Summary
Anthony J Crowley has been in the television business for decades. In the cut-throat world of British independent television, his company, Corinth television, is the crown jewel of South-West England television, discreetly encouraging hedonism and corrupting the morals of children since 1966 when they first got their franchise license.
But it is 1985, and there is a new competitor in town: Angelview Television, backed by technological mogul and devout Christian: Rupert Campbell-Black. Heaven has finally caught on, two decades later, that broadcasting to millions of families is the new efficient way of spreading the gospel, and they’ve tasked their wealthiest and most influential to do it.
Anthony isn’t scared about losing the franchise. His Controller of Programmes, Anathema is a force of nature to be reckoned with, and he’s got her under his thumb. But there’s something about one of Angelview’s directors that’s got him hooked: a man called A.Z Fell.
