(THIS IS STILL A WIP)
In this universe, only humans and meta humans of Earth are able to shift into dragons (sorry Kryptonians, Amazons etc.). There are 7 kinds of dragons:
Dragons: Dragons have four legs and one pair of wings. They are colored red, orange, white or yellow, their scales taking the hue of fire, embers, the sun etc. They are immune other fire attacks as long as it’s not on an open wound and can breathe the hottest fire of all Kinds: white fire.

Wyverns: Wyverns have two hind legs while their front legs have merged with their wings. They are usually dark colors that allows them to blend in the night. They have heightened senses, which make them incredible hunters.

Drakes: Drakes are wingless dragons with four legs. They have rich saturated earthy colors and often have shiny scales matching the tints of gemstones. They can run fast over long distances and can keep up with flying dragons with enough training. Their scales and overall build is very sturdy, to the point their can survive falls that would have been deadly to other Kinds. They are also fast diggers and can build underground nests in record time.

Leviathan: Leviathans are serpent like dragon with no limbs. They have dark colors reminiscing of the deep sea, but some lucky individuals have splashes of colors allowing them to blend in coral reefs. They are the biggest Kind and are incredible swimmers, though they can crawl on earth at a decent speed. They also spit boiling water instead of breathing fire

Amphiteres: Amphitere have only wings they use as front limbs to walk. Many parts of their bodies are covered in feathers. They have the ability to change their scale and feather colors but prefer to stick to hues mimicking the sky at different time of the day. They are also incredible flyers in both speed and stamina.

Hydras: Hydras have no wings but five heads and a split tail. Their colors have a large range of hue, though the patterns often mimic snakes. They have the ability to regenerate an entire head if it has been severed, and in general, have very fast healing. (However, they aren’t immune to illnesses). But the healing factor is nullified if the wound has been burned/cauterized.

Lóng: Lóng are serpentine dragons with four limbs but no wings. They are bright colored, most often a combination of red, gold or blue, with large manes for both sexes. Lóng are very good swimmers and are said to be able to make rain fall on command. Despite the lack of wings, they can still fly; other dragons describe their flight as "wind running"

World Building and Facts:
- Magic is more common than in the og universe and is being used in different sectors of life.
-> Many objects are used to lock people out of their shift: enchanted collars, barcelets, or drugs.
- With Hydras and Leviathan being the rarest Kind, their are the most trafficked on the black market. Amphiteres come third due to the beauty of their feather.
- All dragons shed. Most of the time this make them itchy and grumpy, but bad sheds do happen and lead dragons to hospitals. On top of scales, Amphitere molt feathers and Lóng shed fur.
- It is tradition for loved ones to exchange scales and feathers when they shed. Often a dragon will mount the scales they gained from families and friends on collars or bracelets as a symbol that one's flock is always close, in a dragon's heart. Due to wear and tear, one's collar has to be regularly updated. The First Collar is an important tradition, where parents give their clutch their first ever collar with the parents' scales when the dragonet reach 10 years old.
