was whispering about, especially the survey corps, it was kinda annoying having the whole corps asking them if the rumors were truth, of course the answer was ‘yes’ but some of them still believe it was some kind of joke or a test to prove how gullible they are, which was a pretty clever guess but still very absurd.
Him and Erwin didn’t show PDA so it was a little bit more difficult to prove if they were really dating, probably that’s the reason the whole ‘it’s a joke’ or ‘a test’ thing came out
Levi was walking, the sky was full by clouds that make the sun just slightly visible, the birds were quiet and the only sound were the breeze of the wind hitting the leaves of the trees and the sound of his boots stepping on the wet grass, it’ve been raining the whole day so there was also a lot of mud all around the place
He walked for a while, the field full of stones and grass that probably hasn’t been cut on ages, at the distance he could see a family having a picnic near one of the stones, for a minute he forgot what was he doing here until he took a closer look on what appeared to be the mother’s face, he was crying but she still had a smile on her face
He stopped walking, he took a look around him trying to find a reason of why the mother was crying, and the he realized they weren’t stones, they were graves
He the remembered what was he doing here, he walked for a little until he arrived to one of the graves full of flowers that were already messed up by the rain, he stand in front of the grave
“I told you, didn’t I?” His voice cracked “Don’t go, you’ll die, I told you that, but you ignored me you just said started saying a lot of ‘buts’ and I stopped listening” He stood up in silence for a minute “It upset me when you’ll just never listen to me, you always had the perfect excuse, didn’t you? You never listened to me but I always listened to you” He crouched down and left the bouquet of flowers he brought ."Was it because you were my commander? or was it because I was so blindly in love with you that I’ll trust you with my life without a doubt?, You can think of an answer, wherever you are you have all the time of the world, I brought you some flowers, I hope you like them” He turned around “I’ll probably stay more time but the truth you were so eager to find out result in a lot of bullshit that made a whole mess, in a lighter note, Historia is doing a pretty good work being queen, another one of your bets was right, see you later Erwin”
He started walking away “I love you” the words came out of his mouth as a whisper “You’ll probably have some more visits later, the brats are really sad about your death” He stopped “ Erwin, before I go, I don’t regret choosing Armin over you, you teached me how to not let your personal feelings over the right choice”
