Summary
Serena was many things. Above all, she was a businesswoman who offered a truly unique service.
Through the weaving of one's 'fate', one might gain a new chance at life, opening new possibilities for themselves and their world. However, the price to alter one's fate, let alone others or the world, might be too dear. Timelines twisted and frayed as they diverged from what they were meant to become, and so she decided to step in personally and meddle in the fates instead of hearing only about the stories from her clients. As their patron, she had to uphold her side of the vow binding them.
Unfortunately for this particular 'Earth' realm, Serena might have made things worse by her arrival. Those haunting her steps certainly didn't help stabilize things, either. Still, how could she not take advantage of the chaos?
Just as Hope transcended good and evil, right and wrong, so she would do the same.
Reaching out to others, regardless if they are villains or heroes, monsters or mortals, was just a sound business decision. But was that all it was?
