Aziraphale has lost count of how often he’s deceived his fellow angels because of Crowley.
That “evil smell” in his bookshop? Just his new cologne.
Job and Sitis’ “conception”? The same three children Crowley saved.
Surviving hellfire? Crowley, taking his place, while Aziraphale did the same in holy water.
In a better world, he would shout to the universe that Crowley kissed him … but not in this world, where he’s broken Crowley’s heart.
Lord … could there ever be a world for us?
A still, small voice answers him from the inmost depths of his heart.
“Only if we make it.”
